Do you have any suggestions for future care of magical creature classes?

If you do, post them here. If your suggestion is made into a class, you will recieve 10 housepoints!

there should be one where you can tell what everyday items for a whitch/wizard would have in it thats from a magical creature.
for exaple: unicorn hair are in wands

You'll pick a creature and have us name 20 reasons why this creature is important to the magical world. It could be 30 pts to do it right. And err yeah. Thats all I got

we could make an advertisement for selling a magical creature
say what it looks like and what it eats and how to take care of it

You could give us a list of magical creatures to pick from, and we can write an essay on our choice!

I like the idea of giving a student a magical creature from a list, but, how about doing it RP style and say having the student make a journal of taking care of the creature for a week. You know what you feed it, how you interact with it, ETC.!

What do you guys think?

A journal of taking care of a Magical Creature for a week and writing down your experience with it!

We could do a essay on House Elves since they do play a part in the wizarding world

I think we should write a creative story about being your favorite magical creature for a day. And explain what you did, what you ate, and what other creatures did you see or talk to. Just pretend like your that creature and write about what you did.

Okay this is what i thought:

some thing in the line of my daring's chamber, you'd assign for example a creature (baby born, a hurt creature) to everyone according to levels, that person'd have to make 30 post entries, either one everyday to make like a month diary or 30 entries but more time to realte the growth and take care of a creature

This is just a start you'll have to develop the idea xD

I was wondering if we could do a class in which we would choose a magical creature or two and explain how it affects the muggle world.

mabye an essay on is it right to tranfigure a animal?

I think that you should go with Matt's ideas. Write an essay on "transfiguring" is it right and /or fair to transfigure an animal?

I was thinking that there could be a challenge (like the challenge chamber) only There is one student from each house. But there would be a variety like it wouldn't just be people who are best with doing transfiguration stuff, or just people who know a lot of magical creatures. There would also be a lot of challenges. Maybe 20 challenges per say. The teachers would also decide who is with who (people could ask to be with someone but the teachers would have the final say. I hope you like my idea I will be posting it in several subjects because it would not just consist of DADA or Charms or Transfiguration ect.

I have a idea...

Part I
You have to write an extract from "Fantastical beasts and where to find them" about any magical creature you want! But it has to be pretty detailed and you could make somethings up if not a lot of information is known about them.
(100 marks)(Minimum of 500 words)

Part II
Write a piece of roleplay about how students might react to this creature if it was in their lesson. Also try to include its behaviour, what it looks like and try to think of a story why the students should learn about the creature.
(50 marks)(Minimum of 250 words)

Part III
Write a short plan of what you would want your students to do in a lesson where they are learning about this creature (eg. drawing parts of its body, trying to capture it, etc.).
(50 marks)(Minimum of 200 words)


So altogether thats 200 marks so its going to be a pretty lengthy thing!! Hope you like the idea!
