Preparations (Erika + Stephaine)

Stephaine had woken up late at night or you could say early in the morning she didn't like to sleep she found it was a muggle thing and thus only did to be close to Demetri. A lot had happened when he was asleep and that was another reason why she didn't care much for it she didn't need it and things could happen while you lazily laid in bed with no purpose. She ran for the bed room door where she was certain Demetri was most likely not even noticing she wasn't lying there anymore. She was wearing his white tee shirt which hung low on her and went down to mid thy, her hair was perfectly straightened out and everything except for the back that was pushed up and knotted from the pillow.

Stephaine grabbed the handle but before she could she saw it jiggle and pulled out her wand ready for whatever was behind it. She swiftly swung the door right off its hinges to find all that was there was Demetri. She placed the door on the ground next to the hole where it used to hang.

"Grab your things." she commanded but didn't give him a chance because she grabbed his wrist and started pulling him down the stairs to the front door when she froze.

"Backdoor." she stated doing a 180 and sprinting for the sliding glass door at the back that was covered by lovely maroon drapes. She slid it open and walked through waiting for his groggy response for what had just happened.

"Ya something like that." she mumbled giving him a slight smile. Stephaine turned to look at him his hair was a mess and he wore only his boxers he chest muscular and his 8 back was toned and only added to how Handsome he looked. The look of him lit up her face.
"Hey handsome." she said drawing closer to him but quickly refocused on what had happened.
"We need to leave got any ideas where?" she asked when the door bell rang a high pitched sequel to her ears.

Don't get the door please don't go get the door Demetri. the ringing continued and it irritated her ears so much she had to give in. She used her wand to put decent close on and do her hair and makeup.
"You’re going to want to get dressed." she told him tapping his hard chest with her hand as she walked towards the door. The bell kept ringing highly she sent a charm up the stairs that fixed the door and cleaned up the bed room.
"I'm coming!" she yelled to get the person to stop.
"How on earth has she lived this long?" she grumbled finally opening the door with a fake smile to reveal Demetrie's Mother and her soon to be Mother in law.

Demitri smirked amusingly; he had forgotten he was wearing only his boxers.
"You’re going to want to get dressed." she told him tapping his hard chest with her hand as she walked towards the door. He didn't really feel like changing into something more appropriate but someone important much have been at the door or else Stephaine would've just let him answer it shirtless.

She sent spells flying down the hall to clean up their home while also dressing herself, combing her hair and putting on make-up before answering the door. Demitri shrugged, conjuring himself an outfit, a simple black tee and jeans. He wasn't wearing any shoes but he didn't think it mattered all that much.

"I'm coming!" Stephaine yelled. The bell was rung three more times, now dressed he followed her, walking at a really slow pace. When she opened the door it was hard to make out who it was, Demitri came up from behind his girl and held her by the waist. When the figure finally came into view his eyes grew wide.

"Oh my god" He mouthed looking down at Stephaine and back at his mother.

"Dear I couldn't help but notice your roses need to be watered- they're looking a bit parched- and your trimming a fresh coat of paint-" She chided her voice high and shrilly, "Demitri sweetheart, don't stand with your mouth open, you will catch flies."

Stephaine gritted her teeth and her eyes started to glow but she quickly looked away and re focused so not to kill her fiancés Mother.
"Ya I guess I need a new gardener." she said trying not to say anything hateful it really was going to be the death of her.

She is terrible I don't know how he put up with that for who knows how long no wonder he became a pirate he wanted to get as far away from her as possible. she thought to herself but of course would never say out loud while she was standing right there. Stephaine glanced at demetri then back to the Monster in law that stood in front of her.
"Come in." she managed even though she really didn't want her to come inside her house it was her home and she wasn't even close to being invited.

"What are you doing here?" she asked closing the door behind her, but not after flicking her wand at the outside and making the roses look beautiful and fixing the paint on the outside of her house, she exchanged a look with Demetri one that said if I have to put up with her for much longer someone is going to end up dead.

"Um not at my house." Stephaine said though truth be told it was their house they had moved in together but she had bought it first which meant it was initially hers right. She tried to hold back the annoyance and hatred in her voice as she spoke which self restraint had never been one of her best topics so you could say she didn't manage this very well.

"So how did you even find us?" she asked which in her mind originally was so if he didn't call you why would you bother to find him and on top of that how and why now what do you want money or something? Stephaine tightened her grip on Demetri it was too early in the morning and to late after hunting to have to be tolerant.

"so could you be more specific with your response why did you want to see him now... and yes I always ask this many questions." she said as she could hear the shrill voice saying do you always ask so many rude questions a women’s business is a women’s business.

"You mean that slutt you had a fling with?!" Stephaine asked looking at first at demetri as if she still couldn't believe what happened and then at his mother unable to comprehend that she liked her.

"Listen you may be his mother but you haven't been around so whatever you are trying is not going to work." now that may have been what she said but what she wanted to say was; You may be his mother but you are in for a rude wakening if you think that he gives a crap about what you think anymore see I’m his new girl and since you haven't been around well...I think you can connect the dots. but as much as she wanted to say that you couldn't just start acting like that to your soon to be husbands mother it just doesn't work that way. She took a deep breath and caught a glimpse of her dress sneaking out of the closet and wanted to run up to shut it inside but didn't bother because then his mother would defiantly and she didn't need her controlling their wedding.

Stephaine rolled her eyes as his mother ranted on and on about how a proper lady should act and such but she honestly didn't care his mother was like the spawn of satin and she didn't want to deal with her. After Demetri squeezed her hand and stated that he was going to marry her she could feel her stomach fall to her big toe. She was happy about it because it was like a chiasmic slap to the face but the last thing she needed was his mother to know what was going on and want to get involved or better yet try and break them up. She took her hand from Demetri and started to walk towards the back door.

"I need a smoke." she announced and she could hear his voice now, you don't smoke and her reaction would be the obvious, well I am about to start. She closed the sliding glass door and walked away from it so she wouldn't have been able to be seen by either of the two. She sat down on the floor and her eyes grew a sapphire blue and every single flower in that garden died... it was ok she never liked plants any way. She wanted to yell but couldn't and truth be told she wanted to punch that women into a nursing home. She had to be thousands of years old and she looked like it to with the red lip stick and blue eye shadow it was as if 13 year olds make up box just blew up onto her. She finally walked back inside holding her anger in but couldn't help but swallow shot tequila as she walked over there. It was a vile drink for muggles and even worse for vampires not to mention it didn't even have the effects but you still couldn't keep yourself from drinking it. Stephaine gave his mother a smirk that said something along the lines of what now lady.

Stephaine smirked looking at the disgust in his mothers face she got an abnormal amount of delight out of this cruelty towards her feelings on a "proper marriage".

"I’m sorry how rude of me I forgot to ask what you think about this engagement." She stated now just toying with the women standing in front of her.

"How is she still alive?" she whispered to Demetri all of her family had diseased by now and only knew a rare group of people who were immortal. There was no way his mother was a vampire infect she probably frowns at the idea but is so how is she not dead?

"In conclusion it's been splendid meeting you and all but we must get going see you round the holidays and all that. I am marrying your son now good bye." she said in a tone that spoke the exact opposite she said.

Stephaine couldn't help but laugh watching the women turn redder then a monkey butt on a cold day. She just had to continue on this it wouldn't be any fun if they stopped at the height of excitement.

"Oh no not with me it's rather awkward with the baby and all no we invite friends over for that fun stuff... real kinky to over there is the sex toy closet.” she said running her finger down the buttons of his shirt giving him a smile that pleaded he play along.

Maybe we will have some time for morning sex. she thought to herself trying to stifle laughter as the dinosaurs eyes get as big as Canada as Stephaine spoke.

"Do you... have a problem with me?" she asked pretending to care whether or not his mother opinion was positive or negative.

"What if I am?" she added in to the pool of questions.

"What would you do?" she asked smirking largely. You know that feeling you get when you push someone’s buttons. When you spend your time just to annoy them waiting for that great reaction. That was the reaction she had been waiting for since the beginning. Being Stephaine however she couldn't just leave it at that she had to push that button a bit further.
"What if it's not his?" she asked biting her tongue to keep her from saying anything else one blow up at a time was good.

"Don't worry babe I’m not." she whispered quit enough so only he could hear though she didn’t really have to whisper it didn't seem like his mom had her hearing aid in so she could have yelled it and she doubted his mom would hear. Kissing him on the cheek she took another shot of tequila. not only was she allegedly pregnant with another man’s baby she is marrying demetri, drinking, smoking all during this it was rather funny.

"We haven't set one yet but I figure if we wanted to get married fast we would have been to Las Vegas and back by now." Stephaine said it had just recently happened they hadn't started anything she only had her dress because it was Alice's prom dress for her fifth prom. It was gorgeous looks more like a wedding dress anyway white with embellishments that cost more than her house most likely. Ballroom style bottom with a corset top it was stunning but other than that and the ring nothing had been decided.

"A winter wedding would be nice though right before snow falls there is no way of telling this though you can't find when the first snowflake will fall and have your wedding then." she stated forgetting she was even talking to his mother. Whenever the topic of her wedding came up she sort of lost herself. Getting married was a dream she had as a human a simple dream that she figured she would never reach so unlike other girls she didn't have everything planned out. The right as she drifted off her remembered who she was talking to and quickly collected herself.

"Why do you care you’re not invited and even if you were I would doubt you would like to see your son marry someone like me." Stephaine added looking over at Demetri for support hoping he agreed the last thing she needed was his mother to come and object to it at their wedding.

"Number one rule of planning a wedding is doing invite someone who will object." Stephaine stated plainly glad that Demetri agreed she would hate to have a fight over this and fights didn't work very well for her something would end up broken and she didn't own cheep furniture.

"Excuse me miss but what exactly are you doing here... it seems you had no purpose in coming but discussing this topic which means you already knew this event was taking place... How did you know so much have you been watching him?" Stephaine asked her voice sharp and prosecuting as she moved away from her muscled wall towards the short stout women. She had a distinct look that gave off the impression of a toads face as if any second now she would stick her tongue out and catch a fly. Stephaine quickly and sharply pulled out her wand defensively and pointed it at the women before her. Her eyes shifted from Demetri's reaction to his Mothers.

"Get out of my house!" a growl from her through roared through gritted teeth as it was obvious that she was restraining herself from killing her incase it was his mother.

"NO!" she told Demetri briefly turning around to him but swiftly flashing back to his mother. She stepped closer and her wand pressed against the flabby neck of the women.
"No I want her OUT and NOW!" Stephaine screamed her eyes glowing blue she did not take well to others treating everything like this.

"All this time... All this time you have been following him haven't you... all this time you have been watching his moves, have you been determining his moves to if you don't like them controlling him like a puppet in your sick game." Her breathing was harsh and fast, cold sharps of air as she pressured.

"WELL HAVE YOU!" she added looking back at Demetri and she could tell she was reacting harshly but she couldn't help it once her blood boiled up to a certain level it was hard to calm down after that point.
"GOD ANSWER ME!" she yelled pressing her wand deeply into the throat of her soon to be monster in law.

"You disgust me." she whispered softly but not losing the harshness in her tone. Stephaine had to restrain herself from thinking she wanted the women to drop dead otherwise it would happen and Demetri wouldn't be too pleased by this.
