Subject: Sign-ups for Holiday Quidditch Match! Mon Dec 11 2006, 05:00

Hello Everyone!

Hogwarts Experience would like to invite you to play in our first ever Holiday Quidditch Game! No house boundaries will be found here! Teams will also be mixed on a random basis. The great thing about this is that anyone can play! You don't have to be on your house team or have experience. This is a chance for everyone to get a taste of Quidditch - the Wizarding World and HE's favorite sport! Keep in mind this game is for fun so you don't have to worry about being judged on how you play. Although this doesn't mean you can break the rules since the same ones in a real game will apply. If you are interested in being on a team please leave a post with the position you wish to play. We will try to give you the position you ask for but if we can't then we'll fit you somewhere on the roster. This game will take place around Christmas. A specific date will be revealed later and there might be a chance of earning house points as well. Thanks to Castledown for the lovely banner and the idea to host a holiday match! OOhh..more quidditch! I am a Slytherin chaser, but I would love to play a beater, but I will take any position.

I've always been a Chaser but I suppose if there's too many I could try something else...

There's waaay too many people signing up for Chaser...but if it's by teams, I think there might still be a Slytherin Chaser Position Open. So Count me in for that! If not, then a Beater. If not, then I don't want to play. lol

This is the current list of sign-ups. To clarify a few things:

Firstly, sorry guys, but not everyone can be a chaser. We'll try and accomodate as many people as possible, but if you all sign up to be one, some of you are going to be disappointed.

Secondly, this tournament is non-partisan with regards to Houses. That means teams will not be formed out of the Slytherin players, or the Ravenclaw players etc. Lily and I will randomly choose teams under a Captain, and they will be from all Houses.

Continuing from what my partner Jimmy has said - we just need one more person to make four full teams. Signups will be closed once that one person signs up. If need be - a third game will be opened if a team is gathered - meaning you would need 2 teams to make a game. So keep that in mind.

Below you will be able to find your name, position and the team you'll be playing on. More information about dates will come shortly. If you are listed as a captain please consult with your team mates. It's your job to come up with a name for your team surrounding the christmas holidays. It can also be Harry Potter related but we'd like to keep true to the christmas theme. With that said - good luck to all!
