Petunia dursley - a witch?

I have read that there will be a person who, in the last book, is found out to begin doing magic at a later than normal age.

I theorize that it could be pertunia. Im not sure, but everything seems to point to her. We already know that magic is in her blood because of lily and it is unusual for two sisters, only one can do magic. Also, what about that staircase that creaks, there is something there I am sure, what it is i dont know though. Also she knows a lot,, and i mean a lot about magic - more than i believe she could have learnt through Lily

Petunia Dursley could be a squib, though in the last book she may use magic finally to help harry in some way - after all pertunia does have lilys eyes so to speak, and we know this is important!

It is a good theory though I have just read on JK's own site that

"Aunt petunia has never performed magic, nor will she ever be able to"

Dont worry, she has quashed one of my snape theories too - but im working on that!

i got squashed by that petunia thing... i really thought she was squib or witch...

I didn't think she knew any magic but I did wonder about the howler she got. That would make us think she was a witch but no...she's just a normal muggle.

I think it may be Mrs. Figg or Filtch that end up doing magic. They are both the offspring of magical parents so for one of them to do a magical task is quite likely.

Yea, I agree, I think Figgy is the one who will do magic. However I think Petunia knows more abput magic then she lets on. She proably knows about the first war

Yea since Mrs. Figg and Filch are people with magical parens it can be
up to them to do something magical. We really don';t know though, I
really think it's going to be Figg cuz she helped save Harry in the
court room, in the 5th book!

i say its gonna be Flich b/c he got a letter to place that could teach him how to do magic....... as for petunia knowing a lot about magic probably from her parents and lily..... lily would go to show her parents what she could do and they would force petunia to watch or maybe she was younger and she saw that lily got a letter so se laerned all she could about magic thinking that since her sis had gotten a letter that she would to but when the time came and she didnt get a letter she hated magic and tryed to forget it........ maybe it my guess...... i think its a pretty good one

O wouldent that be horrible a filch that could do magic he would go round cursing everyone becuase they were doing magic in the corridor. I think it will more than likley be mrs figg but then again it could be someone who has not been mentioned though I do not think that is likley j.k does not normally introduce random poooples.
