13th House Quidditch: RAVENCLAW V SLYTHERIN: 9th-14th

(R seeker)

::Elly just dodged a bludger when she saw the slytherin seeker shooting upwards. Elly followed, she wasfaster the him, but she couldn;t see the snitch anywhere. Her first instinct was to turn round and leave the other seeker as he was fooling her...she decided to trust her instinct. Elly swirved in the air and scanned the snitch. A bludger was sent ehr was but she performed a simple move, just laying flat against her broom, but she hadn't got low enough. The bludger skimmed her back,

"Arg!" she said, wincing in pain, she knew taht bludger would have taken off a layer of skin, she could feel the blood trickling into her robes. But Elly carried on, searching. She saw the slytherin seeker up high abovethe pitch,but as Elly turned to face the Ravenclaw Goal Posts she saw it, a flicjker of gold. Elly Lay low against her broom and sped towards the goal posts. COnfusing the other seeker by doing very large loops back on herself then continuing forward. Her robes were sticking to her back and making the cut burn, but she tried to ignore the pain and headed straight for the golden ball::

(Slytherin Chaser)

~He flew over to Jessica~ "Well, right now we're trying as many tactics as we can, and we have to keep Ravenclaw at bay. I'm not sure what the score is now but we need to focus on not only scoring but our performances and stopping the ravies from getting so close to our goal"

~He wiped the sweat from his brow and took a few breaths~ "This is going to be a very hard game to win but if we do our best we can make it. Now, Jessica, have you got any ideas?"

~He watched the quaffle launched back into play and at the same time saw Elly chasing the snitch~

"Raisty!" He shouted and pointed where elly had flown to~

(SLYTHERIN SEEKER)

Elly realised he was fooling her

~I'm not going to make it!~

He looked the field searching for anything we could do!

"Where's a beater when we need one?!"

~I'll have to do it myself~

He saw elana near him and went towrds her, caughting her off guard grabed his stick and directioned the bludger she was about to hit in Elly's direction!

"YES!" he shouted it was a nice shot the bludger's going directly to elly's and will got her from behind.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessica looked over where Jesse pointed, then turned her attention back to him. "Well earlyer Nancy and I tried just making alot of random passing, that seemed to confuse 'em." She said.

(R Seeker)

::The bludger struck Elly right on the left shoulder. It would've gone right on her back but luckily she moved so slightly. She heard a crack and screamed out in pain.She tried to control her broom with one arm, but her eyes were welled up with tears from the shock of beign hit. The pain in her shoulder was excrusiating. Elly leaned too far to one side and she fell off her broom, unable to control it anylonger::

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Alright, then let's go!" He said excitedly as he flew up after the quaffle that was soaring right through the air~

~He wiped his brow once more that was coated with sweat and dirt. It didn't help that his elbow was giving him quite a bit of grief as he struggled and fought against the pain. Getting hurt so soon was not good and it gave the opposing team a peek at what could be a great weakness. But he shook his head and sighed~ 'I'm not showing any pain or any indication of having any injuries. I'll endure the pain until I can't handle it' He thought~

(SLYTHERIN SEEKER)

Raistlin let his breath go.

~Good, That one was near, now i'll hve to do it all over again, but at least i got to hurt someone~

"Mwhahah" he laughed evily leaving other staring at him

He headed towards elly

"I hope you're not too hurt. Well iActually I do but anyway I'm off to victory"
he left searching the field once more without ever taking one eye from elly

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana doubled over, the force of the Bludger had knocked the wind out of her. Her beloved Beater's bat lay loosely in her hand as she massaged her side with her free left hand. That had hurt.::

"Bloody Slytherins," she mumbled, looking around her to try and locate her team for another play. Then, out of the blue Rai flew up and- TOOK AWAY HER BAT. Ignoring the pain in her side, Elana immediately took off after Rai.::

"You don't take the bat, just no," she said to herself as she flew, glaring at him. "I'm very attatched to my bat. You take it away and hurt my team's Seeker. And you're going to get your just reward."

::She caught up with him and snatched back her bat, still glaring. Once the bat was back in her posession, Elana flew to the right, barrel rolling to avoid oncoming Bludgers until she found one far enough away from Rai to make her point known. She swung and hit the Bludger hard, sending it towards the Slytherin Seeker. The loud CRACK heard soon after told her that she had hit her target, and she zoomed off towards the Ravenclaw goals.::

(Slytherin Chaser)

~With the quaffle in his grasp he prepared for the oncoming train of Ravies that were tooting up right behind him and swerved several times as they were becoming about as mean and nasty as ravies could get. He ducked a couple bludgers along the way that had been sent by Elana and Jimmy and dove out of the reach of one of the chaser's hands. He continued his descent until he was now over the tallest hoop but faced with the delima of dealing with a very persistent Keeper that was Brunette~

~Frustrated, he turned and swooped down handing off the quaffle to Jessica as descreetly as possible and then went back to taunt and tease-more like distract- Brunette who was already fuming at the Slytherin team~

(SLYTHERIN SEEKER)

Raistlin felt a Bludger hiting i shoulder and a loud crack!
His first instinct was to cursed elana but he couldn't afford his team to be disqualified.

"I'll get you elana mark my words!"

He next concentrated on the paiful task he had to do. his shoulder was deslocated luckliy and not broken.counting too three he then put the shoulder back into his place and screamed
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
After the excruciating pain he was now feeling better and wouldn' be caught off guard again.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Yes Rai, I know you will. Too bad we're paired up together for dueling, eh?" she yelled across the Pitch.::

::Elana hummed serenely to herself, grinning impishly. Slytherin Chasers? Distracting Holly? Oh what is wrong with them? Sorry Daddy, Nancy and Jessie...but that's just wrong. LIKE A SEEKER WITH A BEATERS BAT, she added angrilly. She hit a Bludger towards the Chasers, hoping to frighten them off and circled above them.::

(Slytherin Chaser)

Now that Jessica had possesion of the quaffle she zoomed upwards, with Jesse short behind her. "Jesse catch!" she said tossing the quaffle backwards, in hopes of confusing the Ravenclaw's.

Nancy finally regained her composure and was able to play again although she has a spliting headache.

Nanch sped upwards just as Raistlin was stuck by a bludger. "Oh Raistlin, you OK?" She asked him when she heard him scream in agony.

"That Elana will pay for that if he has anything to do with it." She said outloud to no one in particular.

She looked twards Jesse and Jessica and saw that Jessica had gained control of the quaffle. She sped up and flew beside Jessica. A Ravenclaw beater came charging after Jessica but Nancy was ready. She rammed the Ravenclaw with the strength she could conjure up and knocked her out of the way. Then she spotted Jessica toss the quaffle back to Jesse.

"Fly Jesse, SCORE!" Nancy screamed to her captain.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Oof!" Elana grunted, being pushed by one of the Chasers. She scowled and flew up near Holly's height. She continued circling above the Slytherins, keeping an eye out for her teammates. Come on guys...Need a bit of help here.::

::Another Bludger flew her way and she sent it down towards the Slytherins, giving her attack another shot. At the same time a Bludger was quickly making its way towards them from a different angle. Thank you Jimmy dear. Hopefully they'll drop the Quaffle and let one of ours catch it...but there's probably too many there for Lifey or Lily to get in fast enough...::

(Awww Nancy, now I'm 'that Elana'? *tears*)

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Jesse! Shoot!" She shouted at her fellow chaser, and her captian.

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Jesse caught the quaffle and slam dunked it through the left hoop...after he of course stopped watching the little fluttery butterflies that had been suddenly distracting him for no really big reason except to buy ravies some time. Thankfully the voice of his team snapped him out of it and he successfully scored for Slytherin~

(Elana..you know I wubs you...but i am Slytherin and quidditch is my life..XD)

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy saw Jesse score yet another goal for the mighty Slytherin team. She soared over to him and yelled. "Way to go, we are really starting to smoke em now!"

She spun her broom around and looked down the feild to see where the quaffle was. More moves like they had been doing should win them this game.

She flew over to where Raistlin was amlously searching for the snitch and she gave him a little wink. "Thanks for saving my butt earlier. I heard you slowed me down from falling with your superior spell work."

Nancy flew over next to Jessie. "We are killing them, we need to get posession again!"

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Race you to the quaffle." Jessie said to Nancy as she soared across the pitch to where the quaffle was.

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy smiled at Jessie. "You're on!" She said and took off twards the quaffle. It was in mid air and would be easy enough to catch.

As she neared the quaffle another nasty bludger came pelting from across the field. Nancy looked and saw that it was Jimmy yet again who had hit it twards her.

"You really are trying to kill me tonight aern't you?" SHe shouted to him.

She cut a sharp left and was able to avoin getting hit. Sky looked over her shoulder and saw Jessica swerve to miss the same bludger. "Fantastic flying." She called out to her.

The quaffle was right in front of Nancy now and she reached her left hand out and snatched it.

"Get under me now Jessica! We are going to do the rattlesnake shake!"

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Rattle snake shake! Got it!" Jessica said flying underneath Sky. She rolled her self under and kind of swerved around. (I'm taking that from you PM lol) "Drop the quaffle!" Jessica said. She was right underneath her and it would be an easy pass off to confused the Ravenclaws.

(LMAO!)

(Slytherin chaser)

"Brilliant moves!" Nancy shouted to Jessie and passed the quaffle to her. "No go go go!"

Nancy watched as Jessica soared closer and closer to the goalposts. She sped her broom forward to guide her to the posts.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessica cought the quaffle and zoomed closer to the goalposts. Confuse them She thought. Just when she looked like she would throw the quaffle into the hoop with ease, she threw it at Nancy. "Nancy!" She shouted.

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy was more than happy to take the quaffle and make a score for her beloved Slytherin team.

They had battled injuries and dissapointments and anything she could do to help she would.

She flew in a half circle and then flew slightly to the left so she could ge the wind to work in her favor.

She glided along with ease. The wind felt so good on her face. She was really enjoying herself.

She dove down suddely about 30 feet from the left hoop. She noticed Brunette following her every move. She pulled up her broom and sped twards the left post. As Brunette flew to cover the left post Nancy pulled a hard right and raced to the right post.

She climbed the air with her beloved firebolt her Daddy, Jesse had given her and she tossed the ball with ease into the hoop.

She punched the air squeee'd!!

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessica flew over to Nancy. "Nice one!" She shouted, giving her a high five. "That should have sure confused 'em!" She said.

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy smiled and looked at Jessica. "See, this team work thing really does work."

She turned her broom and dashed back off to the middle of the field again. Watching and waiting to see where Brunette would throw the quaffle. She would be ready to try to regain control and make another 10 points for her team.

It was getting colder now and the wind was really picking up. She looked up into the darkening sky. "Looks like rain." She called over to Jessica.

Just then the quaffle was thrwon into the air. Nancy flew to the place where it was heading, twards middle field and looked over at Jessica. She could see that she was pretty close to where the quaffle was flying.

A bludger came pelting by but Nancy had more than enough time to see it and swerved out of it's path. "Jessica, let's get that quaffle!" She yelled to her team mate.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Ignoring the now pouring rain, Jessica shot after the quaffle. Grabbing it with one arm she dove down and made a quick u-turn to head back to the goalposts. She noticed a bludger was coming straight towards her and made a last minute decission to toss up the quaffle. "Nancy! Catch!" She shouted, before throwing it to her teammate. Just as she let go of the ball she zoomed upward, losing the bludger.

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy grabbed the quaffle that jessica had thrown to her and gripped it tightly in her left hand.

The rain was really coming down now and it was making it extemly hard to see. She wiped her eyes with the sleeves of her robes but it did little good as her robes were already begining to saturate.

Nancy flew twards the other side of the feild squinting to see the goal posts. She could just barely make out the highest one in the middle so she decided to head in that direction.

A bludger came pelting twards her once again swatted by Jimmy. She did a roll on her broom and turned completly upsidown. Once the bludger soared past her she straightend up and rolled her broom back around.

She was nearing the goal post now. She could see Brunette was having trouble as she kept rubbing her eyes. Nancy took advantage of the situation and flew strong and mighty twards her destination.

She sped up and slowed down then sped up again confusing the soaked Ravenclaw keeper. She flew to the top most part of the center hoop, soun her broom around backwards and pelted it through the hoop/

"And Slytherin scores!" She screamed and flew her broom along side the stands packed with everyone watching the game and high fived several of her fellow Slytherin students and Professor Slughorn who winked at her.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessica saw Pro. Slughorn wink at Nancy and started laughing uncontrollably. She started to slip off her broom from laughing so hard, but luckily kept one leg wrapped around it. She swung her other leg over and gained back her balance. "Awesome score Nancy!" Jessica shouted as she flew over to her fellow Chaser. "Did you see Slughorn!? Priceless!" She said. Then she saw the quaffle being thrown back into play right passed her head and soared back after it. "Oh no you don't!" She shouted as she grabbed it and darted after the Ravenclaw goal posts.

(SLYTHERIN SEEKER)

Raistlin was still thinking about that bludger when he saw a golden glob floating around Snapey's ear!

"NANCY!" (ohh i never call you that) he shouted scaring her but also scaring the snitch which escaped following a bludger.
"I'll get you!" he said passing through snapey at great speed following the bludger. He went through all the players hearing some less polite things.
When he finally caught with the bludger the snitch was gone again!

"Grrr i hate that thing!"

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy winked back at Professor Slughorn and flew back over to Jessica who was laughing uncontrollably. "Composure!" Nancy yelled to her and she saw Jess stabilize herself on her broom and dart off after the now in play quaffle.

Nancy soared high above Jessica and turned her broom upsidown. She braced her broom with her legs and reached both hands out to retrieve the quaffle Jessica threw up at her. "Thanks!" She shouted. She clutched the quaffle in her left arm and turned herself back around with her right hand.

Nancy flew through the air as the rain pounded against her face. She kept moving full speed ahead twards the Ravenclaw goal posts. She spotted Raistlin not to far from her aimlessly looking for the beloved frisky little snitch. She hear him call her by her real first name which was so unlike him and it scared her. "Wow Raistlin, you know my name?" He had always called her Snapey her little nickname he gave her so she was a little thrown off. "I know you will catch that thing and win this game for us, Now think evily it is after all one of your many talents!" Nancy shouted to him with a smile and kept flying to her target.

Brunette was ready for Nancy so she had to think of a plan. She approached the middle hoop and tried to throw the quaffle through but it was blocked by the excellent Ravenclaw keeper. Nancy grabbed for the quaffle again and was lucky enough to retrieve it. She dove to the right and then to the left and then to the right again.

She cirlced the right goal post twice then sprinted twards the center hoop. Brunette was not fast enough to block the goal this time. Nancy sent the quaffle right through the middle of it.

She flew over to Raistlin. "We are going to make hissssssstory with this game!" Nancy hissed. "The Sly Slytherins will dominate."

(R Seeker)

::Elly sat on her broom and looked for the snitch. She had just seen the start of lily's play and smiled. Elly turned round still searching and was facing the goal posts when all of a sudden she sped forwards. She never took her eye's off that one spot except for when she turned her head slightly to see if the other Seeker was there. And yup, there he was, the slytherin seeker right behind her. Literally back of broom to front of broom, following her exact movements. But he wasn't going to get past her. Elly was much more skilled and could easily move more quickly. She continued towards the goal posts and smiled The slytherin seeker could obviously not see where he was heading as Elly blocked the view::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Jimmy watched as Elly began shooting towards him, his throat dry as the bludger approach. With a signal to the seeker, he swung his bat with his good arm, the vibrations travelling through his bones and into the wood of the broomstick.

THWACK!

He could only hope those seeker reflexes were all they were cracked up to be...

(R Seeker)

::Elly smiled. The large bludger was being sent her way. She picked up speed and flew straight towards it. The sltyherin seeker still behind her, oblivious to the big ball flying towards them. Elly was still picking up speed, she kept checking over her shoulder to make sure the slyutherin seeker was still following. But aqll of a sudden only a metre away from the bludger elly pulled into a sharp turn to the left. The other seeker looked puzzled and didn;t see the bludger going right for him. It hit the slkytherin seeker right in the chest knocking him back and off his broom.

ouch Elly thoguht, but shrugged and flew up to jimmy and gave him a high five

"Nice hit. Very precise," Elly winked and went off to find the snitch, hopeing rai wasn't too hurt...

(Ravenclaw Beater)

He grinned and returned Elly's high five, before setting off after Lily.

He followed the push into the enemy half, holding onto his broomstick before he heard a whistling from behind him.

Pulling his broom up sharply, he pulled a full 360 degree loop, reappearing in the wake of the bludger. He gunned forwards, holding his bat across his body before swinging, connecting with the ball and sending it flying towards the Slytherin keeper.

(R seeker)

::Lily flew over to Elly. And was sayign about her back::

"You sure you want to keep on playing?" Elly said, never stopping searching for the snicth, "I mean it's pretty dangerous."

::But This was pointless of Elly to ask. Elly knew Lily too well. Lily would play no matter what. She'd never let her team down::

(SLYTHERIN SEEKER)

Raistlin was knocked from his broom and started to fall he was screaming for help when he saw the snitch below if he continue that way he'd caught it!

only a few meters above the ground he caught it and scream to any fellow slytherin!

"HELP!" if no one help him he'd be in hospital for a long time!

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy looked up and saw that Raistlin was falling from his broom. He was going down fast but Nancy was close by. She leaned her body foward on her broom as far as she could and sped up and flew as fast as she could fly.

He started to flip around in the air as he was spiraling downward. Nancy pointed her broom straight down and did a nose dive twards the ground. She pulled up inches from the ground and got underneath Raistlin.

She braced her broom with her legs and reached her arms forward. He fell into her arms but the weight was more than she could hold. As he fell into her arms Nancy and Raistlin slammed onto the ground. Luckily they were not too high up. And it wasn't that bad of a fall.

"Raistlin." Nancy shouted looking at him. "Are you alright?" She saw that he was OK, but looked like he was in some pain. Although shaken and very soar from being knocked to the ground Nancy was not going to let this stop her from finishing the match. "Rest here for a while. I am going back up there."

She got back on her broom and darted off back into the game. She flew over to Jessica. "Payback time." She said to her.

(Slytherin beater)

Jess saw a bludger coming her way and stedied her batt getting ready to hit it. She finaly hit it sending it towards Elly. And then flew around looking for the other bludger.

(Slytherin chaser)

Nancy saw that Jess's bludger hit Elly and the quaffle was knocked out of her hand. "Nice one!" Nancy yelled to Jess.

Nancy sped her firebolt up and snatched the quaffle away. She spun he broom around and faced the Ravenclaw goal posts. A bludger was pelted at her but she saw it out of the corner of her eye and was able to pull up into the air above it.

She flew with the wind pushing against her back making her able to pick up more speed. She looked around for another one of her teamates to pass the quaffle to.

She spottet Jesse to her left and carefully tossed the quaffle into his hands. "Cobra crawl!" She called to him.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Seeing Elly hit with a Bludger sent by none other than her ex step mummy Jess, Elana quickly flew over to the Ravenclaw Seeker.::

"Elly, are you alright?" she asked, worried.::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Lining up his bat with the approaching bludger, Jimmy gave it a solid crack with his good hand, watching it soaring towards Jesse as he caught the Quaffle from Nancy. The ball curved gacrefully, approaching him from behind and slamming into the back of his broomstick, sending twigs and splinters flying out as the bludger disentangled itself and meandered off again.

"Someone get that Quaffle!" He shouted at the chasers.

(R SEEKER)

::elly Was hit by the bludger but she was ok. It winded her but when she got her breath back shwe was fine. It was a poor hit and didn;t do much damage. Elana flew up to her asking if she was ok. Elly said she was fine and hugged Elana gave her a high five and flew off to search for the snicth::

~How come I end a Duel more intact than a Quidditch game!~ Raistlin thought. He had now a crushing pain in the chest from the bludger and some bruised from the fall. He wasn't worst thanks to Snapey

"Thankls snapey! we're now even!"

Back in the air he looked viciously at elly ~Pray you never met in a duel~

The game was being rough no one could tell who was winning. He decided to the best he could but now he wanted some fun. He suddenly dive at a fast speed into the groud he had had an idea...

(Slytherin Chaser)

"I got it Jimmy!" ~Jesse laughed as he snatched the quaffle out of the air and swerved around gracefully and started flying towards Ravenclaw's goal. He zigged this way, zagged that way double backed swooped down and soared straight up and curved in various arcs as he continued on his way to the goal.~

~He ducked a bludger on the way flipping backwards and then rolling in a perfect rippling motion towards the lower hoop and sent the quaffle into it with great ease~Another 10 points for Slytherin~

"Woohooo!" He cheered flipping on his broom cheerfully~

(R seeker)

::Elly zoomed and circled rai::

"Can't even doge something easy like that? pfft." She smirked and zoomed off. She dodged a bludger sent her way by some slytherin and ciontinued to search. It started to rain. Elly lookedup tothe sky to see a streak of lgihting light up the pitch. Elly shuddered. She saw a gold flash, at first she thoguht it was lightning but then she realised it was the snicth. Elly pulled the hanle of her broom and pulled into a steep climb. The rain was gettign heavier and thunder rumbled deep and low. But Elly kept climbing, wiping the water from her eyes. Her broom was wet and slipery but she held on. She pulled out ofthe cimb and chased after the snicth. Lightning flashed again and she was temorarily blinded. Everytime she blinked a steak of colour would appear infront of her eyes obscuriong her vision. But she continued. Elly was soaked through, he robes sticking to her skin. she Dodged round a few players, never taking her eyes off the snitch. Not even to see if she was beign followed. Elly was so closeto the snicth now. She outstretched her arm but was just a tad far away. She lunged on her broom and closed her hand around the cold, slippery ball. It slipped out of her hand but she grabbed again and puleldthe ball close to her::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Very glad that Elly was ok, Elana looked up at the sky. Rain, and getting heavier by the moment. She pushed her wet hair out of her eyes, cursing her forgetfulness at remembering hairties, and headed towards the Gryffindor stands and a Bludger which would help get a Slytherin out of the game...or relieved of the Quaffle at least. But before she got to the Bludger, she looked around to see how her teammates were doing, and saw Elly with something in her hand. Elana cheered and flew through the pouring rain and the maze of Bludgers, teammates and opponents towards Elly.::

"Great catch!" Elana cried, grinning. She hugged Elly, laughing, more excited than she had been in a long time. It had been a very tiring match, full of hurt and hopefully experience would be gained from it. But it wasn't over yet (we still have till the 14 even though she caught the Snitch, right?)::
