You Know You are Obsessed with Harry Potter/HE when...

Hey there, it's your RDE(Resident Death Eater) with a new fun game for us all to play!
(I've seen different variations of the You know you on other sites about other topics)

The rules are you have to put something related to Harry Potter/and or the HE in this game. You come up with stuff like you tell everyone basically about how to spot HP obsessed people and how you can tell when someone has been too obsessed haha.


It's called 'You Know You Are Obsessed With HP When... (YKYAOWHP)-

Some examples--

YKYAOWHP when you wake up in the middle of the night rubbing your forehead thinking it is burning

YKYAOWHP when you shout 'Expecto patronum' at you own shadow

YKYAOWHP when you hear popping and think it's someone apparating.

YKYAOWHP when you call 'Gandalf' Dumbledore while watching Lord of the Rings

YKYAOWHP(HE) when you see purple Hippos in your dreams

YKYAOWHP(HE) when you first jump online and go straight to the HE site (I do this haha)

Your teacher gives you a problem in math and tells you to make it into a story problem and you say "Ollivander had twelve wands and sold 3/4 of them how many dose he have left?" (lol actually the question was alot harder and I compared chocolate frogs)

You see a murderer holding a knife in a movie and you shout, "Expelliarmus!"

You buy a rat and try to make it transform into a human.

You freak out after seeing anything remotely Harry Potter.

You cut out peices of cardboard, paint them, then when you go to the store you take out the cardboard pieces and ask the sales guy and ask him how much that'll be in galleons, sickles and knuts.

You move your bedroom to the closet under the stairs.

your parents make you move your computer to the living room so they can keep you off of harry potter web sites and keep you working on homework

* When all your friends are talking of the latest chart music and you are listening to 'can you dance like a hippogriff'

You saw the HP movie, your friends caught you practicing wrist movements with Prof. Flitwicks class. (SWISH AND FLICK MAN!!)

You brought your copy of Quidditch Through the Ages to the movie and kept shouting at Madam Hooch that the Slytherins were fouling. (dirty rotten...)

You are a penpal with your cousin in New Jersey (who's 11...) and each time you write a letter, you say how many times you've read the book. If s/he's read it more than you, you quickly read it again.

You tell your Dad repeatedly that you don't have his Electric Tape, you have Speelo-tape you bought from Diagon Alley. (:D)

You're sitting in English class reading the assigned work, see the word manor and immediately thin Malfoy Manor.
You stop doing your work in English to write down a reminder in your HW book to post this in HE
You have tons of HW to do but come online to check your mail from HE
You're in the middle of research but you just want to 'pop in' to the HE chat just fora sec
HE is the first web page you open when you connect

..."five minutes" on the HE site or any other HP site is 2 hours for you.

...you have written down in which time zone your friends are in from the site (i've only done that to Blizzy, cuz she's my lover and i need to know where she's at lol)

...you actually look at the clock and think what your friends on the site might be doing in their time while you sit in class and get bored, for example.

...someone asks you what you think about Harry Potter, you instantly start to babble every theory you know about the books, leaving the one who asked confused since he/she just wanted to know if you like Harry Potter :D

..you brag to everyone how you're "Most Like Ginny" on a HP site

...you suggest a Harry Potter theme for your next girl scout party

...you make your friends discuss their opinions on the movies during lunch and ask if THEY would mind an intermission in between a really long movie.

You say you'll be on and off in a miute but you stay on for four more hours.

You spend half your day staring at your computer screen.

you are always talking about HP and all the amazing people on HE that your friends have to remind you constantly that there is no such thing as magic. And that your not at your computer.
