Tardis'ites (Dr Who Club) : Leader: Rose

Welcome to the Official Dr. Who club of the Hogwarts Experience and I dont know about you, but this is one of the best clubs! We can put everything into this club and get loads of housepoints :D

Also, we need to try to keep the club organised and tidy :x though it may also bring us more housepoints.

First i better get my leader job out of the way and put the main list of members here which then allows you all to post i think!

Woohoo!! Yay for Doctor Who!! I think the first thing we want is - apart from the already cool name - a banner, perhaps? *looks meaningfully around* XD

hang on, clear one thing up for me, is this just a David Tennant AS Doctor Who club, or is it a Doctor Who club?

Im not being fussy, i love DT just as muh as everyone else, but if this is a Doctor Who club shouldnt we acknowledge the other Doctors?

Wow, Doctor who fanfics, cool! Has anyone read any of the Doctor who books? I've read the stone rose (which is REALLY good) and I'm hoping to read the feast of the drowned (or it might be damned...I forget) and the resserection casket.

I haven't read any of the books? are they with David as the doctor - have they brought out books for him yet?

I've seen some books with David as the Doctor and i've read a couple with Troll face, i just cant remember which, haha.

Oh and yay Dr Who fanfics! i never thought to even look for any lol! My bf says there are a couple of Doctor Who rpg sites as well but he'll have to get the links later when i let him on the computer.

EDIT: During many of my intense Doctor Who message board readings i come across some bizarre rumours (i especailly loved the 'true reason behind Billie's exit') but not once have i went oh and this is why:

Anyone else thinking what i'm thinking? That DT will stay with the beeb as the Doctor because he still has one thing left to achieve ... David Tennant has always said he wants to be the first naked Doctor :cheers: so maybe the beeb will say, "oh alright David get your kit off and leg it down the street while millions of girls perve over your skinny white bum." To which David would reply, "90% of them have seen much more." *is dreaming again* ANYWAY i want David to stay. And no its not becvause he is hot, sexy, big downstairs but because if the tv shoe is to follow the orginal books like they did years ago, there is only 13 doctors. So far we've had what 10, 11? I keep forgetting which. But needless to say, i can see Doctor Who running for a LONG time now they have younger, better looking doctors who well, entertain a whole new generation (i'd like to point out that although Troll face was a doctor he doesnt fall under the catergy of better looking doctors.)

Anyway, back to doctorwho, lol, I hope he doesn't leave, I think He's been the best doctor I've known. I just hope the new assistant is a good enough standard for Davi tennant to work with, lol

whats the dealio with the doctor being a father??? I am so vair vair confuggled. Because since that episode i cant help but think, if the doctor had a child then he had a wife, which would have meant there were time ladies bbut were they all called the doctor or were the women called the nurses *is many thoughts running through this peanut brain i have flipped.*

Yeah, the father thingy confused me a lot too... I wonder if we'll find more during the next season... even though I might just not want to watch it cause I don't like the new assistant *mumbles* but then again, I just love David too much lol.

Oh and I found out it is playing here. On Tuesday, at midnight. Ha. I'll have to record it. Anyway. It's playing in french too ^^ and the translation voices are not that bad, even though I prefer original voices *dreamy sigh*

According to the Daily Star, at the end of the next series, featuring David Tennant and new sidekick Freema Agyeman, the Doctor will reveal that he has a son somewhere in the universe.

A source told the tabloid: “Everyone knows that Time Lord’s have 13 lives and then that’s it, they finally die. Since there are only two regenerations left, the BBC need a plan to make sure the show can carry on.

“So the only way to stop Doctor Who from being killed off completely is by bringing on a successor. Last year it was hinted that the Doctor had a child following a doomed love affair with someone from a forgotten planet.”

There are already some Doctor Who offspring floating around the cosmos; William Hartnell, who played the first Doctor in 1963, was accompanied by his grand daughter Susan…so where are his children now?

Could there be a huge reunion next series perhaps????


Now that is one to make us think. Of course i wasnt alive in 1963 concidering my mum was only 3 but i want to know more. The plot for Doctor who's son would be cool, i mean really brilliant considering as the article states, Doctor who will run forever. And we know that Captain eek! Jack will be returning at the end of the series 3 so could Captain Jacks return bring us news of the Doctors son? And am i the only one who, when at the end of Doomsday, rose tells the Doctor theres 5 of them, her, mickey her parents and the baby he asks 'you're not?' was there something in his eyes which made anyone else other then me think, what on earth has he been up to in that Tardis with Rose??? I think i'll leave it there.

the first Doctor who in 1963 had a granddaughter called susan ... and i sure i read somewhere he has more kids then sense littered across the universe but John, bless his cotton socks, told me that even if the Doctor had a son, he couldnt be the next doctor/time lord.

In one of the christopher Eccelston episodes The Doctor actually said he had(or has) a son (or daughter, can't remember) At the time not many people thought about it much. Me and my friend always wanted them to go into more detail about this child.

Yeah well... if he had a granddaughter in 1963, except if his son has the regenerative power he has (which I doubt since... the Doctor is suposed to be the last one, isn't he?) he's probably dead by now... Making quick maths, he'd have been born around 1938. I mean he could still be alive, but I doubt the producer would focus their story on the 85 years old son of the Doctor lol..

You people know too much for your own good. *looks pointedly at Ettie* You know, if the Doctor DID have a son/daughter/child, it wouldn't be the same.... I mean, they wouldn't be The Doctor, would they? They'd have a NAME. *faints from shock* XD

Hmm.. you know, for the new assistant (blah) I think they did a wrong choice by casting the one they did... not that I say she's a bad actress or anything, I can't judge her as I've never seen her except in Army of Ghost. <--- But that's the problem! I mean... to me, when I'll see this new assistant, I'll think: Isn't she suposed to be dead?! It'll be too weird... It's like.. if Robert Pattinson came back in OotP as Ernie McMillan!

anyway, I've heard that the new assistant (what exactly is her name?) is a good actress...I don't think BBC would cast a bad actress for such a big roll! What do we know about this new assistant? Do we know where she is going to come from? Do we know her name in the programme? I just like to know these thins.

We know her name is Martha, but that's about it...there'll probably be spoilers soon though, as they're filming the new series.

She's called Martha Jones - way to go for picking a name, I say XD It sounds *boring*, to be quite frank. The actress is... A... something.... Freeman. She is a good actress, yes, but... what Marie said. Seriously, I won't be able to think of her as the new assisstant. She'll be the cyber-woman-person.

yeh, I think that's a bit...weird. I'm sure we'll be able to manage though. With someone like David tennantalso occupying the screen we'll be hooked!

Well in an interview in Doctor Who Magazine (which i highly recommend). Martha says "I was talking to one of the guys on the show: he said, 'I know certain things, i know how she comes about and how it's explained that you were in Episode 12 as a different character..."
So her appearing before shouldn't be such a problem.

Well, actually, as Ducky said whilst we were talking, there could be an explanation. And, Amy being as she is, the idea, I say, is very intelligent.

Basically, the cyber-woman-person-Martha is that person in THEIR world; in the one where Rose dies. But in the parallel world, where Pete is still alive; the one Rose goes to, she could be Martha Jones! XD

I was watching the 1st series of Doc Who earlier and even though Eccelston was a great docotr I must say David is MUCHO better! (no offence to eccleston)

When the new series of Doc Who came and I saw eccelstons acting I thought he was a GREAT doctor, but when David tennant came along I was just amazed by his acting and hotness!!!).
