Hogwarts Thanksgiving Dinner

Jessie spotted her friends Sky and Oddie and rushed over to talk to them "Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving! What's up?"

Dani laughed, "I'd try to levitate Norris just to see what would happen, but you really did that to him? Is that why he wasn't so happy last hour?" She giggled and pulled a bowl of potatoes closer to her smiling she loaded her plate.

"Yep, that was me. It was an accident though. I got a little carried away with my assignment. I used to be one of his favorites, but now, I am not so sure about that!" Sky smiled at Dani and grabbed some turkey off the platter in front of her.

"You levitated Flitwick! Sky you are an evil genius!" Jessie said giving her friend a high-five.

Dani laughed and pulled a plate of rolls over to her and began buttering them, "Agree, Sky you are an evil genius as of today."

Sky stood up and faced her friends at the table and bowed. "Thank you all for the new title. It does have rather a nce ring to it!"

Sky laughed and sat back down and grabbed a roll and some butter.

Dani laughed again and smiled, "So Jessie, what's up with you?"

"Not much. Oh! Look at what I got when Sky and I went to Diagon Alley!" Jessie said showing her friends the Purple Pygmy Puff she had been trying to hide the Professors. "Isn't he cute!"

Dani bent closer to see him, "he's aborible, what's his name?"

"That's what I came to get help with. Any idea?" Jessie said petting the little fur-ball

"How about Tiny," She suggested.

"Tiny is cute, or Jessie, you could call him George!!!" Sky looked over at Jessie with a huge smile on her face.

Dani looked confused. "I guess I'm missing the inside joke." She said eatting some of her potatoes.

"What do you think?" Jessie asked the fuzball, holding him up to her nose. He made a grunting noise and squirmed around. "I don't think he likes it." Jessie said shrugging. "It's ok you tried." Jessie smiled, patting Dani's shoulder. "Well let's see, you seem to take much pride in yourself." Wow, Jessie was talking to an Pygmy Puff. "How about Kings?"

Sky giggled and started to eat to try to hide her smile.

"Shut up Sky!" Jessie said hitting Sky in the arm. But the Pygmy puff started squealing for joy. "YOU LIKE IT?!?!!" Jessie asked the Pygymy Puff. Jessie sighed. "Fine, his name's George." Jessie mumbled so only people with extremely good hearing could hear it.

Sky began to choke on her roll when Jessie hit her. "Haha, the perfect name for him. We should go back to Diagon alley and go tell the person that he is named after that he was your insperation."

Jessie was in mid-drink but slammed it down on the table and screamed "NO!" "Sorry for the disruption everyone!" Jessie said smiling at all the people who were staring. "You wouldn't dare." Jessie said lowering her head threatningly.

Dani laughed, "Is there something going on between you and a very handsom red head?"

"No!" Jessie shouted. She could feel her cheeks burning. "Maybe." She said quietly. Jessie lowered her head so only a couple people could hear. "Fine, I like him ok!" "But not as much as SOMEONE likes the OTHER TWIN!" Jessie said strongly nodding her head towards Sky.

Dani Laughed again, "I believe they are both extreamly cute, almost hot." She giggled. "George is an excellent kisser," She giggle whsipered.

"Oh and you know?!" Jessie said accusingly.

"Yes, I do know!" She said blushing.

"Spill." Jessie said plainly, hungry for gossip.

(is it just me or does that sound really weird. 'hungry for gossip' i mean, gossip isn't even food! lol)

"Well, I like Fred, but I can't even talk right when I am around him. I am a hopeless cause." Sky looked embarrased. "So, Dani, let's hear about you and George!"

"Yes Dani, let's- hear- about- you- and- George." Jessie said through clenched teeth.

"It's nothing really interesting, at a Halloween party. Bad when we were going out. and we were having an awesome time, George just leaned in and kissed me, but." She flushed and deeper red. "It was a really good kiss..."

"Well do you still like him?" Jessie asked. Hoping for one specific answer...

"Don't be mad..." She said with a pause. "But yes I do."

"Oh." Jessie said. "He'd wouldn't like me anyway. He'd probably want someone older than me." Jessie said shoving her mouth with mashed potatos

"What?! George, not liking you, that's a laugh. He always likes brunettes(I'm assuming that Jessie's brunette?)."

(Lol yeah.)

"That's encouraging. He would like me for my hair." Jessie said sarcastically.

"Yes, but that's only the beginning. He'll notice your hair then get to know you and BOOM! you'll be going out."

Jessie couldn't help but laugh. "Then I might want to stay away from the 'change your hair' spell." Jessie said remembering the DA meeting.

Dani laughed too, "I tried to change my hair to brunette, but he called it artifical intelligence(sp?)"

Jessie burst out laughing. She was a sucker for blonde jokes. "Yes, you can't even try to immitate our brunette-smarts." She said.

Dani laughed again, "Yes, it was a failed attempt."

"I can see that." Jessie. "ONLY JOKING!" She added throwing her arms in the air.

Dani laughed, "Pass the jam please."

Jessie passed Dani the Jam.

(Me too) "So um...What year are you?"

"3rd." Jessie mumbled. She hated that she was so young. Most of the people in the other houses in her year didn't like her because she was in Slytherin. And most of the people in her house didn't like her because she didn't act like a Slytherin. Jessie took a drink of pumpkin juice.

(almost forgot we're at a feast and supposed to be eating XD)

"I couldn't tell, almost thought you were 5th year, but then rememeber that your in none of my classes." She gave a smile and finished her potatoes and started working on her turkey.

Jessie smiled. Jessie's smiled grew wider when she relised what day it was. (Uhm, she knows its Thanksgiving but remembered the date... lol) "What time is it?!" She asked Dani.

Dani spared a moment to look down at her wolf watched, "Almost 4,"

"Yes!" Jessie shouted punching the air. "Acording (sp?) to Trelawney (wow i really suck at spelling) I was supposed to die a half an hour ago." Jessie said smiling.

"Well congratz on survivng through this fine day. She told me I'd die of a blow to the head by a falling ice cube. So I told her she'd die of failer to tell the future. And lucky me I have lines with her tommarow." She grinned. "But it was worth it."

"I bet. I had to 'gaze into the crystal ball' and she asked me what I saw and I said 'fog.' Then she got all offended and told me to look harder. So, I lent forward and 'looked harder.' Then she was all "Well what do you see dear!" She was practically jumping for joy. So i told her i saw Elvis being captured by a bunch of aliens. So I guess i'll see you tomorrow." Jessie said, with lots of hand gestures.

"I'm totally taking that subject next year, just to peepee her off." Dani laughed waving her hands

"I'm planning on taking it all the way through 7th year!" Jessie said. "Maybe she'll quit once she's had enough of us. Then maybe they'll get someone who actually is a seer!"
