Welcome to the newest forum within the Hogwarts Experience

Here artists, banner makers, and so on can show off their work and also offer to create banners and avatars, blinkies and any other graphics to other members as well as entering in the numerous challenges set.

Those offering to make banners etc for others

Please open a new thread in the tutorial and requests subforum which will be yours :D Show of examples of your work and specify whether you would be prepared to take requests.

If you already had a post within the main community, I have closed them and sent them to the filing cabinet, so I am afraid you will have to make a new post

Post your request in the post of the artist. Please remember to give the following information:

Tutorials

Duck the duck (Amy) hosts many tutorials in the tutorial subforum which you can try out for yourself.

If you have a tutorial which hasnt be covered, feel free to create one, though please take a look at how Amy's are done to ensure a proper tutorial

GRAPHICS TOURNAMENT RULES

Welcome to the first graphics tournament of HE. Here you will find exactly how the tournament will work and how many housepoints are avaliable. The tournament will be beginning shortly. As soon as you see the groups you are in then you can begin! (groups will be posted in rounds post here in the graphics forum)

How it will work

There will be different rounds in which you will be paired off or in groups. You will find your groups/pairs for each round in the scores and rounds thread found in the main part of the graphics forum.

For each round, you will be given the task of creating a few graphics (graphics tasks set in main thread) which will then be pm'ed to Elfie Dumbledore or Duck the Duck and put up for the vote anonymously.

After each round, the member/s with the lowest vote count on their graphics will be knocked out of the competition.

Housepoints avaliable

Each member taking part will recieve a certain amount of housepoints. The longer you stay in the competition, the more housepoints you will gain.

Those in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will also gain the following extra housepoints: (edited for fourth term)

1st: 1000 housepoints
2nd: 700 housepoints
3rd: 500 housepoints

Please note: graphics challenge points have now been raised to the following (although this is subject to change depending on type of challenge)

1st place: 200 housepoints
2nd place: 150 housepoints
3rd place: 100 housepoints

All others who enter: 50 housepoints
