they're so meant to be, and they'll be together no matter what...

I try to not say too much against Harmione/Dramione/Drinny/Runa (unless we're debating in chat) and all of those ships because you all know that I love Canon and loathe those other ships. So yes, we know you hate Romione, but there's really nothing you can do to change our minds, hehee.

it is so ucky and bleh and the only thing lower then Romione at the moment is Dramione.... but still my bottom 3 are Hinny, Romione and Dramione in that order....

The way Ron and Hermione act remind me of the way my brother and I act, always fighting. So really Romione is like saying I ship me/kammy and if you'll exuse me I think I'm going to be sick

Its just they can't last even if they did get together because they'd just fight all the time and it wouldn't be worth it

They fight way too much to have a lasting love. Harry and Hermione are much better suited for eachother. I say pair Ron up with Pansy!

See, I probably wouldn't get so wound up by this if people would actually give me a proper reason for hating Harmony. Other than "It's like sleeping with your brother." That isn't a reason, and it can be applied to Ron as well.

Well I was expecting something a little more in depth, and maybe a reason for hating Harmony as opposed to reasons why you think H/G will happen, but never mind.

Geekie, explain why H/G is sweeter than H/Hr. Ginny wasn't even a real character in the books until OotP, apart from being a plot device in CoS. Harry and Hermione have six books full of interaction, of building friendship and affection to draw off. They respect each other's ideas and abilities, and they've been the ones who have done the most important, critical aspects of the books together (arguably - Hermione giving Harry the courage to go on in PS at Snape's riddle, Harry finding Hermione's research in CoS while he's at her bedside, Hermione and Harry rescuing Sirius in PoA, Hermione sticking by Harry and teaching him the accio charm in GoF, Hermione and Harry leading Umbridge into the forest in OotP). Aside from Harry/Dumbledore of course.

And as for your comments about the lead guy getting the girl, think about it in this way. Perhaps the story isn't about the guy getting the girl, but about the brainy, socially inept, loyal girl getting the hero, as opposed to the popular, sporty, pretty girl. I think that's more romantic, to be honest.

As for those Potter men liking redheads, sure. Lily/James is canon, as was Harry/Ginny. Briefly. And represented as hormonal indulgence that made Harry neglect his duties.

Okay, lets just say this is the intended ship that everyone thinks will happen. but in the end Hermionie will die and no one will get her. Muwahahaha!!!!!!!I'm so evil. no JK I think ron desers the girl for once...

That's a pretty dismal outlook

Well, lets see. I just don't like Harry and Hermione together. Harry has more of a hero-ish personality, which needs a strong-minded girl to be able to put up with his moods. Hermoine is a great friend and is comforting, but it has been mentioned several times in the books that Harry often finds her comforting annoying. Ginny is more strong than Hermione- if Harry gives her sass, she snaps right back. I think Harry respects that in her.

But since this is a Romione thread, I won't go into Hinny... but Ron needs someone to guide him as he's rather confused most of the time. If Ron was with Luna, he'll probably end up even more confused. Hermione is the girl for him.

I think they can make a good couple.They are sometimes argueing,fighting, not talking to each other for a while and even jealous!!!!But,they just look great together and their acts just fit a lot!
