DA Meeting

Dani Dancing Goodsman walked into the first official DA meeting.

Sitting comfortably on a bright green coushin she smiled and selected one of the many books off the shelf, How to over take your Enemys By Harry James Potter. And sat down to begin reading.

Skyla walked into the meeting and smiled at sunset before taking her place on a nearby cushion and pulling out her wand and casualy making small objects fly across the room

Dancing put down her book and smiled at the new comer and said. "I'm new to this whole thing," She held out her hand. "I'm Dani Dancing Goodsman. But Dancing's just a nickname. But it's what everyone calls me."

::Sara Marsh walked into the meeting.::

:Even though she also worked for the Order, she was still a hogwarts student and still eligable for the DA::

"hey everyone" ::she said quietly.::

lauren walked into the room after walking passed the hidden door three times. She didnt know whether she would be accepted in the DA. it was knowledge to everyone that she was the daughter of a werewolf and a lot of people thought that she had to be evil. she just hoped that people knew her dad remus and knew that they were both good

Traci walked in not taking sides but wanted to learn as many spells as possibleshe sttod quitly in a corner

(I've decided to nominate myself as Head of the DA, if any oppose speak now of forever hold your pee.)

"Hi everyone," Dani said getting in front of the few members who had arived. "I'm Dani Dancing Goodsman, Since Harry is going to be joinning the order now, he has decide that we should vote on who our stand in leader is."

She blinked. "I would like to nominate myself." She looked around the room. "Any opposed?"

Traci walked out out of the shadows "can i help" she asked quietly

"Yes Traci?" Dani asked.

.: Katie entered the room a little late, McGonagall was lurking and even though she aprroved of the DA being out of bed was just unacceptable:.

"Umm I have no oppositions for you to be the leader Dani, but I think we should all take turns...we could also have group discussions."

"Okay thanks, for the idea Katie." Dani said. "all in approval?" She counted hands. "All opposed?" None were rasied.

"Motion passed. Leader shall be taking in strides until the group has decided the official leader."

Traci looked down and walked back to her corner quietly and quickly

Sky Summers walked quickly into the room.

"Sorry I'm late everyone. It took forever for the hall to become clear so I could come in."

She walked over twards the group and plopped down on a green pillow next to Dani.

"Hi sky," Dani said greeting her. "I hope you don't mind I've decide to take up temporary leader until an official one has been decided."

Traci sighed in her corner wishing she could be less shy but latly thats all she has been.

"Okay people, We need to practice some reduction spells. And remember to aim at that wall this week." Dain said pointing.

"Traci do who want to join in? I need someone the write down the list of all the people here. Do you want to do it?"

::Sara pulled her blue iWiz mini (Wizarding iPod) from her bag and put the earphones in her ears. She turned on her favorite song, completely oblivious to most of the meeting. they weren't doing that much at the moment anyway::

Sky Summers sat on her green pillow looking at everyone else in the room.

"Do you think there will be more of us?"

Traci steeped out of the corner and shook her head yes she went areound collecting names then did a perfect reduction spell it was simple she did those all the time

WOW! Traci's spell was excellent.

"Hey if you don't mind, could we talk about whats going on out in the real world? Is there any word on Voldy yet?"

Sky looked over at her and sighed. "My Father says that He who must not be named has been regaining his strength even more now that he has most of his supporter's with him. He and his Deatheater's have been attacking muggles and ministry members. It's not good."

"Well actually I got wind from someone in the Order about you-know-who. They say he's going to strike and soon, we don't know when or where but that's why we are having these extra meetings." Dani said.

"Good work Traci," She clapped. "You've been working on your spell haven't you?"

she smiled "always do" she said quitly

"Well it's nice to see you improving." Dani said. "Yes, thank you for getting those names. Just need them to get ahold of the other members."

::Sara smiled as she flipped through the playlists on her iWiz. She had a cousin who was a squib, the first non magic person in the family for generations, who had introduced sara to muggle music.::

::Sara moved her shoulders and head to the song, and hummed quietly to herself.::

Dani waved at Sara and signaled for her to take off the ear devices.

"Okay everyone, good work. I'd like you to all settle down so we can begin the meeting." Dani looked around as everyone quieted down. "First of all I'd like to say that tonight has been a great turn out. and second of all has anyone seen anything suspious?"

"Please alert us if you have, as you all know things have been getting quiet tough around here. With things from hexs to textbooks flying around. We need each and every one of you to keep a look out. Since He-who-must-not-be-named is becoming stonger and Harry believes he will be attacking momentarily."

::Sara waved back absently, then raised her hand::

"hey can we have some music to hex each other too?" :and speakers apeared in the RoR::

Traci smiled and practed some complicated spells she yawned and sat down still doing some spells

.: Katie finally did a perfect reductor curse and sat down on her pillow:.

"I would watch out for Walter Hornby, you know that 6th year Syltherian kid. He keeps satring at us and acting suspicously."

"why should we worry" she asked

Sky walked over to Katie. "I can keep an eye on Hornby for you. I am in Slytherin house. I will let you know if he is acting funny."

"Thanks for the tip, Katie. Okay lets put on some music with a good beat and practice those disarming spells." Dani said and walked around the room.

Traci performed a perfect disarming charm again she did t alot

"Good Traci now everyone please choose a partner and come over here to get some protection spells on and we will simulate an actually deatheaters duel."

"Hello?" Sandy said poking her head in side the door almost blasted away immeidatly by a spell fired from Traci.

"Hi Sandy come find a partner," She waved at her shorter cousin.

"Um i'm ok...." Sandy said looking around the room. "I just thought that nobody was in here." Then she shut the door and walked off.

Traci laughed and again no one wanted to ber her partner she sighed

"Kay Trac, we'll be partners." Dani said. She pointed her wand at her and yelled a protection charm. and then cast the same charm on herself. "Okay rememeber this is a duel, go ahead and go crazy. Use everything you can think of."

she laughed "ok" she performed a perfect disarming charm

Sky walked over to Sandy and asked her to be her partner. She pointed her wand at her new partner and yelled, "EXPELLIARMUS!"

Dani used a block spell and yelled back at Traci. "Reducto!" Which caused her to fly backwards.

She turned to look what every one else was doing. "Good spell Sky."

"Thanks Dani." Sky said. "I have been practicing a lot. Hopefully we will never have to use these spells against the evil forces, but it's nice to know we will be able to whoop their butts good if we have to!"

TRaci got up and hit Dani with a feet tienging spell so she tobeled over and fell

Sandy tripped as the spell hit her, but managed to stand up and fire a spell back at her. "hicapotostamaous,"Sandy yelled , this spell turned the opponet into a pig. So now Sky was a pig holding onto a stick. "In your face," Sandy said teasingly but a smug smile was on her face.

"Here Katie, you can join me and Traci. It can be a two on one thing." She pointed her wand at Katie and said. "Protecto. Okay you and Trac just give everything you got, don't be afraid to hold back."

Traci smirked and hit her with a spell of her own creation she turned purple and black and stated to ramble Traci loved knowing that the protection speel didnt harm the people she hit otherewise that girl would be purple and babling forever

Jessie took a deap breath as she approached the DA meeting.

See, Jessie's parents are retiered deatheaters and have been trying to get her to join their side since she was little. But Jessie felt differently. She completely disagreed with everything they thought. But she recently realized how she, Jessica LeAnen, could help fight for what she believed in. She was planning on offering herself as a spy for the DA. She would learn everything she could about the Deatheater's plans from her parents and tell them to the DA. Heck, the Order has spys, why can't they?

She was positive she wanted to do this. She could possibly end up risking her life for the common good. "Wow, I'm such a good person!" She thought to herself. She took one last breath and conidently knocked (sp?) on the door.
