Gryffindor Common Room

ivoliss walked into the common room and glanced around for a sighn of anyhting to do while he waited for the next day of class

( Zelda is in Gryffindor ,but Kaitlyn is in Hufflepuff)

Zelda entered after a hard day of practice and walked over to the fire. " I'm tired" She said hafe aware of everyone in there.

" Well the Order has me spying for them at Hogwarts... I have already graduated... I'm 19" Zelda said.

" Yep... so do you need help?" Zelda asked.

" Ok.. tell me if you do.." Zelda said as she picked up the quibler and started to read it.

Rista walks in, "Hi. My name's Rista. Oh, I see you're reading the Quibbler. Anything interesting?"

" Oh nothing much .. just that he say's that faries are going to take over the world in the next year." Zelda said to the new face... " Oh you are new... What is your name?" Zelda asked .

"That editor is one...unique individual," Rista said hesitantly. "The name's Rista."

" Ah Riska.. What is your year?" Zelda asked... " And oh Im Zelda Rundell by the way." Zelda said as she shook Riskas hand.

This is my 1st year here, Nelda. How about you?

" Well I'm the new Charms teacher here!" Zelda said happily!

"My mistake, Professor Rundell," Rista said, a little ashamed. "I would not have gotten a little snarky if I'd known that before. It's nice to meet you. I think I'm actually going to rather enjoy charms. It's one of the classes I'm looking forward to."

" Cool... Oh and I'm sorry I should have introduced myself as Professor Rundell...I new to this so be easy on me.." Zelda said. " What is your favorite subject?" Zelda asked.

"I think I'm going to love potions. I'm looking forward to Transfiguration, too. Charms sounds like a lot of fun, but I really can't wait until my third year so I can take Care of Magical Creatures," Rista said all in one breath. She took a deep breath and plowed on. "I'm just really excited about this whole thing. See, l'm muggle-born. Mum and dad were really happy about it. They said I could make things easier for them. I don't know if that's true. I just hope I won't be slower at learning all this, 'cause I am new to it."

" Do you want me to teach you a prank charm so you can impress all of your friends?" Zelda asked with a smile on her face.

"I don't know....I don't want to get in trouble. Besides, couldn't you get in trouble too? I don't really have many friends to impress yet anyway," Rista replied, a little ashamed.

" Its ok... the prank charm is only a simple one and wouldn't do much damage.. ,but since you are being good Ill teach you something worth while if you want?" Zelda asked.

"Sure. That'd be great!" Rista replied, excitedly.

After the new professor left for class, Rista sat down. She pulled out her potions book from her bag. "I guess I'd better get started on that essay," she said to herself. "Nothing better to do."

( I left?)

Rista had found herself daydreaming again. She always did that. "Sorry, Professor," she said a little confused. "I must have been off in my own little world. I thought you'd left."

" Oh well its fine.. hey do you need any help?" Zelda asked

"I think I should be fine," Rista replied. "Thanks, though. If I have any troubles, I'll let you know. Whenever you want to teach me that charm, just let me know."

" Okay." Zelda said as she walked out of the common room.

"What should you do if you are poisoned? I guess this shouldn't be too hard," Rista thought aloud. "Where was that section I saw the other day."

Suddenly Rista heard a sound behind her.

Hey Rista how are you "said Hunter"coming behind her.

Rista jumped. Even though she had heard him come up, she wasn't expecting to see an actual person. "Oh hi, Hunter," she said. "I'm doing rather well. Just working on some potions homework. How are you doing?"

Hunter laughed as she jumed with fright and said "well i am doin just fine. What are you dong in here anyways?? hunter asked.

"Just studying," Rista said.

What are you studying and if your studying what i am working on could i goin you?

"Sure," she said. "I'm just working on an essay for Potions."

oh well i dont have potions today."hunter said.

"Nor do I," replied Rista. "I just wanted to get an early start on it."

Oh ok well i wonder wat kinda wand i will get? Hunter replied.

Guess what, guess what, guess what!~~goosage

Rista worked on her essay for a while. Then, after a bit, she realized she just couldn't squeeze enough info out of her brain to fill a foot of parchment. "Well, Hunter, I think I'm going to go to the library. Maybe I can find a book there to help me," she said. "Sorry to take off so quickly."

Zelda walked into the room and saw several students she took the piece of paper she had walked in with and posted it to the bulletin bord... She than took a set.
