CHATTING: 10th Anniversary Celebration Common Room

I thought I'd pop my head back in and say hi.

I received the email earlier today about the ten year celebration in a very apt place, whilst I was at the Harry Potter studios tour. It made me smile at the random coincidence, especially as I had forgotten the date on which HE was formed despite being there for the beginning!

Amy!!! And to think 10 years ago you were Duck the Duck! Glad you popped by!

Hmmm... What's that you say? The house with most people chatting will get points?

Yep, that's right, even chatters can win points this time around :p

I'm not only chatting this time around! (Although, no promises because I have the attention span of Lockhart...)

I almost missed the anniversary and I'm terrible. Wow. I can't believe it's been 10 years. We all used to be so small.

I haven't been here the whole ten years... but I have been here for almost seven! So... I was 15?

15 is small too! And 7 years is such a long time. The site used to be so different looking. And of course more active, growing up is bad for that.

Agreed. That stupid adulting thing takes a lot out of a kid. 

(Also, SUPER jealous that you are going to Disney World...AGAIN)

And it'll probably be the last time I go for a while Or well, maybe, we'll see. We can't seem to stay away. The plan is to wait at least until 2018 I think

Is it taunting Rai for being old time? Cause he is pretty ancient. Some say as ancient as time itself.

Also, holy crap I can't believe the site is that old already. Which means next year is my 10 year mark for having joined. And now I am being hit with a blast of nostalgic emotions.

Hey if Rai is ancient I am two months more ancient :p

I miss fandom and the literal HOURS I's spend on it. Now I'm so tired after work it's all I can do to feed myself before falling asleep :p

Also, I totally feel you. I used to just spend so much of my time on fandom stuff and now I am basically always tired and worn out from schooling.

As I said before I'll keep this running until you're all old and retired and able to return. XD

I feel ya all too. Growing up is the worst because we don't have time like we used to. Luckily, I'm sure Rai will keep running things until we're old

Things are generally quite busy :3 this has been my first weekend with no commitments in ages. I've graduated uni though! I saw Disneyland two years ago! I've got a banana for breakfast!

How is everything with you guys?

You've both succeeded in making me feel horrible for not getting enough points for Gryffindor. I'll get on it soon though! 

Peter and I decided we're going to elope instead of have an actual wedding. Mostly due to the fact that his parents have made sure we both know how much they hate me.... Which is silly because I feel like I'm a pretty good person and easy to get along with. But that's my news!

(Also, Rai... I just noticed that you said confy couches  )

No one needs to worry, we'll come back victorious!

And you went to Disneyland, Mel? That's awesome! I want to go sometime, though I've been to Disney World a few times.

Eloping can be great Caitee, Marie and I basically eloped although her parents were there, but as long as you're happy that's all that matters. It is sad his parents don't seem to like you, but parents can be stupid like that.

If you and Marie go to Disneyland we can use it as an excuse for us to finally meet in person! I live hours away, but it is easy for me to get to and I need to make up for my last and only Disneyland trip.

I went to both Disneyland and Disney World when I visited the states two years ago :3 But I didn't get nearly enough time in Disney World so I'll go back one day!

Eloping is much cheaper anyway, Caitee Think of the awesome holiday you can go on instead!
