| i think it would be cool if muggles could fiy around at school but they would be scareed at first. imagine if there was a wizard who brought in a broom and strated to fly around on it. i would freek people out. Also if the muggles did want to fly it they might get too egar and just jump on a broom and try o fly only hurtting themselves | |

| Yes, I agree, its dangerous escpecially with muggles. They would of coarse have ot have rrestrictions on when and where you can fly. | |

| I don't see why muggles would get freaked out over flying lessons. Sure, it's something new. But Muggles have invented many things which enable them to fly in the air without magic, such as hang gliders, hot air balloons etc.
So while some Muggles may be afraid to fly enchanted broomsticks just because they wouldn't understand what's keeping the broom in the air, I'm sure many Muggles would enjoy the experience once they were taught how to fly broomsticks correctly.

| Well, that is probably exactly why they are also scared of us, wizards, because they don't understand. It would be pretty cool though, for them to forget their fear and let us teach them. Maybe they could even start playing Qudditch, this way wizards wouldn't have to hide anymore when playing Quidditch. It would also help the environement if they would fly brooms instead of driving cars. | |

| Yes but if they knew about us they would want us to cast spells just so that they can get things that they want. Would you want your nieghbor asking you every day something that they want and cant get without magic that would be annoying after a while | |

| unfortunately, that's also true... there's also no guarantee that they wouldn't start witch-burning all over again, muggles are crazy...
well, then I guess we have to let muggles use their own ways of flying, some of which are really interesting evidence of muggle inventivity. Aeroplanes, for example, have developed a lot and have gotten bigger and bigger and that's a pluspoint towards wizard air transport, because you can take many people on board so not everybody is required to have his own broom and be know how to fly it.

| I agree with christina. Some muggle ways are even better than the magical ones, and the wizards are just too arrogant to believe that muggles could be that smart. Instead of wizards teaching muggles to fly on broomsticks, muggles could teach wizards a thing or two about all their different flying inventions. | |

| But then there would br wizards trying to improve the muggles stuff and this might cause even more problems. | |

| This is just a reminder that this discussion is still running!
so...to get your brains thinking, here's a question for you...
If muggles are oblivious of the wizarding world do you really think we should expose ourselves just to teach them a thing or two about flying?

| Well, if the muggles only had muggle non-magical abilities but more open minds, like we wizards have, it would be a nice thing to do. But they have.. muggle minds, so I wouldn't trust them. And as stephy already said, they've got their own means of air transport, which work just fine for them. | |

| Muggles have came up with a lot of stuff and sooner or later they might come up with something that acts like a flying broom even though it would proibably take a few hundard years to do something like that. | |
