Draco/Hermione

I'm shocked someone's not started a thread on this yet. You, Kitty, of all people, should be somewhat enthusiastic

I'm not obsessed with this ship, but I'm all for it. What draws me to it is the fact that it's forbidden. It's the whole 'opposites attract' thing, and I guess I go with that - while Draco's the bad boy (yes, I like bad boys ), Hermione's this good little girl who's never stepped out of her moral bounds except for when she's with Harry and/or Ron. Someone different for a change then.

I know some of you here are all for it. Some, not so much (*cough* Planty*cough*).. Darn, I actually coughed then. But hey, tell me what you think!

I'm an adamant Dramione shipper. I love the ship. There's so much oppurtunities in it! Yes, the forbidden is really good, and I hadn't even thought of the pairing before I started reading fanfiction. Some people can pull it off so well, and that's where the stories turns brilliant (kitty, for example. And crystalclear). It's either flip or flop in that pairing.


You who does not agree with me and lisa, look my 'your pairing' thread up, and tell me what you ship. I want to know what makes other pairings appeal to you :albino:





DRAMIONE FOR TEH WIN

I've never really liked Draco/Hermione, mainly because I don't like Draco as a character. Whilst it's impossible in canon, it's interesting to read in fanfictions.

Draco/Hermione aren't my regular ship, but I love reading fics about them.

I do like reading everything D/Hr. I'm not addicted, no, but it's interesting, like I said before.

Dramione is interesting - I'm getting used to Draco being a good person at heart...

But to be honest...it doesn't grab me...I can live with it and some people (kitty, swift...don't know anymore) write it well...but hermione belongs with ron...for the same reasons as why she could be with Dr...because of their frequent fights.

But Hermione/Ron fight more than D/Hr.

Draco and Hermione is just weird - they would never get together, though i have read a few fan fictions of the ship in them and because of the good writing skills, it kind of works, but i so wouldnt say that this couple would be good

Dramione is soooo believable! Everyone knows jo wont have dramione its obviously gonna be romione but Dramione dose work and it makes alot of sense....

Dramione is one pairing that is ALWAYS interesting to read about. Like Romance said its a pairing that does make sense if you think about it. I dont really write about that pairing so far, but it is a pairing that I like.

i like herminone/ draco i think its because of the reli gd stories about them to i read an act of luv that was gd then i read two to tango and now i luv that ship.

Dramione is...okay, I guess. I haven't read a Dramione fic in a while but when I used to i liked it a lot. I even started one of my own but then I started reading Hermy/Ron and I read a couple of Ginny/Draco and I kinda stopped liking Dramione as much. It's still interesting to read and I have yet to read Kitty's fic (I no, I no - bad Moony) but I'll get to it once my exams are over. So, don't kill my Kitty. I'll read and review ever single chapter of your fic. K? Oops... I'll have t continue this post in a minute. There's an evil mosquito flying around my head. Must smush it...OK. Back. The only thing that puts me off Dramione is poor Ron will be all alone without Hermione. Draco can still have Pansy or even Ginny if Hermione's with Ron, but Ron just doesn't work with Pansy and Ginny...no. Ew. Anyway, Dramione is okay.

We know that they are together. I think I speak for many Dramione shippers when i say that i do not expect draco and hermione to get to gether..in the books. But thats why we have fan fiction isn't it? so we can be creative and write a story .OUR OWN WAY, NOT THE WAY JK IS WRITTING THE SERIES!!!! We realize that Ron and hermione are together and that Ginny and Harry are together and we have nothing against that.

This thread is for the shippers to say why they love the ship, no matter how 'crazy' it seems to others, this is not for others to insult shippers and 'rip' at their ship.

I would suggest posting in the Ron/Hermione thread and the Harry/Ginny thread, since those seem to be 'your ship'. That would be the appropriate place to wave your ship's flag.

I hope this doesn't sound too rude, that was not my intent, but the topic title clearly says Draco/Hermione. I am open to debate of course, but I think that there are better ways of saying "i am not a fan of your ship, but Hey!! each to his/her own." than "you're wrong" and "Settled"

Dose anyone agree with me that it is impossible to ship both Dinny and Dramione at the same time? I mean there basicaly like rival ships.. whos gonna get Draco? Ginny or Hermione.. I have never liked Ginny... she just seems like shes trying to get into the trio and shes trying way to hard its also like shes trying to take Hermiones place.. that just irks me I cant stand dinny because I am a full blooded Dramione Shipper!!! GOOOOO DRAMIONE!

it is soo true, dramione is the BEST ship ever! and i agree with a lot of you, we KNOW it won't happen, perhaps thats why some shippers are ever so creative with their dramione plots. all of which i LOVE to read. =DRAMIONE RULES!=

I agree with Jess you know. It is technically impossible to ship both Dinny and Dramione at the same time. Dinny's not as appealing as Dramione because you know that Ginny is kind of a rebel anyway, so it's not as 'forbidden', as Caru said. I think it's coz Hermione's so much more of a goody-two-shoes, so, obviously, opposites attract

True I know it's hard to ship Dinny and Dramione at the same time, but it's cool havin different ships from time to time. Oh I'm still a DRAMIONE shipper all the way over all other ships. But Dinny is a pleasant little side ship for me :D

I've got to say I like Dramione better than all other ships except H/Hr. I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with the places these two can be put into. With just a little creativity a good writer can come up with some pretty awesome things for this ship to work.

I like this ship it applys to alot of relationships.. the way they act towards each other buiolds up tension and any one can turn that into sexual tension!

I have to agree with you, Jess. Draco/Hermione really show that tension and Roman, yeah I agree with you. Draco and Hermione are the only two chars that I can see a lot of plot twists with. This is my most favorite ship and I know that it won't appeal to everyone but duuuude it rocks!!!

Awww Jess ~huggels and snuggels~ Trust me, I can't fit all those plot twists in my stories either. I'm not that good heh. Anyway, another thing I want to add about Dramione is how this couple faces some of the hardest things being together. They'd fight for sure but no matter how much they'd fight, if they were really in love they'd last a long time like forever.
I think that Dramione is one of the most romantic/adventurous ships out there. I think that also it is symbolic in a few ways. You can find love in the strangest of places. And yeah...before I go into a speech about it, I think I will stop right at this point. Heh, anyway, I still think this ship is sooo awesome!

You could speech about anything, you. One thing I don't get is why Hermione always freaks if Draco's already got the Mark... don't you find that? If you read a Dramione fic and they're together already? It's like Hermione thinks the Mark is a sign that he is evil...

Draco has evil tendancies but he is not like his father. And swifters about the Dark Mark, I agree. WHY does Hermione freak out everytime? Why doesn't she just go "Oh wow honey, you have the Dark mark, can I have one too?? Pleassssse?" or "Oh my gosh your dark mark is sooo sexy!" and snog him like crazy. :D Heh if you ask me, I think the Dark Mark being there should have no effect on their relationship.

Dramione is the best ship there is. why? because there is sooo much passion. It's a passion so strong that when you turn it into love, its the best thing to read about. thats why it works so well. and who cares if it's never going to happen? we can still dream.
