Great War of the Wizarding World

Since the beginning of the world, lots of things have happened. Some good things, but some more sad, like wars. Even in the wizarding world, nobody can escape from it.

Today, I want you to tell me, in an essay of at least 350 words, though no longer than 900, about a great war that changed the course of magical history. Was it during the founder’s era, or even before that? Or maybe it was later on.

First part

You have to tell me…

- What name did wizards give to that war?
- Who were mainly involved?
- What was lost from that war?
- What was gained?
- What were the years of that war?
- Name two men or women that were considered as heroes of that war, and why is that.

This part is worth 45 points


Second part

Choose one of those two said heroes and give me a short biography of merely around 50-100 words. You can also put a picture, but if there is no small text with it, no points will be given.

This part is worth 5 points



NOTE: You cannot choose the war that is to come between the side of good and evil, with Voldemort! The war you are describing has to be a thing of the past, not the future.

War of Minisrty Workers

Many years after the time of the great and famous Harry Potter and Voldemort there was a war being raged between the Ministry workers. Some of the workers decided to form their own groups like the deatheaer did and try to take over the Ministry. If they were in control of the Ministry then they were in control of the wizardry community. After many years of groups being formed there were two important groups that were involved in this war. It was the Anti-Ministry (AM as they were called) and the Ministry approvals workers (MAW as they were called). The leader of the AM was Douglas Mcfanner and the leader of the MAW was Sally Sanders. Douglas wanted to be in control and after bribing a few workers he made it to the top and planned on controlling the Minister with one of the unforgivable curses. Because Sally hated Douglas she kept a close eye on him and after watching him for a few years she knew what he was up to so she started her own group and they called themselves the MAW. Because the MAW worked together and Am worked by themselves the MAW were able to over through the AM. How they did this was by telling the other workers that Sally trusted what was happening and these workers helped on another to get to Sally to the top and close to the Minister and once Sally got there she was going to tell the Minister what was going to happen to him if they didn’t act fast. The only thing wrong with this plan was that by the time Sally got to the top she had noticed that the Minister was already under the curse. Sally had no choice but to kill Douglas. First she tried to get help from others but they refused to help because they knew that they would end up in Azkaban. So after many months of the wizardry world was being destroyed Sally decided to step up and take action since no one else would. Douglas had received word what was going to happen and got the AM to group together and he told them to kill Sally. While Sally was in her study she noticed a noise outside her window and when she went to inspect it she found a group of men trying to kill her. In the end Sally ended up killing 5 Am members and after word of this spread the MAW members decided to help Sally. Sally sent word to Douglas that they were going to have a battle if he would not leave the Minister alone. Douglas refused and they started to fight right in the middle of the day in the middle of the Ministry. After a few months of battle the MAW won and some more months later the Ministry was restored back to running properly.


Sally Sanders

Sally Sanders was a woman who was afraid of fight for what she be lived in. The thing she loved the most was her work at the Ministry. She was working with Magical Creature until a short time before the war she became the Secretary. She was born in Texas, U.S.A. but moved to England when she was granted a job at the Ministry. Not much is know about Sally because she liked to keep to herself and didn’t like to stand out too much. Most information about her is all during the war and even then there wasn’t much.

Part One

The Great War of Badger was given its name by the worlds greatest Witches Mimi and Ettie. The war mainly consisted of the two witches, a purple hippo, a group of one eyed pirates, a distressed looking Elf and a bunch of evil muggles!
The war brought many causalities and the disappearance of the one and Only Dancing Badger of Hufflepuff's Great Great grand elf.

In the year of 1001, Muggles across England began to kill defenseless badgers. This infuriated two clever and stunningly beautiful Witches named Mimi and Ettie who were loyal to badgers from their hearts and souls. Banning together the witches began to pul in support for the innocent Badgers and with a little help from a lost group of one eyed pirates and a purple hippo, Mimi and Ettie took to the streets of England and declared war on everyone who so much as harmed another badger.

The Muggles of England laughed at the odd group and continued to kill the Badgers, this enraged the witches who began to hunt down the killers, the hunters of Badgers soon became the hunted.Soon the Muggles wondered upon a distressed looking Elf who was harboring Badgers for their own safety. Blood spilled into the streets as the witches raced to rescue the scared Old Elf who had guided and taught the girl everything they knew about the magical world. Drawing their wands, they united as one entity and blasted Muggles left right and center. The one eyed pirates soon became lost to the cause as they began to mis direct their spells onto each other. All that remained of the pirates was their Captain Purple Hippo.

AS the witches gathered pace on the Muggles who were holding the old Elf, they found themselves turn. In front of them lay two paths, one which led the way to the old Elf and one which led the way to the scared innocent badgers. Thinking fast the girls separated and went their separate ways, Mimi ran to defend and protect the Badgers whilst Ettie headed for the kidnappers and the old Elf.

Of course now would be a good time to point out that Ettie was blonde and often rather trigger happy with her wand. It was on a cold September night that Ettie made her biggest mistake. Waving her wand wildly in the air she took down the kidnappers and then in her jubilation at saving the old Elf she accidentally invented a deadly curse, so deadly it killed the old Elf, the Avada Kedarva curse was born out of pure accident. Torn with grief and admiration for her brilliant discovery, Ettie ran off to assist Mimi who was failing in her battle to protect the badgers. Flying her arms in the arm Ettie declared to a stunned battle field that she had just created the most wonderfully dangerous spell known to the magical world and proceeded to show this curse by wiping out the Muggles.

When asked by a concerned Mimi where the Old Elf was, Ettie looked at her feet in shame. Mimi let out a howl of pain and screamed at Ettie "Why?" the blonde girl merely pointed to her hair. Taking hold of her friend Mimi nodded her head slowly and whispered something to Ettie.

The following day the magical world celebrated, it had been a long hard week of battle. Mimi and Ettie were declared heroes for their attempts to save the Badgers and the old Elf. No one knew what really happened to the old Elf only that Muggles had grown tired of him and had killed him using the poor elf's wand.


Part Two

Ettie MalfoyHuffle was a mere genius until she teamed up with her friend and sought out their master the old elf who taught them things beyond their belief.
With the death of their teacher, Ettie went off and married a handsome man, had a family, and passed down the knowledge that she had created the killing curse.
