| Part Three ~*Creative Time*~ Now is the part of the homework where you are able to use your imagination. Create a wand tree that would be more powerful then the ones from the Harry Potter World. Don’t forget to state what it looks like, who is able to posses a wand from it, and where it would be located. If there is anything else you wish to state please do so. The more information you state, more points will be rewarded. It should be about 200 to 500 words. If you wish to supply a made up picture a bonus points apply. My wand tree is called PalmaNemus. It is a more modern wand than the other wands on the market. The PalmaNemus line is very popular in the wizarding areas near the equator. This wand gets its power from the small sprig of a palm tree. These palm trees are grown in a special wizard-run facility in the Caribbean. These palm trees are treated very carefully when grown, since the PalmaNemus Wand Company takes their wand making very seriously. The palm trees are watered in special Elvin spring water and then spend exactly 1 hour under a heated solar panel with heating and magic energy baking charms shining onto the tree each day. A single sprig from each palm tree is taken and used to make wands. Then, that tree is finished and a new batch of trees is grown. The wood used on the outside of the wand is the ‘bark’ that comes from the outside of the palm tree. Special care is also used on the bark. Along with the treatments listed in the paragraph above, the bark is sprayed with Elvin powder and then radiated with point-two energy light. To remove the bark from the tree, more special precautions are taken. First, a radiated energy light laser is used to carve the bark into squares. Then, the squares are gently lifted off the tree. The squares are rolled into the wand and smoothed out with smoothing charms. About ten to twelve squares can be taken from each tree. So about ten to twelve wands can be shaped from each tree, though each tree only produced one sprig for inside the wand. The discovery of magical powers inside the palm trees happened about 3 years ago, by renowned Herbologist Expert, Dr. Jupitz King of Panama. Dr. King discovered that if treated correctly, the palm trees could produce unbelievably powerful magic. Working together with Mr. Ollivander, King produced a wand, the PalmaNemus. The PalmaNemus wands come in different sizes and ratings. There are less powerful PalmaNemus wands, for the young wizards. Then there are the powerful, strong advanced PalmaNemus for the advanced wizards. No matter what wand you get, each PalmaNemus will always amaze you with its efficiency and modern effects. The PalmaNemus is currently the top ranking wand in the world. Known for its power and excellent magic, the PalmaNemus has over 30, 0000 wands out in the world at this time. The PalmaNemus has excellent reflexes to its owner’s thoughts. It connects with the owner’s mind and can produce the spell or charm desired, long before the command to produce the magic from the owner’s mind reaches the brain. Studies have shown that the PalmaNemus wand excels most well with time-connected charms. It has also been proven, that the PalmaNemus wand is more powerful than phoenix feather and mahogany wands, which until know have been the top two wands in the world. Several well known wizards who currently own a PalmaNemus wand include West Marake’, the Ministry of Magic head in the Pacific Ocean wizarding area, Fleur Delacour, and several of the Alaskan Wizarding Convention members. My wand tree is called the Necrinomical double edged sword tree. It stands a good 15 feet tall, with brittle looking black branches and no leaves grow except at the base near the trunk. It's both a tree with great powers of good and bad. It's good for those who are dark and sinister. A Dark Witch or Wizard can obtain a good amount of power as it caters to those of greedy intent. Those who are goody goody wizards though will be cursed forever if they touch the tree or a wand made from the tree. This means they can not pick up a Dark Witches or Wizard's wand safely. Only by a strong cleansing can the wand from the tree be held by those who are good. With its sinister nature it can only be found in cursed graveyards, or right in the middle of the Forbidden Forest. The power of the wand can call souls back from the dead, but only souls who were deemed as evil and malicious. If it summons a person who was good or nice, the wand will vibrate violently and the hand holding it will thus burst into flames and be burned within a matter of seconds into ashes. So it is highly advised that the good guys not get a hold of this as it would be disasterous. here is a pic of it.... Part 3: Arbos Medicamentum, commonly know as the Potions Tree, is only found in the depths of the Amazon rainforest. It can reach great heights, up to three hundred feet, and its roots extend deep and far under the earth. In fact, roots from an Arbos Medicamentum were once discovered nearly a mile away from the actual tree.
Its wood is difficult to procure, since it is so deep in the rainforest, but talented wizards can pinpoint the location of an Arbos Medicamentum quite easily if they use the proper spells. It is difficult to apparate into a rainforest as well, due to the denseness of foliage, and a wizard wishing to journey into the rainforest should decide on an apparition point before departure.
The tree has light brown, peeling bark, and its leaves are flat, broad and bright green. Its distinguishing feature are the electric blue berries which grow in clusters only on the topmost branches. The berries are sweet, and are usually not harmful, though some wizards have complained of slight allergic reactions. Some wizards claim that on the morning of the full moon, when they glow yellow, they have marvelous healing properties, though this has not yet been confirmed.
The wood from this tree is very malleable, and is always warm to the touch. It always seems to be trembling slightly, and will actually quiver if it senses danger. Wands made from the wood of Arbos Medicamentum are excellent for use in Potions, obviously. Indeed, certain potions can only be made with the help of an Arbos Medicamentum wand, and if a wizard or witch possess such a wand, they are immediately preferred for any job concerning potions making. Having an Arbos Medicamentum wand is the best reference for a witch or wizard interested in a future of Potion creation.
Of course, not just any witch or wizard can possess an Arbos Medicamentum wand. These wands only choose wizards extremely talented in Potions. Also, because of their ability to sense danger, the wands will never choose a wizard with a great chance of becoming dangerous. This puts Dark wizards at a bit of a disadvantage, although not all Dark wizards are so obviously Dark when they are children, so every once in a while there will be a Dark wizard with an Arbos Medicamentum wand.

Name: Drez-Morbiden, or Tree of Death and Doom Appearance: The Drez-Morbiden only grows into three "branches", and each branch ends with three leaves. The bark is crudely twisted, and appears brown in the daylight, and black at night. It is said that the tree glows with an eerie violet light on every full moon. The Drez-Morbiden's roots extend deep into the ground, as far as 10 meters. Growth: The Drez-Morbiden does not live on water, but instead the death of those who live in the vicinity of it. You would think that those people who live near it would move, but the Drez-Morbiden causes other plants to grow unnaturally well around it, whilst emitting a strange, nearly brainwashing aroma. This is what holds the civilians in place, until they die, and the tree feeds on them. Who Can Possess a Wand from this Tree: Only those who enjoy death and doom as much as this tree may possess a wand made from it. They must also be strong of heart, and truly ambitious. Location: Not many of these trees would exist, but they would be found in third-world nations, where growing food is still the main source of income. Such places would be poorer villages, and camps in the heart of woods. Other Information: It is said that the tree originated as a Dark Witch by the name Drez Semastlia. She killed many people, hundreds, every day, simply because she enjoyed doing so. She was very easily irritated, and was the cause of many destroyed homes, lives, and forests. Drez engaged in many fights with both witches and wizards, winning all of them. Once she eliminated a threat, she would take the bones from their body and craft them into tree-looking figures, topping them off with "leaves" of hair! The tallest was around 20 feet. Upon one particularly nasty fight between an unknown wizard, Drez fell and twisted her ankle. The wizard she was fighting felt sorry for her (or so she had believed), and carried her to her own lair within a cave nearby to rest. There he made her a meal, and secrectly added a poison (which is still nameless), and fed it to Drez. As soon as Drez ate, she was killed, her organs having been fried. The wizard escaped into the night, but not without seeing Drez reform into a monstrous figure. The Golden Oak TreeThe Golden Oak tree is not actually related to the more common oak tree. It more closely resembles a willow tree, with a slender trunk and long leaves. The trunk is a golden yellow colour, and the leaves are light green or light grey. It often grows lopsided, and looks as if it is going to fall over. The roots grow close to the surface, and you can sometimes see them above the surface. It is unusually tough, and has hard wood that is difficult to cut through. As such, wands made with Golden Oak wood are rare and valuable. People who possess it are often considered special or unique among their peers or among society. People who have Golden Oak wands are determined to get what they believe is right, and will fight for what they believe in. They are often leader figures- leaders of revolts, leaders of reform, ect. These people are often looked up to. Golden Oak wands are rarely, if never, owned by Dark Wizards. The Golden Oak tree is located in the tropics. There are many in South America, Africa, tropical islands, and such. They are mostly in rain forests, which explains why the Muggles haven't found them- they have not discovered a majority of the species of plants in the world's rain forests. Golden Oaks often grow in groups of two or three, and are usually secluded from other types of trees. Golden Oaks were discovered not by a scientist, but by an ordinary wizarding couple on vacation. True, Samuel Chaddix Slusher, one of the vacationers, had studied Herbology in school, and therefore knew that this was an undiscovered species, and therefore took pictures to send back to the Wizarding Institute of Magical Plants, situated in the United States. An expert team of plant collectors came and took samples of the tree as well as pictures and leaves from said tree. Back at the Institute, they found that not only had they discovered a new tree, they had discovered a new wand tree. My Sources---- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. | Part Three ~*Creative Time*~ The Banyan Tree The banyan tree, in Indian folklore, has always been a powerful symbol and a tree that has many uses. It would make sense that it could make a powerful wand too. Banyan trees that come from India have a very wide perimeter because of their aerial roots and they provide shade, fruit (figs) and a healing sap from the wide bark for anyone who needs it. I think that wood from the banyan tree would make the best wand for those who have shown an affinity for healing people or animals. It would be good for Charms and Transfiguration spells that are needed for healing and helping to create healing potions. Banyan trees would be dedicated in accessible and they should be very common because a healing quality should be easy to come by and available to everyone. The part of the tree used to make a wand is the new shoots. The banyan tree would have powers such that, like a phoenix, it gives up any number of shoots to the wand maker, because it can sense when the wand it is going to be a part of will choose a healing person. It would also have a defence mechanism in its great trunk and the massive roots and branches. The defence that it has, when someone tries to take extra wood for selfish reasons would be like the Whomping Willow…it would turn into the Beating Banyan. If someone was trying to attack or cut down the tree, it would release a poisonous gas that would kill the attacker instantly. This is what the wand would look like with the Banyan tree wood and the vines and pressed berries that have healing properties if smelt: Sources: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/wands.htmlhttp://www.the-tree.org.uk/BritishTrees/yew.htmMy head and Story books. | |

| Part Three ~*Creative Time*~ The most powerful wand tree of all is the Dalanyen Tree, or better known as Delicate Strength Tree. This tree is perfect for curses as well as healing spells. It’s main weakness is Transfiguration while it’s strength is Charms and Potions. This is the tree that many unicorns and phoenixes come to die, or in a phoenixes case get reborn. This causes all the magical beings of these creatures to get absorbed by the tree and its roots. As a result, this tree is unbreakable and will work for spells up to ten times its strength. Yet this tree is not easy to look for, which is why its so rarely made as wands. It only grows in high mountaintops that lay deep in the clouds, with roots so long and deep it reaches out into the sea. It can only grow in environments of high humidity, damp air, yet cold winds. Since this narrows it down, there are only one tree in existence today. If people do achieve to get this wand from this tree, it will choose it’s master. If it does not agree with the spells and personality of it’s owner, it will slowly dull and die. Turning it into a regular old stick wand that rusts over time. It is a large willow like tree with golden- pink blossoms that shine and can be seen miles away. Since it is in the clouds, many times it is mistaken for the sun. It looks very delicate and weak, yet cannot be bent, cut, or broken by any regular man made item or spell. A branch can only be broken off one at a time by a powerful Cututhis Sephum spell. Only taught in Highly Advanced charms. Picture Source- http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/wands.html, yahoo images | |

| Creative Part: The tree I have created is called “L’Arbre De Pouvoir”, which translates as “the tree of power”. It is an ancient tree, which grows only in Northern France, and is used by French wand makers only. It is a very large tree, sometimes reaching 50 feet in size, with wide sweeping branches and dark green leaves. Its bark is rough and does not come off easily, and it is the wood of the tree just beneath the surface that the wands are created from. The tree sheds its leaves in the Autumn, however they do not change colour, remaining green all year around. The wands created from this tree take a lot of time to make, and can only be formed by the most skilled of craftsmen. They can only contain cores of phoenix feathers, as these are the most powerful centres. The wands created from this tree will be very expensive, upwards of 200 Galleons, and so only the very wealthy can buy them. However, once every ten years, a wand is produced from this tree which surpasses all others in power and elegance, and this is given away to a member of the wizarding population in a sweepstake draw. These trees have been used for wands since the 1600’s, when the first tree of its kind reached its full height. The tree’s can only grow in Northern France, if they are planted anywhere else, they will wilt and die and the person who planted it will suffer from bad luck for the remainder of their life. (Sry lol i just didn't feellike answering all thouse other questions lol) Les chênes de neige, or when translated into English the Snow Oaks. The one and only tree besides the pine trees, unknown to man that can survive in the heavy snow fall of winter. In fact, it cannot last at all if there is no snow. The pale white bark blends the trees with its surroundings making it extremely hard to find. In truth when it was first discovered, the explorer had actually run into the tree, before finding it stand before him. What he saw amazed him. You could tell that it was magical as soon as you glace at it, its fine leaves and stems glistened in the morning light. But these are not your ordinary green leaves and stems. They were transparent like ice. People, who receive this type of wood in their wands, are more or less exactly alike to the bark that makes up their wands. People think that they are antisocial and mean, but they just like to spend time alone. They seem icy, cold, dark, and mysterious. But there like everyone else just waiting their turn to be accepted, except they seem to stay frozen on the wall of Invisibility. Before I sadden you so that when you receive a white oak wand you’ll scream, there are good side affects of this certain type of wand wood. Your powers are enhance to mesmerize other people to do your will. Where as people are already scared of you, but this increase their fear of angering you. Also when ever you wish to turn invisible, your wish is finally granted. The magical, extremely powerful, wand is also tremendously hard to find. It is rarely found in the northern arctic regions, its birthplace. But the only reason why is it rarely found, is because it so hard to find, it has also been discovered recently that this amazing wand tree is found in the southern arctic regions as well. Magic wand makers all over the glob are try to find a way to enhance it power with out having the social butterflies left out of all the fun. | ~Part 3: Creative Time~ Immortalis imperium…the most powerful wand tree known to wizard kind. The appearance of the tree is rather foreboding. With bark as black as coal and leaves, some as red as fire and others of the finest silver, the tree often appears as if it were ablaze, keeping most visitors away. There are few trees known to exist in the world, but the two known imortalis imperium trees are located in the deepest depths of the Himalayans, another factor which keeps most away. The discoverer of the tree is one Demetri Romanoff, a known Dark Wizard and member of Voldemort’s inner circle in his better years. The only wizards able to possess such a wand are Dark Wizards with a hunger for power, which is a wonder why Voldemort didn’t come by such a wand. The bearer of such a wand is not only power hungry, but eventaully is driven to madness from poession of the wand. This is why: the bark of the imprtalis imperium tree is, in a sense, toxic. The bark itself acts almost like the Imperius Curse, slowly taking over the user’s mind and driving him to take power wherever he can…and madness. The bark and leaves of this tree are also often used in powerful potions not known to most wizards. Wands as such are only available from Romanoff himself in a shop hidden away in a cave in the Himalayan Mountains where he makes them himself. Most commonly the wands have a stand of Thestral hair, the tooth of an Acromantula, or a snipping from a Dementor’s cloak, all of which are obtained by Romanoff himself and which have earned him quite a few battle scars over the years. The only known wizards to possess a wand made from the imortalis imperium tree are Romanoff and his son, Damien who attempted to overthrow a group of Voldemort’s Death Eaters and resulted in his death by the Avada Kedvra curse. http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/wands.htmlhttp://www.the-tree.org.uk/BritishTrees/yew.htm | |

Part Three ~*Creative Time*~ The Abel Tree, the most powerful tree in the world. Many wandmakers refuse to use it because of how horrible the tree powers are. Most people who use this brilliant tree, however, use it with caution. Only two have ever been in existence, each used for evil. The Abel tree grows in Russia, only around small bodies of water, lakes or ponds and sometimes creeks. The Abel tree, which is red, only works with a veela hair or mermaid hair. Most wand makers try to push every wand on a person before ever letting one try the Abel tree wand. The characteristics for an Abel tree wand are evil, rejections, fear, or death. It may be as powerful as the Elder Tree wand, which is the only wand that has ever been made from the elder tree and thestral hair. The first person to use this wand was Marcus Alder, who was born in the 1200’s. He was a Ravenclaw, who was destined for greatness until his parents were killed by a group of muggles in search for gold. Marcus promised to revenge his parents and thus, the first person to use this wand was Marcus, who killed millions of muggles. However, he was not recorded into history for this wand. Most people try to forget this wand was ever made. Alzelda, however, was a muggle born who wished to be a pureblood. With her wand, she killed many purebloods in hopes of using their blood to become just as powerful. Her own wand rebounded on her, killing her after four years at large.
