Hermione Jane Granger

Hermione, though extremely annoying, is loyal to Harry and will follow him until the end. I dont think she is as loyal as Ron is, but I think that her intellegence is key to helping them find the horcruxes

defintly, and in a way Harry and Ron use her, but I think that makes her feel useful. "Helping" them makes her feel accomplished and so on. When we first meet her, I think mostly she was trying to prove herself to everybody what do you guys think?

Hermione is the best! She ssmart and loving (especially to ROn) LOL! She is great I wish I had friends like hers and her grades!

I totally agree! They use her so they dont have to do any research becasue shes a walking encyclopedia.

ive never actally thought they use her though they do seem to gang up on her sometimes.

I love Hermione! She's one of my favorite characters! She loyal and a bit annoying (sometimes more than a bit) but she rocks!

I love Hermione... I remember my mum reading POS to me as a kid and always liking her the best and i still do... I think she is such a valuable part of the trio and that the story would be a pile of mess up without her... just in loovvveee <3 xD

Her middle name is Jean. Not Jane. But moving on, I love her. She is my second favorite character in the series. I like how smart and resourcefull she is. Harry never would have made it to the end of the series without her. And I love her with Ron, they are adorable. Not that Ron really deserves her (much as I love Ron), but she loves him, so I am glad they are together.

I think it was originally Jane but then Rowling changed it to Jean in DH...something about not wanting Umbridge and her to have the same middle name. But Hermione's one of my favorite characters. The trio would be nowhere without her. She's so clever and resourceful as well as loyal and brave. I think she could have done so much better than Ron though. Blehhhh. xD

Now that you mention it, I think I do remember her middle name being Jane before. Strange. Jane sounds so wrong now that they keep using Jean so much in the movies.

Yeah, I used to get super confused by the switch and was never positive on which one was the correct middle name. Hahaha. I think I like Jean better though. It fits her better in my opinion.
