12th House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V HUFFLEPUFF: 9th-13th

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

Nancy ran out onto the quidditch pitch. She carried her firebolt with her as usual and she sported her black, silver and dark green Slytherin quidditch robes. She quickly mounted her broom and kicked off from the ground, shooting up into the air in a verticle position.

Once gaining quite a bit of altitude, Nancy leveled herself off to a horizontal position and rounded the pitch, flying to one side of the hoops and then to the other. She saw no one up there at all. Being the first to arrive at the game she couldn't do much so she continued circling the hoops and would do so until someone else arrived and the game could start. She was quite eagar to play, like she always was. She loved the fun and excitement of her favorite game.

Streams straightened her robes in the locker room and did some pre-game stretches. Then she grabbed her broom in her left hand, her bat in her right, and strode out onto the pitch with her shoulders thrown back. The wind lifted her hair and made her robes swirl around her legs.

She realized she had forgotten to tie up her hair, and that could be problematic as the game went on, so she searched for an elastic in her pockets. Grimacing as she felt odd crumbly and hairy things in her pockets, she at last pulled out an elastic and cleaned it with a simple spell. Then she tied up her hair in a high ponytail.

Straddling the broom, she took off smoothly, gripping her bat as she maintained a slight but steady hold on her broom. Then she twirled the bat and switched it from hand to hand, flexing her wrists as she soared up and down the pitch.

Agatha was out on her morning jog around the castle when she glanced over at the quidditch pitch. She saw what looked like Raisty and Nancy flying around the top. She squinted and smacked her forhead...it looked as though she was late yet again. She darted towards the locker rooms to grab her robes and broom. She threw them on in a blur and was on the quidditch pitch and in the air in a flash. She hunkered down and zoomed towards her fellow teamates. As she arrived, she saw that they were the only ones present. Only one member of the opposing team was there and so play hadn't really started. Agatha waved at her teamates and she flew over closer. They all said their "hello's" and talked strategy a little. Then Nancy decided she would go find the quaffle while Agatha did a few practice laps around the pitch. Even if their whole team wasn't there, they were gonna make the best of it and get this game started.

:Etta ran onto the Quidditch like a bat out of hell and, still running, she jumped onto her broomstick, flicking her hair quickly into a ponytail and reajusting her robes as she shot off into the field of play.

Quickly casting a professional eye over the opposing team, Etta decided she was not in the mood to hand around and wait for Slytherin to play warm ups and wait for their team mates, that was just so unlike any slytherin she knew.

Swinging her beaters bat wildly, Etta raced towards an oncoming Bludger and swung with the strengh of ten giants, sending crashing down towards Agatha.:

::Dani Sunset propelled herself down the stairs and out onto the grounds, she tripped over her own feet and fell on her face, she straightned herself up, it wasn't as if this was such a terrible thing, so yeah she was late again. Big whoop!

::She hopped on her broom, Okay Sunny take a deep breath, it's not that bad, just get over your nerve She closed her eyes and pushed off from the ground leaping into the sky. She soared over the tops of the stadium and saw Nancy with the qwaffle. She loved her Nuna dearly but this was all buisness. She gritted her teeth and made a steep beeline for Nancy.

::Dani drew back her fist and punched the qwaffle that was between Nancy's arm and her body. There was a boom of noise and the qwaffle fell out of the sky zooming for the ground. Dani looked first at Nuna then back at the Qwaffle and dived after it.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn hurried onto the field with her broomstick and cloak. As her feet lightly ran across the freshly mowed grass, she glanced up at the sky above. Shielding her eyes a bit from the bright sun, she noticed a few of the Slytherin teammates flying about. But her eyes immediately zoomed toward her Hufflepuff teammates, streams, Etta, and Dani. Grinning to herself, she hopped up on her broomstick and hovered toward the ground as she watched Dani catch the quaffle after knocking it out of the opponent's hand.

Giving dani a slight nod, Jenn pulled her broomstick upwards and leaned forward on her broomstick. Using her left hand, she swiftly pulled her broomstick toward the Slytherin goalposts and flew straight toward the keeper. Her fingers tightened on the broomstick as she flew closer and closer to the goal posts. At the last minute, she pulled on her broomstick with all her might and jerked the broomstick down underneath the center hoop. Positioned behind the center hoop, she waited for the next move.

(Hufflepuff Badger)

Streams whizzed after a Bludger that was moving away from her at top speed. She accelerated, going faster and faster until her teammates were just blurs of color against a backdrop of gray sky.

Just as she drew back her arm, the crafty Bludger abruptly changed direction and zoomed right at her. Grimacing, streams reflexively pulled her broom upwards, hoping she had been fast enough. The bludger didn't hit her, but it did smash the tail of her broom, knocking several twigs off and causing her to spin off balance.

In the few precious seconds it took streams to get back on course, the bludger had gone off to chase Dani. Streams flew over to Dani, and stopped above her, beating the bludger narrowly. Not bothering with any fancy moves this time, she instinctively drew back and punched the bludger hard towards Nancy.

:Etta waisted no time in chasing after the Bludger which had just hit Agatha. smiling as she chased it back across the pitch she knew she had only one option of attack.

Flying in front of the bludger Etta performed the Rotating Power Beat, turning three times on her broom, her bat held out, looking remarkably like a discus thrower on a broom, she slammed her bat into the bludger sending it pelting at wild speeds and force to Nancy who was recovering from a Bludger attack only moments early.

Smiling Etta waved happily at her team mates.:

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

Nancy looked and saw all the people who had suddenly appeared on the pitch. A smile formed on her lips as she spotted Ame. "Ame! Let's get the job done!" She said to her and then flew around the pitch, looking for a ny chance she could get possession of the quaffle. She spotted one of her dearest friends with the quaffle and decided to make her move.

As Jenn was close to the Slytherin hoops, Nancy flew underneath of her and then jerked her broom hard, sending herself upwards at a fast pace. She bumped Jenn's broom a bit and then reached her hands upward and grabbed the quaffle from her, tucking it into her hand, gripping it tightly. "Sorry Jenn!" She called to her friend and then turned her broom hard to the left and positioned herself towards the Hufflepuff goal posts.

"Cover me Raisty!" She yelled out to her Co Captain and then flew as fast as she could towards the opposite end of the pitch. Nancy then saw a bludger hurling towards her from about mid-way on the pitch, thrown by Streams. Nancy had to drop her altitude quickly to avoid a collision with it. She could actually hear the thing zing past her head, that's how close she was to getting thwarted by it.

Deciding that she better hand off the quaffle, Nancy flew close to her great friend Ame. "Here ya go." She said, a sly smirk on her face. And tossed the quaffle safely into Ame's arms. "I'll fly the rest of the way with you."

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::As soon as the ball was released from Madam Hooches grip, Danielle sprung forward grasping the ball close to her chest as she let go of her broom. She did a roll where she gripped the broomstick between her legs and went counterclockwise, to avvoide Agatha. Now all that mattered was speed. Pressing the qwaffle between her body and her broom, her motions were blurred at the spped she was moving but she could still see Jenn off to her side. Doing a loopdy-loop to slow herself down she dropped the qwaffle into Jenn's awaiting arms.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Danielle growled under her breath and cursed Jenn's love of Grey's. As her broom was facing that way anyways she zoomed after Ame and was soon almost able to grab hold of the straw at the end of her broom. She laid closer to her broom and slowly moved closer and closer to the qwaffle in Ame's arms. Reaching out her hand she was just barely able to touch it, but the slight motion of her hand moving knocked her off balance and sent her crashing into Ame sending them in a swearing tangling mess heading for the ground.::

Jenn's eyes skimmed the field and audience for a moment before realizing Ame tricked her. Swirling her broomstick around, she saw Dani fly straight in Ame and plummet toward the ground. Yet the quaffle popped out of the tangled mess and Jenn swooped down to catch it before it reached the ground. Thankfully her senses fully returned as she jerked her broomstick back up. It was actually a good thing Ame said McDreamy instead of McSteamy. Jenn knew she wouldn't be able to concentrate for hours if that hunk was on her mind. Especially him in that towel scene...

Shaking her head quickly as though to knock the image out of her head, Jenn gritted her teeth, "Focus Jenn focus!" She muttered to herself as she looped around various players and aimed for the center hoop. She zoomed her broomstick straight between the two goalposts and passed them with the quaffle still clenched in her hands. However, as she passed the goal hoops, she quickly threw the quaffle over her shoulder into the right center hoop with a quick swish.

"One for us!" She said happily as she turned on her broomstick.

:Ette shook her head at the Huffle Chasers but managed to laugh with glee when she saw a Bludger coming in her direction.

doing the Huffle Shuffle, Etta shuffled backwards on her broom, whilst pushing it forward fast, swinging her bat out once more she closed one eye and with her tongue hanging out of the corner of her mouth she smashed it straight at Agatha, watching as it slammed into the tail of her broom sending her spinning in mid air at 90mph.

Dancing on her broom Etta turned and shot off after another Bludger.:

::Dani gasped as Ame pulled her to safety, most likely saving her from fatal injury. She returned her Highfive gratefully and grapped her fire bolt and leaped onto it. She silently vowed that she wouldn't ever hurt Ame on or off the field. She gritted her teeth and soared high into the sky.::

::Seeing Jenn score gave her new hope and as the ball was tossed back into play she followed after it with a smile on her face.::

"Nice once Jenn!" She called to her teammate as the joined up side by side.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn watched Dani follow the quaffle as it flew back into play. The wind ruffles strands of hair in her face as she leaned forward on her broomstick and approached Dani. With a glance around, Jenn slightly moved her right hand pulling the broom to fly in circles around Dani to protect her from opposing players and bludgers that were to stray this way. 'Drastic ploy to protect the quaffle but all fair in games and Quidditch.' Jenn thought to herself as managed to divert a bludger away from Dani and toward Streams.

With a slight nod and a hand motion, she signaled Streams to continue the next play. As she continued to fly around in circles, Jenn kept a careful eye for Stream's next move as if done wrong could injury someone on her own team.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Time for a Crafty Stripe, streams thought happily. She kept zooming
along at medium speed, and nicely intercepted the bludger with one
smooth swing.

It went barrelling straight towards Dani and she grinned at everyone's
looks of confusion. "Go on, Dani...dodge," she murmured, watching the
bludger heading for her right arm.

(Slytherin Beater and Co-Captain)

Quote :

"Go on, Dani...dodge,"

"Or not..." Raistlin whispered. Raistlin had been laying low watching all the sudden activity but now he decided to get back into action.

Seeing the bludger towards Dani Raistlin decided to add speed to it. Raistlin flew in the direction of the bludger and smack it giving speed to it

"Okay, now you can try dodge it..."

(hufflepuff Beater)



Annoyed at Rai for nearly ruining
her smooth play, streams zoomed over to Dani and knocked into her,
nearly pushing them both off. However, the bludger passed a few inches
from them, just touching the edge of streams' robe, as it flew on
towards Ame even faster than before, thanks to Rai.

(Slytherin Beater and Co-captain)

Raistlin saw Streams move and merely shrugged his sholders

"Sorry Agatha, I tried"

Raistlin saw the other bludger flying nearby

"Oh bludger" he said in a low voice

Raistlin chased after the bludger whic was flying in loops

"Weird bludger"

The bludger was in the middle of the loop when Raistlin hit it with the back of the bat to get it back on track and smashed the bad in it sending it towards a recent in recover from a near-fall Streams

"But I can still avenge you agatha" he shouted

(Hufflepuff Beater)

"Thank you for sending that Bludger TOWARDS me!" Streams chuckled. "This way I don't have to chase it."

She waited until the bludger was nearly in her face before drawing back to swing. However her sudden movement sent the bludger whooshing underneath her arm. She dove underneath it, held her bat tightly with both hands, and executed a neat Badger Nose by hitting the Bludger with the tip of her bat. It went soaring upwards, where conveniently Nancy was hanging around.

:Etta watched on amused, poor Nancy wasn't having a good day. Soaring up high, she raced to meet the other Bludger, it came hurtling towards her with an attidtude of a demented Badger being chased by hounds, flicking her bat, Etta caught the Bludger.

Time for some BadgerBall, she thought, bouncing the Bludger on her bat up and down as if she were playing mid air basketball, finally, closing in on Agatha, Etta let loose, smacking the Bludger feircly at the Slytherin chaser.:

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Chelle jumped onto her broomstick and nervously took flight for what was to be her first game of many (she hoped).

She quickly flew to the height of the pitch and kept an eye out for the snitch, whilst trying to watch the action to see what other moves she could make to help her team

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:Etta saw Chelle join the game and gave a hearty Badger Cheer for the new team mate, waving her bat like Bellatrix LEstrange would wave a love potion for Voldielocks, Etta shot off to meet a bludger.

With a sneeze and a yawn, Etta smashed her bat into the bludger and sent it hurling towards Nancy.

oh wow that's going to hurt, she thought, watching her bludger travel the lengh of the pitch to meet its victim. Turning tail, Etta zoomed off laughing.

Raistlin saw Etta's killing instintics brought back to action and couldn't help himself from smiling

"That's my girl!. Oh wait wrong team"

Raistlin focused his attention on the recent comer Ellemanae. Raistlin broadened his smile. "It's seeker hunting season!"

Raistlin grabbed the bat with both hands took a swing and hit it har and fast on the bludger above him sending straight to newbie.

It went flying at great speed to Huffie's seeker.

"Welcome to quidditch" Raistlin shouted

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Danielle followed suit on the Hufflepuff Cheer, "Welcome to the team," she called as she wizzed to where the ball was being released again. Doing a favorite move of hers which involved rolling upside down and letting go of her broom, she caught the qwaffle from Madam Hooches's release.::

::She paused and looked about here, she was ready to do a move with Jenn.::

:Etta skided mid air as she watched her favorite and onlt daddy send a Bludger to her team mate. Swishing about, turning her broom, and kicking out hard, Etta raced after the bludger narrowly reaching it and smashing it towards Agatha.

Grinning at Chelle, Etta turned and flew off once more whilst shouting over her shoulder.

"Lobe you daddy dearest!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn glanced up at the newest member and smiled happily. "Of course you'll be on this field for more games to come Chelle!" Jenn said with a wink. Glancing around, a tendril of hair flew across her face as she spotted Elana in the distance watching from the spectator's stands. Waving madly, Jenn almost fell off her broomstick as Elana cheered her on. Suddenly her smile froze as she recognized the Hufflepuff scarf around Elana's throat as her own that she lost over a month ago! Or so she thought she lost....or had it stolen...XD

Clicking her tongue for a moment, Jenn sent a fake glare in Elana's direction and looked up toward Dani. As her fellow chaser waited expectedly with the quaffle in her hands, Jenn flew beneath her and waited for her to pass the quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Dani smiled and with Jenn under her they both moved to the goals, She dropped the qwaffle into Jenn's awaiting hands at mid field and flew around so she was underneath Jenn, just in case there was a change of plans. She made a note of where Raistlin was as well as Agatha and thankfully they were no where near the two chasers. Danielle smiled and waitted for the next part of the play.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Lifting up her hands, Jenn caught the quaffle neatly in her hands. Moving quickly, she tucked the quaffle to sit on her lap as she glanced around the field. As she caught Etta's eye, she nodded to let her know of the next play. No words were needed since Etta was the Divination prof. and already knew what move she should perform next. It was kind of scary, this forseeing gift of hers. And never used for evil! Although there was this one time when she ate all the Easter eggs in the Hufflepuff house because she was the only one who knew where they were all hidden...but Jenn was sure it was an accident!

As Dani was positioned below her to protect her and the quaffle from getting stolen, Jenn gave her a grateful smile. Leaning forward, her left hand drifted downwards and grasped the broomstick tightly and aimed it straight toward the far right hoop where the keeper was waiting expectedly. As her broom sped up, she held on tightly for the anticipated impact from Etta to come.

:Etta allowed her gift of sight to glide her broom forward, allowing it take control of her body and swing her arm out at a Bludger, shifting her weight on the broom, Etta turned and smacked the Bludger directly at Jenn.

With eyes wide with antisaption and hope that she could return to Hufflepuff Common room some time soon in order to drink all the bottles of Butterbear she had confiscated from her team mates, she watched as the Bludger smashed into the tail of Jenn's broom, sending her team mate rearing off towards the left, unblocked hoop.

"WooHOO! The BTT worked! And i didnt kill Jenn!" screamed Etta as she did a small jig on her broom at the sheer luck the Badger Trio Trust move had worked without resulting in death unlike earlier practise sessions.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

:;Dani held her breath as the bludger propelled at Jenn, it was all she could do to keep her eyes from closing. She watched waiting for the qwaffle to either drop or go through the hoop. And suddenly it was over, the play was done in amazingness. She whooped loudly with her teammates and watched the qwaffle thrown back into play.::

"Way to go Etta!!!!!!!" She yelled up at their beater

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn quickly held her breath as she spotted Etta smack a bludger toward her. Squeezing her eyes shut, she prayed that this move would work a bit better then when they practiced it. After all her nose stopped bleeding after a few minutes...and Stream's...and Dani's...and the poor purple hippo going for a walk. He was only knocked out for a few minutes after all. As the bludger squarely hit her broomtail, Jenn quickly opened her eyes as the impact suddenly threw her broomstick off course in the opposite direction. As the left hoop quickly approached her, she picked up the quaffle and threw it into the hoop. Swiftly grabbing her broomstick with both hands, Jenn pulled her broomstick upwards and very narrowly missed hitting the golden rim.

With her heart still beating madly at the glimpse of death on the horizon, her life seemed to flash before her eyes. ' Who was that cute guy with the blue eyes?' Jenn thought to herself before shrugging her shoulders. 'Oh well, I'll solve the mystery later.' Grinning at her teammates, she hovered near Madame Hooch and flew upwards to catch the quaffle as it was thrown into play.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:To celebrate such a well played move, Etta raced after another Bludger and pelted it directly at Nancy.

Having hit the Bludger with such force, the bat she clung to desperately in her right hand, flew from her grasp and went pelting down to land on Agatha's head with a sickening thud.

uh oh, thought Etta as she tried to look as invisible as possible, streaking off after her bat, Etta smiled weakly at agatha before catching the offending bat and streaking off back into the game.

(Slytherin Beater and Co-Captain)

Raistlin watched Agatha's back untill she scored then he headed to the ground.

A few inches above the gound he stopped. Then surprisingly he started to standing up on his feet above the broom. He swinged a bit left and right untill he was steady still above the broom, The bat helped him to counter the wieght.

Ready Rasiltin bended his knees a bit and the broom started to elevate. When Raistlin was at the same level as the others he spotted the bludgers. Each one at one side of the field.

"Come to me your dirty stupid balls try to knock me out of my broom" That wasn't needed to say, the bludgers spotting such a visible target started to come both in his direction.

Raistlin didn't moved. When the bludgers were almost upon him he moved a little backwards with his arms streched holding the bat horizontly.

The bludgers hit both the tips of the bat at the smae time, so the impact of both was anuled by each other and momentanly they lost force and and started falling. Raistlin grabbed the oppurtunity and turned around making a circle above his broom. He hit the bludgers when they were at his waist level.

The bludgers went in the same direction together at great spped, doing spirals around each other in Etta's direction.

"Twin Bludgers Impact!" Raisltin shouted!

(Hufflepuff BEater)

:Etta's eyes widened in horror, a scream caught in her throat as she saw the bludgers coming straight for her, she looked over to Streamers, her fellow Beater and realised she'd reach Etta quick enough to help.

Breathing deeply, Etta did the only thing she could.

"BADGER DROP!" screamed Etta, flattening herself on her broom and flipping her body over so she now hung unpside down, the bludgers skimmered her knuckles as they sped past her.

Releasing her legs from the broom, with only her arms to hold her, Etta swung from left to right until finally she as sitting back on her broom safely.

With a evil glint in her eyes, Etta shot after the bludgers, grabbing Streamer's bat as she went. Catching them both, Etta did what she knew was the right thing. She smashed one down at the back of agatha's head and the other down straight at Nancy's face.

Grinning, Etta shot off without waiting to see if impact was made.:

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie quickly darted out onto the field, her broom in hand. Looking down she sighed, frustrated, and inwardly cursed herself; her robes were on backwards. "Oh flippin' well." She muttered, mounting her broom and taking off into the air. "Sorry I'm late!!" She shouted to her teammates. She had been pretty busy lately, but mostly just lazy. She had no one to blame but herself.

Once up high enough, she looked around to find her twinny. "Not Nancy, not Nancy, not Nancy, Nancy!" She said to herself, searching the sky until she found her. Weaving her way around bludgers and other players, she zoomed over to her. "So sorry I'm late." She explained to her captain and friend.

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy spotted Jessie out of the corner of her eye and a wide smile spread across her red lips. "TWINNY!" She yelled. "Don't worry about being late, here, take this!" She told her and then reached between her legs with her right hand and tossed Jessie the quaffle.

"Bring her home Twinny! I will follow you." Nancy then turned her broom around so she was directly behind Jessie and got ready to follow her to the goals.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie smiled brightly when she was handed the quaffle. "No time to get reacquainted quaffly, we need to score!" She laughed. With the quaffle tucked beneath her right arm, and her left hand gripping the front of her broom, she darted off towards the goals.

"Hmm, how to score... how to score... got it!" She said to herself as she flew closer and closer to the hoops. Keeping her eyes locked on the middle goal, she took the quaffle from under her arm and held it in front of her. When she was close enough, she stopped dead in her tracks, and tossed it up. In an instant, she grabbed the front of her broom and spun down. Upon hearing the 'thwackkk' noise of the tail of the broom colliding with the quaffle, she flipped back up only to see it soar through the hoop. Smiling, she turned around to face her twinny. "We are back in this." She chuckled.

:Etta watched the slytherin team and checked her watch before yawning.

Turning in mid air she sought out an on coming bludger and doing a quick figure of eight in the eight, Etta rounded on the Bludger, bringing down her bat in one smoothe movement she whacked the bludger directly at Jessie before racing off after another.:

Raistlin watched Etta getting nervous with the sudden activity the slytherin team was playing.

He raced to jessie and dodge the bludger from her. Then he followed Etta's move

"Sorry Ettie dear but you'll not ruin our final glory".

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:Swerving in bordom, Etta chased down yet another bludger. Time for some Badger Rock and Roll, she thought, catching the bludger and carefully guiding it with her bat, she ducked and dived, controling the bludger with her every move until she was a couple of feet behind Nancy, finally with all her strengh Etta smashed the Bludger straight at the Slytherin Chaser.:

Raistlin observed Etta "Darn she's good! I'll to knock her out or she'll keep on doing damage.

Raistlin caught up with a bludger and sent it diogonally to the left, racing to caught up with it again he sent it diagonally to the right, therefore moving like a snake . Peopl look weirdly at him "What? It's the Snake Path!"

when he was near Etta he smacked the bludger straight to her knees.
