| So... I've seen it. Have you!? Did you like it - did you LOVE IT - did it need improvement, could you have played Hermione better - could you have played Dobby better? Did you admire the way they added highlights to Emma Watson's hair? Did you enjoy Daniel Radcliffe's chest hair? Any ideas where the heck Charlie is? What sort of underwear do you think Voldemort wears under his robe...? YAY! I loved it, for one. I found it very different, not only in style and atmosphere, but the actors seemed very much aware that it was the penultimate installment of this much-loved franchise. This didn't ruin it for me, just made me rather perplexed and interested, I suppose. Also: - Spoiler:
Why was there so much Harry/Hermione stuff?? It bothered me how much emphasis it had on Harry and Hermione - the dancing, Ron's 'fears' with the nakedness.
And Emma Watson was very down, very depressing I think. She wasn't the glue that kept the boys in good spirits at all, as she was in the book, which bothered me. I wanted to slap her a bit.

| I thought it was MUCH better than the other movies since the 1st and 2nd...this was the first movie I've been able to enjoy. I thought the acting was much improved on what it normally is (*cough* Ron and Harry *cough* but there were a few disappointments... - Spoiler:
-Why did Pettigrew not die? I was very upset by this. HE NEEDED TO DIE. -Why was Voldemort never called to situations? i.e. Godric's Hollow, Malfoy Manor... -How are they planning on explaining how Snape managed to find where the trio was staying? -They should have gone into Dumbledore's past more since a major part of the book is the decrease in faith Harry has for his mentor... -Why couldn't Ron just say Shell Cottage was Bill and Fleurs? Instead of being all "trust me" and then not even showing them once they reach there. SKETCHY. In response to what you said about the Harry/Hermione bit I agree that it was a bit overdone but I thought the dancing thing was adorable! I thought it was good for them to add in that Harry could cheer Hermione up. That is what friend's are for, after all. I just thought they could've made it seem less "intimate" before and after and more of just friends. But I thought it was soooo cute. xD And as for her role as the glue for the guys, I thought the scenes they chose to display gave her little room to show how she kept the whole group together. Most of the scenes they showed of them traveling were after Ron left when she was depressed and down...they didn't show much of Ron taking control either later. Sad But I guess they didn't have enough time for everything even within two parts.
Once again I thought Emma had the best acting out of the trio but Dan has definitley improved. I still find Rupert to be on the lacking side though. (; I didn't like how computer animated Dobby looked. I thought his old self from the second movie looked more realistic then this one.... Emma's hair didn't really bother me all that much. Her hair has been steadily changing since the first book and though I wish they would have kept it a little darker, it's been getting lighter and lighter since the third movie so I wasn't too fussed about it. xD As for Daniel's chest hair...midly disturbing when I saw it. And I did notice Charlie's disappeance...weird. Though I guess he really didn't play a huge role in this film so they decided not to have to pay an actor. xD Overall, there were quite a few moments I enjoyed along wiht disappointments but in my opinion it was much better than any of the previous movies since the second.

the worst thing was that when Dobby was dying some people in the cinema were laughing. Come on people give the elf respect. At the front of the cinema there were actual birds, one looked exactly like hedwig

| Okay, I loved the movie. There were some things that I didn't care for in it, like missing storylines. - Spoiler:
- Why wasn't Regulus mentioned? His whole storyline was amazing and it's just sad that it wasn't in there - Same with Kreacher, he's supposed to be nice and everything now and we didn't see that. - I agree about where is Dumbledore's past in the movie? That's muy importante and it's not there. - I was disappointed about the no portrait and Snape spying thing either And finally, I missed the letter The Sirius and Lily letter that was so much a happy part in the book with me.
The movie overall was just amazing in my opinion though, they did a good job in putting a lot into it that was really cool. Some other thoughts: - Spoiler:
As for Harry and Hermione. Well... love. Much, much, much love at everything between the two of them. I adored the dancing scene. I loved the way that they are shown because it's the way I always saw them As a Harmony shipper, this movie contented me so much. Harmony for life ♥♥♥♥ And I think that they did a fine job showing Hermione trying to hold the boys together, but there was just so much that she could do or whatever. I didn't see it much different than it was from in the book. And I totally cried when Dobby died, like full out cried.

| - Spoiler:
I agree about the whole Kreacher/Regulas thing. I loved that Kreacher became all nice and the whole Regulas storyline was fascinating. So sad that cut that out I was wondering about the portrait/Snape thing...how are they gonna explain how Snape knew where to find them now?? Oo, the letter! I loved that scene! I didn't even think of that when watching...too bad they took it out.
I would have liked Harry/Hermione too...I hate Ron and Hermione together. She deserves better. (; But I like Ginny and Harry together. I think they're cute. By the way, I'm in love with your siggy. SO CUTE.

| - Spoiler:
I'm not sure how they'll explain Snape knowing where to find them, unless they tie it to Ron or something but that's stretching it a bit. I missed the letter scene as soon as Harry walked into the bedroom I was like "Where is the letter?" And also, I was a tad disappointed about the whole lack of Remus and Potterwatch cause those were both cool scenes.
Well thankies ^.^ I've always been a Harmony shipper, so it didn't die when the series ended XD And I really hate both Ginny and Ron as characters, for completely different reasons. I'm not a fan of the Weasley family at all but the twins were my favorite, so I was also very sad at the lack of them in the movies and the fact that the next time we see them will probably be during the battle

| Potterwatch was a major letdown for me. I mean...they'd already put stuff in about Ron listening to the radio? Couldn't they have just put it in? Makes me sad - Spoiler:
The only member of the Weasley family I don't like is Ron. hahha. I love the rest of them The next time we see any of them will probably be the battle, like you said. Except maybe Bill? Because they're staying at his house afterall....speaking of Bill, whoever they got to play him looks nothing like how I pictured him.

| Yeah, they should have worked Potterwatch into it because it would have been amazing.
I've kinda given up on them finding actors who look exactly like I picture the characters in my mind XD But I didn't think that the Bill they found was that bad.
One thing I did love though was the animated story of the three brothers, it was unexpected but so very awesome.

I also thought the whole Bathilda Bagshot part was SUPER CREEPY. *cowers*

The same thing happened at the cinema I went to. I was so ticked! I know and accept that Dobby is the Jar-Jar of the franchise, but still. - Spoiler:
I think my biggest disappointment was the strong lack of development with Kreacher and Regulus's story, as well as the comedy of the bit with Dung and the saucepan. That was one of my favorite parts of the entire series!
I was quite pleased with the Seven Potters scene. I'd really looked forward to it, mainly because I wanted to see Harry in women's underwear.
I loved the dance scene with Harry and Hermione, though I agree that it looked a bit "friends falling in love" rather than "friend trying to cheer friend up."
I've read a lot of statements that the locket kiss scene was uncomfortable and even a little gross. I disagree. It did unsettle me that it was so intense given the fact that, at the heart of it all, this still should be a children's film. I love the way they handled making Riddle-Hermione appear at once more beautiful and more terrible than the real-life counterpart.

| I saw it opening night =) I went full blown Luna Lovegood to the theater too! My thoughts? Well, I don't really know what to think! The movie to me was better than the last two, but not the best one yet. - Spoiler:
I was also very disturbed by Harry's body. Could they show him almost naked just one more time in that movie? Ugh >< Being a major Sanpe fangirl, all I can say is he needed to be in it more. This was most definatly the creepiest movie yet. The part with the ghost Dumbledore made me squeak XD Nagini comming out of the womans mouth was spooky. The naked Harry and Hermonie making out was jsut disgusting (sorry if you ship it) I also found myself hiding behind my friend when Ron was going all creepy and stuff. That part really got to me, for some reason. The radio going static-y, the look in his eyes.... *shivers* I was also really sad they didn't elaborate on Regulus and Kreacher's stories. I got very teary-eyed when Dobby died. I can't beleive people laughed! Everyone at my movie was really sad! =( My absolute favorite part of the film was the telling of the Three Brothers. The animation was so Tim Burton, I LOVED it. <3
So that's to main of it, I don't want to go nit-picking at all the tiny deatails. Also, Xenophilius Lovegood was freaking awesome. I loved his actor, and seeing as he is one of my favorite characters, that made me happy.

| Things that disappointed me: - Spoiler:
~Dobby's death. I looked forward in seeing this scene, and regardless of the photos that I have seen on different sites, I did not expect that they will actually do it in daylight!! I LURVE Dobby, and his burial scene was what I hold really really dear to my heart of all his book appearances! Where is the twinkling stars reflecting on his goggly eyes? Plus, the place where they buried him, I expected it to be a bit more dirty and not SANDY! And, yes, of course, Harry should have bled his hands as he dug his grave! That could have so made my day SO MUCH!
~Potterwatch Just like everybody else, I expected it's random popping as Ron listened to the radio very frequent. Until they were took to the Manor and my hopes died.
Things I majorly loved: - Spoiler:
~HARMONY! This film seemed to be building up the Harmony ship, as everybody else in and out of HE has commented, but it perfectly fitted the whole movie's intended plot or what it wanted us to see - disregarding of our knowledge with stuffs from the books. I found the beginning of the dance scene really funny, xD, though I did get "awww" as they started to get into the music. And yes, I did found it rather more intimate than what it should have supposed to be, like just friend-to-friend comfort. But it was adorable, anyway. So adorable. :D ~Seven Potters Daniel indeed improved in acting. I love his portrayal of "Fleur" I really laughed out loud and so did some in the cinema we were in. The changing of clothes, "Bill don't look at me" and their take off behind a thestral. LOL The way he hugged the Bill actor. Man, he really did well there! Seemed....natural. xD He is that convincing. Those were all I can remember as of now. I'll add more once I watch it again the next day.
Hmmmm....I liked the new house-elf looks. They seemed to be paler, but cute. :D I think Dobby actually looked younger, I must say. The younger, the cuter they look. I love house-elves, anyway, so...yeah, I'm being a bit biased here. :D

| Sooo...I'll start off with the positives and move to the negatives. As a whole I truly did LOOOOVE the movie. I am sooo stoked for the 2nd half though. I am absolutely dyyyyying to see the gringotts part! - Spoiler:
-- One thing I did love that showed the evilness of it all was the direct comparisons to Hitler and his Nazis. From what they wore (blue with red bands around their arms, symbolizing the Gestapo and stuff), to how they acted (with the trials to see if they were purebloods or not; it was compared to the persecution of the Jews). And the Potterwatch was like the BBC or whatever they had during the Holocaust (i forgot), the radio which they listened to for hope and dreaded hearing despairing news from. -The 7 potters had me cracking up! Very well done. XD -The Fred/George moment after his ear is blown off was perfect! I loved the joke, it was exactly how I'd pictured itt!! <3 -Too bad Tonks and Lupin werent paid attention to more. -Of all the parts, the 3 brothers part seemed the MOOOOST PERFECT part of it all. I can't think of a thing they messed up. I loved the little "storytime" scene, it was great! 10/10! -The fight when RON left was pretty good, it made me tear up. -I wish teh Dursleys would have been more involved. I would have loved to see them say goodbye or at least have some of the conversations they had in the book. -I did not like that Wormtail didnt die. That deeply botheed me. it was such a touching moment of justice that he sacrifices himself for Harry's escape, because he realizes he's not worthy. And they end up just knocking him out!? wth! -I didn't like the Godrics Hollow part. Well, I did, up until Nagini comes out of Bathilda. I wanted it to be gory and gross and horrible and every bit of rottonness it was described with in the book. I really thought it would have been a great scene of horror! But, they had to make it more "family oriented" so that the kiddies wouldn't get so scared. I still warned my 12yr old sisters to cover their eyes though. -I wish they would have elaborated on the Taboo thing. I had to explain it to my friend, and it should have been mentioned in themovie. It could have been a great scene. And correspondingly to that part, they should have elaborated on Potterwatch. I would have loved to hear the twins voice and heard some of the stuff. -I did NOT like how the new Dobby looked and sounded. I loved him in the other ones. He looked too fake. And they didn't do his death justice at all, I understand why people were laughing. It made me snigger, because i thought it was poorly played out. -I don't like the Harry/Hermione romance that was suggested. It makes it seem like Harry cant decide between Ginny and Hermione. They should have not ever added that dancing part. It was cute yes, but they pulled it out of the air. That never happened! -I think Snape is a huuuge part in this move (Deathly Hallows, as a whole) and they should have elaborated more on him. He's such a huge character. He's like a silent hero...or something similar. He's so very important to everything and they barelly said anything about him...
I know that all my requests and wants from the movie arent completely logical because of the time frame they have to work with, and they did pretty good with what they had. I applaude them for doing a great job and continuing to keep the faith in fans. The actors did a great job. I wrote alot, but I have tons more to say..but for now. My final comment, with my southern-ness showing: They have one last chance to git-r-done, hopefully they'll do it right!!!

lmao so true!! And that was sooo pronounced in this movie, methinks... I was kind of really annoyed, because, you know, his disappearing act after CoS. RIDICULOUS. How are people who haven't read the books supposed to understand Harry's pain?? "Why is he crying, he hasn't see Dobby in years!" they'll say "He should not be so attached!" Sad days. No SPEW

| Did you read the interview with Heyman, the producer? He mentioned that if something didn't directly pertain to Harry and his fight with Voldy, it was cut. Hence, no S.P.E.W. Apparently Heyman liked the concept of Hermione's attempted activist group, but since Harry never really cared about it, it wasn't important to the film. It makes sense. Film and book are two different media. There's no way they could make an interesting film that holds 100% true to the books. They would be incredibly boring. I was happy with how the last three films adapted the books. | |

| I havent seen this yet...I got tonsilitis the day BEFORE it came out. So that was a major blow...but I caved and read these and all I have to say is everything I was wanting...it sounds like its not there. - Spoiler:
Although I'm a Dramione shipper...Harry and Hermione in Amby siggy is just...so cute. My sister told me about the locket scence and how akward it was because she was with my friends. I totally think that scence is gonna be awesome when I actually see it. WHERE IS THE LETTER?!?! I wanted to know about that so much! That was something I was expecting....my sister told me about Kreacher and I asked if he was nicer towards Hermione and all and she was like I guess....I'm not sure...didnt seem like it. I asked about major points in the movie like the bone chair and all. I did ask about Shell Cottage and Dobby being burried and she said she didnt know about the Cottage...of course, she doesnt read Harry Potter so she doesnt know. Ohh...she told me the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! I really really hope so, because that was my favorite part in the book...well...the part where everyone starts running away XD
Also guys, I've had to go through here and put spoiler tags on stuff I think would be spoiling, even if it's innocence. Please try to remember to put these tags : )
