After The Quidditch Match

The Quidditch Match was finally over, and Hayley climbed off her broom, breathing heavily. She grinned to herself. They had won.Holly caught the snitch, just minutes to the end of the game,and Hayley had sved numerous goals.She thought back ot her Keeper audition, she had been nervous,and hadn't done so well. Now, she was great. Natalie, Holly and herselfwere the best on the team. She flopped onto a bench, and waited for her friends to join her.

Holly joined her soon after.
"Nice match," she said approvingly, "I assumed we were beat after the first half. But well done. All of you."
She grinned.
"Im hungry. Lets venture to the Great Hall,"

Hayley smiled. "Aye, let's," she said, thinking of food.

Natalie, who had done a victory lap, landed.

"I thought we were beat too...stupid Michelle Pecks and Dena Fredrick...hardly passed me the Quaffle at all in the first half," said Natalie, scowling at the other two chaser's backs as they made their way to the changing rooms, "they've always been jealous of me."

"Of course they have," Hayley reassured her, patting her on the back. "Now, I need some tea...."

"And if that's not enough...they make fun of me just because I'm a swot...and with my birthday coming up too...It makes me feel sad...you know," said Natalie sadly.

Hayley frowned, then conjured a small box for Natalie. "Early birthday pressie," she said smiling. "I got it a while ago...but you need it now babes," she laughed. Inside the box was a pair of silver earings, encrusted with blue-green diamonds.

"Oh. My. Gosh." said Natalie, "they're so beautiful. Thank you so much Hayley. I can't believe you remembered I liked them....remember I told you...that day in Hogsmeade...aw..Thanks Hayls," Natalie eye's welled up with tears of happiness, "and here's a party invite for you Hayley...and on for you Holly." Natalie handed the invites out.

Hayley took the invite, and hugged Natalie. "You deserved them babe, and thanks for the invite," she said smiling.

"Thanks for mine," Holly said through a mouthful of arm, "Yes," she added to the looks on their faces, "I was so hungry I ate my own arm,"

"Come on Glen slash Glenda...lets get you inside and polished," said Natalie fondly to her firebolt.

She looked at the staring faces and blushed.

"Well...sometimes my firebolt likes to be a girl, other times a boy," said Natalie, "but I've made my peace with it."

The one armed girl ((LOOK AT MY LAST POST!!)) looked scared.
She took her one good arm and placed it over the stump on her other one.
"Why did I just eat my own arm?" Holly asked sadly, "Now I only have one!"

"Well that was stupid," said Natalie, "and you can't even tell madam pomfrey a bludger hit it off...she was watching the match."

Hayley glared at Holly, fighting back a laugh. "You freak," she said jokingly.

"Do you want me to donate an arm to you again....cause I have a spare," said Natalie, smiling.

"Sure," Holly said shrugging, ignoring the stream of blood issuing from her. At least she was full.

Hayley blinked several times, wondering if this was a dream.

Natalie pulled her arm off. She didn't scream even though she was in great pain, and gave it to Holly, along with some duck tap. She took her spare arm out of her book-bag and attached it to herself by magic.

"Aw, thank you!" Holly said thankfully, and reattached Natalies arm to her.

Natalie looked at Holly and laughed. Her other arm and Natalie's donar arm were completely different sizes.

Hayley stared, still shocked.

"Aw man!" Holly said surprised, "They're different sizes!"

Natalie laughed.

"Yeah...what will madam pomfrey say?" Natalie asked, still giggling madly.

"Ooooookay..." said hayley, still wide eyed.

jamie stood in a corner watching the goings on, ut everything was just a blurr, he hadn't blinked in quiet a while. he tended to this very often.

Hayley turned around and saw Jamie. "Jamie!" she said, waving her hand, "C'mon over!"

Natalie smiled warmly at young Jamie.

"hey!"
he walked over, "whats even going on here, ive only just arrived!" he smirked at his fashionible lateness

"Um...dude...the match is like, over," said Natalie, "we won 200-10."

"Now thats exageration pet," Holly said seriously, "It was 300-10! AHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! WORLDS BEST SEEKER BABY!"

"And worlds first ever nerd to be a decent chaser!" exclaimed Natalie.

"WAY HEY!" Holly said, holding her hand out to give a high five.

Natalie high fived Holly.

Holly laughed.
"We are cool peoples," she noted.

Jamie nodded and laughed
"i think i might have knew the match is over, but this is what they call an after parrrttttaaaayyyyyy, but you wouldn't know that! your too nerdy! i didn't acctually know about the match scores though... i was in DADA revising for my OWL year...." he told them proudly

"YOU are the nerdy one," Holly said poking Jamie gently in the stomach, "I on the other hand, am the figure of cool. Nat is nerdy though ill admit that,"

"I was revising last night...we are so alike," said Natalie, noting the similarities which she never had seen before.

"don't poke me!" he hissed playfully

"hahaha! Natalie you are such a swat! im just so glad we can all have fun with our penuiltimate year in hogwarts!" Jamie added at Holly sarcastically

Hayley looked at the great hall. "Party anyone?" she asked grinning.

"Ooooooh Party in the house!" said Natalie, grinning broadly.

Holly looked at her.
"No," she said simply, "Just no."
She looked at Jamie, poked him, and ran on ahead.

Hayley giggled and followed Holly into the Great Hall, where she could hear the sweet sound of Gryffindor celebration.

Natalie smiled at the sound of the cheers.

"Glad to be of service my dear friends," said Natalie, smiling around, "Oh stop gawking!" she added, for the other two Gryffindor chasers were staring at her with expression that looked like they were about to laugh, "at least I can score goals."

Hayley smirked at the two gawping idiots, and laughed. Suddenly she was confroned by a large Slytherin chaser. "Oh," said Hayley when she cracked her knuckles. "Ooh, you're the one I stopped from scoring five times!" she said laughing. The other girl growled, and Hayley pushed past her grinning.

Natalie grinned.

"The girl was as ugly as get out," she whispered to Hayley, watching the Slytherin chaser flounce off with her possy.

Hayley had just taken a drink of juice, and spat it out as she laugehd at the comment Natalie just made.

Holly snorted apprivingly.
"Finally youve learned to verbally abuse people," she said lovingly.

Natalie got a face-full of back-washed Pumpkin juice that Hayley had just spat out.

"Was that really necessary?" Natalie asked, wiping it off herself.

Hayley giggled, and wiped Natalie down, "Soz Natz, ma bad," she said, getting a little tipsy on a firewhiskey.
