Ive never seen crossroads, but im not looking forward to the first episode as much as normal because the girl in the wedding dress really ruined the end of the last episode

Whaa?? Catherine Tate ruin something?! How does that one work?? Nah, I'm looking forward to the Christmas ep, it's got Catherine Tate in it :P But yeah, Rose rocked! I had a very interesting conversation with my school's nurse today about the new assisstant... she was wondering how on earth I knew who she was going to be... XD

I have to agree with Charmed - the bride turning up at the end of the last episode completely ruined it.

And I hate hate hate Catherine Tate (hehe that rhymes), so whilst I'm looking forward to the xmas ep because, well, it's Dr Who - I'm not looking forward to it because she'll be in it.

On another topic, all of series two is being repeated on BBC3 this week and next, so I'm DVDing all of the episodes :D It was The Girl in the Fireplace tonight lol.

I can't believe I misseded it!!! However, it is on my compyputer, so I can watch it any time!! :D

I was watching the rerun last night, The Satan Pit, and was looking at the Devil, and thought... 'It looks like Voldemort'. Lol. I don't know why. Like, the nose isn't a nose, and the face shape is that pointy kinda oval shape, and it really does look like Voldie....

Yeah aaanyway.... shall I or shall I not watch Love and Monsters tonight? I seriously think that that ep is horribly awful. Peter Kay or not.

I'm going to DVD it - I want the complete series lol. And I don't think it was that bad - not up to the usual standard of Dr Who by far, but infinitely better than most drivel you get on TV nowadays.

Drivel?? One does not call X Factor drivel, Amy dearest. But that's another story. Btw, when does Torchwood start??? My Saturdays are SO not gonna be free.... I wanna watch Robin Hood too!!! :P

Torchwood I think is rumoured to start the 21st October, or something.

I is excited! Are they any like ideas about the storyline behind Torchwood? I think I read somewhere (probably courtesy of Amy and the BBC) that it was Captain Jack's... adventures... of some sort... involving Torchwood.... meep.

Well, from what I've heard, it's going to be a sort of X-Files type show. Here's something I saw on imdb:

I saw that on the BBC 3 Autumn programming release DVD, along with other BBC 3 programs for the fall.

This is what someone saw on the press-release trailer. By "Doctor from Aliens of London", I'm presuming they mean the woman who was in charge of investigating the pig thing when it woke up, if you remember her.

The BBC are postponing a lot of their programs, so dont get to excited about Torchwood. Guy at the shop i work at said it may not start until the end of Novemeber.

Yeah I heard that it may have been postponed, but at imdb someone said that that was just a rumour, and may not effect Torchwood.

lmao imdb is justa giant rumour *huggles imdb* i still love it though. I guess we'll just have to keep checking tv mags etc to see when its on. But you'd think they'd start advertising about now would you?

Yeah, I would have thought so...I mean, there was the press release that I posted earlier, for Autumn programming, but that could be anything from now until Christmas. Oh well, it'll be on when it's on lol.

I bought a magazine today and there was an article about Billie, and this part caught my eye:

Now I know celebrity magazines aren't the most reliable source, but they have to get their info from somewhere...right?

So could this mean Rose is going to make an appearance in the Christmas Special?

Technically, the X-Mas special is neither part of series two or three (although IMDB has it listed as Episode 0), so (Marie said this btw lol), maybe it's counted as series two and she was contracted to do it?

I hope this rumour is true and we will see Rose in the Christmas ep!

Well i'm not sure how reliable Russel thingy is you know the creater, but he said Billie WOULDN'T be in the xmas episode.

But i hope he is lying because i'd love to see Rose one last time, but then again,, it would ruin the way series 2 ended, for me anyway.

Maybe whatever part she's in... indeed, if she is,.... maybe it's a flashback? So technically she'll have shot those scenes already, and isn't *really* in the ep.... :P

Is the Christmas episode part of a season in particular or is it just... one random episode which they have to sign for? Because let's say it's part of the second season and Billie Piper signed for the second season, she won't have the choice to appear in it, she signed for it...

Becky has just informed me that she saw a bus today with an advert on the side for Torchwood - and the air date for the first episode is the 22nd October.

I saw the bus!!!! My friend and I were walking out of school and there was this bus and it said Torchwood - 22nd October!!! :D We jumped up and down for joy and her boyfriend stared at us weirdly :D

Question: Who is THE best bad guy of new the series? Discounting Daleks and Cybermen.

I heard it was about vampires too. And the best bad guy? Hmm...well definitely not Absorbaloff, he was kind of...lame. And sans Daleks and Cyberman that leaves us with:

-Sycorax
-Cassandra
-Werewolf and the weird monks
-Tony Head and his bat people
-Mechanical dudes on the Pompidour spaceship
-The Wire
-The Ood and The Devil
-That thing that made the girl draw everyone

Hmm...I'm going to have to say Cassandra, because she's vindictively evil, but also funny. New Earth was a great episode :D

The Ood and the Devil were just... scary. XD Well, as scary as this series got. Lol Absorbaloff was the funny because it's lame episode hehe. I watched it again, and it was rather amusing because it made me think that they wanted to give Peter Kay something that was funny... so it was lame.... XD

Mechanical dudes on the Pompidour ship were cool!! There was a genius behind whoever thought of that idea :D

And now I'll stop because I wanna watch the girl who drew people....

So who watched Torchwood? I thought the first two episodes were great - definitely looks like it's going to be good. Pity the series is so short though...

It's a LOT more risqué than Dr Who, but good nonetheless - it's good to see Captain Jack back!

One thing that's interesting is Gwen. The actress who's playing her played Gwyneth, the girl in the third episode of Series One (The Unquiet Dead). There's been no effort to change her accent, she's recognisable as Gwyneth, and the names sound the same. Gwyneth's episode was all about the rift - in Torchwood Cap'n Jack and his gang work beneath the rift in Cardiff.

I don't think that's a coincidence, I wonder if it'll be explained...?

There's also an upcoming episode called "Cyberwoman", and I'm wondering if this has to do with Tracy-Ann Oberman's character who got turned into a cyber-person in Doomsday.

EDIT: It was the TV awards last night, and Doctor Who won a fair few! Most Popular Drama, Most Popular Actor for David Tennant and Most Popular Actress for Billie Piper.

it was reported yesterday in the News of the World (i think) that the Daleks are to appear in epies 5 and 6 of the new series after, wait this bit is funny, travelling back in tim,e to 1930s New York.

Now if they were destroyed in the last 2 series, how on earth can they travel backwards in time????

Seriously it makes me laugh. And as much as i adore Captain Jack, ive missed the last 2 epies of Torchwood. ANd i wasnt hooked by the first 2.

They WEREN'T destroyed, that's the point. Remember the black one did an 'emergency temporal shift' or whatever the heck it was.... :P

I just watched last night's Torchwood episode - and I think it's my favourite of the series so far. It was quite spooky and a little disturbing, but it was on the fantasy side of things, which might be why I liked it a bit more than the previous episodes.

The ending was sad though, Poor Cap'n Jack having to make that decision then all his colleagues disapproving...

But yes, it was a great episode.

And Lisa's right, the black one escaped.

You could have at least told me to close my eyes or something.... XD
