Mime 1: Severus Snape

The stage is an empty and dark, except for one chair, placed in the middle of the stage. There is no sound.

Snape walks on to the stage in complete silence, dressed in the costume above. He turns and faces the audience and silently uses sign language, (a form of mime known across the world) to introduce himself.





Snape clicks his fingers, a huge sign falling from the ceiling, narrowly missing him. The sign completed the introduction.

(Sign language reads 'Mime by' and picture reads 'severus snape' two forms of art brough in to mime!)

Snape goes to move from his spot on the floor, but falls backwards. An 'invisable' barrier has stopped him. Snape feels around and mimes the shape of a huge box surrounding him. Suddenly, he breaks into a mime-dance in the confines of his 'box', his legs magically lifting him from the ground and up the sides of the 'box', flipping in the air and landing on the top of the 'box'
