Round Four: Match Two

::Elly stepped into the blizzard. She ould barely see infront of her face. She was about to cast a spell to get rid of this blasted weather but thought better of it.

"Proteção do tempo,"(weather protection) she said and pointed her wand into the sky. A white light shot out her wand and dissapeared into the sky. No one could change the weather now.

"Camuffamento del corpo," (Body Camouflage) Now she blended in with the snow. She wasn'tcompletely invisible but close enough.

~right, what elsedo I need to do to protect myself~ elly shivered ~ah, a little heat would be nice. I think I'll go with a heat bubble~

"hitte bel," (heat bubble) Elly felt warmth wash over her

~much better. ok, lets see~

"vetro disarmantesi," a large glass wall appeared a few feet infront of elly, sheilding her from anyone entering the field. The only way in. No one could fly in, it was too dangerous with weather like this, and apparating wasn't posisble. They're still on hogwarts grounds. Elly smiled and readied herself for the first attack::

Raistlin stepped into the blizzard and felt the cold. ~Ah! So relaxing. Cold’s my element of choice. I bet my enemies will be wasting their energy trying to fight it. I’ll have no need of that~ Raistlin thought.

He moved a little furder but the wind was delaying him and co-joined with the snow was making it hard for him to see ahead ~This migh be a problem~ “Обратный Щит Снежной бури (Reverse Blizzard Shield in Russian)!” this would anule the blizzard just around him.

Walking more freely now and with his vision clear he continued but then stopped again as due to his dark green robes he felt like a beacon in all that white that surrounded him. “WINTER DIE TARNUNG (Winter Camouflage in German)!” he casted pointing his wand to his robes that turned the same white as the snow. Then pointed to his face and spelled “TENNER AVSPEILING (Light Reflecting in Norwegian)!” this charm would making him reflect light and so become invisible.

When he arrived the duel field he hit something invisible. He touched and then knocked on it. ~Hum glass~ he though smirking ~Someone has already arrived!~ he reprimanded himself for not having arrive earlier.

~Time for building protections~ “Ледниковый Лед (Glacial Ice in Russian)!” he shouted pointing to himself he was covered with a fine layer of eternal ice, no fire related spell would harm him now. Next pointing to his feet he shouted “PUMASFÜßE (Puma Feet in German)!” he now had the agility and velocity of a puma so he’d be able to run fast in the snow and dodge his enemies attacks.

Not happy he contined “FLOCONS DE NEIGE DE DIAMANT (Diamond Snowflakes in French)” the snowflakes that were around him would turn hard stone diamonds and formed not only a hard shield but also as the snowflakes were constanlty revolving around him due to the blizzard the shield would regenerate himself constantly getting its fuel from the blizzard.

Feeling ready Raistlin pointed his wand to the invisible wall “PUÑETAZO INVISIBLE (Invisible Punch in Spanish)!” the wall broke immediatly passing through the glass shattered pieces he observed the field no one was visible apparantly, though he was not either, his enemy would have only heard his shouting from the spells.

E decided to wait to see if the person would do something but then changed his mind. Pointing his wand to his tongue he spelled “ODORE DI SERPENTE (Snake’s scent)” through his tongue he’d caught scent particles in the wind and discovered his enemy. There, in the middle of the field. ~Elly again!~ he though ~And with another bubble again I bet~

This time he really waited to see what his enemy wold do next.

::Dancing who had seen worse weather than this stepped onto the palying feild with confidience. He wand was drawn and she had on a light white robe, having grown in Russia she was used to the cold. She conjuered a another white cloak of rabbit fur, hoping that if anyone had decided to increase their sense's using animal traits she would only apear as a rabbit to them.

::She pointed her wand to her eyes, whispering "revealio" she found that she could see further than before. And smiled, and tightened her gloves.

::Walking father she saw an abnormatly, she pointed her wand to her eyes again and said, "Enhanse" her eyes began those like an Egale, she saw that before her there was a mound similar to a crystal, but it seemed to be moving! She concentrated on the figure harder and saw that it had a face, looking even closer she guessed it was male. Pointing her wand at it she whispered, "Stupify!"

::The glass wall shattered infront of her. Elly cursed under her breath ~didn't protect it properly~ she thought. Wanting to know who she was up against Elly decided to change her vision to that of a dragon.

"Visão do dragon" (vision of Dragon) Elly peered through the snow, things showing up amazingly clear. The snowflakes looked like crystals or diamonds. But when Elly looked harder she saw they were diamonds. behind these diamonds was a boy, she couldn't quite make him out "Запах дракона" (smell of dragon) Elly picked up the scent immediatly. Raistlin. She could smell the fear pulsating off him but was trying to get covered up by confidence. "Pah" elly said.

"Возвратите К Нормальному" (return to normal) Elly's vision and smell returned to tehir human state. her vision suddenly clouded by snow and smell became weak. But before it finally faded Elly sensed another person enter the field. She smelt a girl. A hufflepuff. But the scent was lost. Elly had to get rid of that protection around rai

"Trümmer-Diamanten!!" (shatter diamonds) Elly heard thousands of diamonds explode. And just as this happened the girl, the hufflepuff yelled "Stupify!" Elly smiled. rai would get hit and probably had no other protection. he wouldn't expect the two to unexpectably gang up on him::

::Dani waitted to see if her spell had worked, and saw diamonds flying off the man, she smiled and sensed another presance on the field, and seeing the flakes landing wrong, in a section not to far off. Seeing the stupidfied figure of her opponent told her he was trying to get through that abnormalty.

::Dani held her wand at the ready and whispered, "Hedde (hide)" and she melted almost into the snow. She waitted to see what her other opponent would do next

::Elly couldn;t see anyone now. The other huffelpuff was no where to be seen. Elly decided on a revealing spell. She liked to face her opponents when duelling.

"Revele!" (reveal) The spell shot out in all directions. Elly walked forward a bit and saw the hufflepuff in the snow. It was dani

"A bit of a weak hiding spell tehre dani." Elly smirked. She raised her wand

"Corda della neve!" (snow rope) The snow around dani jupped into thick coils of snow. It crawled up her legs and bound her tightly. The snow turned solid. Stronger then ice, stronger then diamond. it help her there in that unbreakable bind::

::Dancing took a shuddering breath, and cursed as the ice encased her. She pointed her wand at the new layer of skin and said "Reducto!" The ice shattered cutting into her skin, she grimanced.

:: Pointing her wand at Elly she yelled "temporale di fuoco (Fire storm)" and ducked into the snow. Running to the right to the right she colided with a clear wall. "Damn" she said falling back. She looked up in time to see Lily's retreating figure. She pointed her wand at the wall, "Reducto!" She said again hoping it would cave in. But it didn't yeild. She swore again.

::Looking around she saw that Elly was recovering from the attack and Raist was pushing himself off the ground. She swore again, and pointed her wand at them

Raistlin watched Dancing arriving at the field and then trying to jinx him. He wasn’t worried but suddenly for a moment the diamond snowflakes shaterred and Raistlin was forced to dodge the jinx which he was able due to his puma’s feet agility and soon again his diamonds snowflake returned as the spell feef itself from the blizzard so unless the blizzard stopped the shiled wouldn’t end.

~Someone’s gonna pay for that!~ Raistlin thought angrily.

After Raistlin recovered he noticed Dancing had disappeared but was revealed again seconds later and then was tied in icy ropes.

Raistlin was about to fought back when ice walls surrounded him, Dancing and Elly. Before noticed Dancing got rid of the ice ropes and sent a fire storm to Elly. Raistlin wasn’t worried if the storm’d get him as he was protected against fire spells.

Then he had an idea. ~Dancing’s fire storm will be usefull after all~ Poiting his wand to the storm he shouted “DE UITBREIDING (Expansion in Dutch)” he storm got bigger and filled the space and started melting the ice walls.

Raistlin stood quietly in the middle hearing Elly’s and Dancing’s screams. When the walls were finally melted Raistlin left the place and smelled the air.. there was a fourth scent. ~Hum... My other enemy must be disguised, but can still tell where she is~

Raistlin walked in the opposite direction where he knew his other opponent was and then sat on the ground in a buda position facing his enemy. In a whisper he casted “TROISIÈME OEIL (Third Eye in French)” he now could see with his eyes closed through the thirs eye, the eye of the mind.

He then started to build more defences around him “IL FUOCO PROTETTIVO APPALLOTTOLA (Protective Fire Balls in Italian)” now anyone who got two meters away from him would be attacked by multiple fire balls. But raistlin couldn’t only rely on that “Земные Трещины (Earth Cracks in Russian)” if his enemy passed the fireballs and reached one meter from him the ground’d begin to crack swallowing them.

Finally he upgraded his diamond snowflakes “PERSEGUIDORAS ELÉCTRICAS DE CALOR DE CUERPO (Electric Body Heat Chasers in Spanish)” if his enemy was good enough to pass his first two defences it would be chased by electrified diamond snowflakes that would chase them through their body heat and pierced their flesh and give them an electric shock

::Elly burst into flames. She screamed and though quickly on the spot. So many things were going on around her but she needed to extinguish the flames

"doof!" (extinguish) She yelled. The flames were instantly gone, but left her sore.

"Reparatur" (repair) she said, this was only a temorary fixture but it would have to do.

"Now that wasn;t very nice was it?!" Elly shouted, sheheard all kinds of protective spells being used. And an especially nice one she could use, ~thank you lily~

The spell she was about to use had no protection. It just knocked you out there and then. but first "Réveil." (awakening) elly wanted to make sure she didn;t get knocked out herself.

"charme d'évanouissement!" (fainting spell) Elly yelled and pointed her wand in the direction of the voice she heard cast that useful spell. The faitning spell bounced off lilys mirror deflect. It spread in all directions, and would travel far. The spell passed over Elly, the warmth filled her, making her drowsy, but she stayed awake and focused. Elly heard the satisfying crunch of the snow where the two bodies collapsed on teh floor. She smirked.

~now to deal with lily. Seems a shame to battle against my fellow ravenclaw but it must be done. every person for themselves~ Elly thought::

Holly stepped into the open field and instantly wrapped her arms around herself. It must have been below zero weather and the blizzard wasn't helping much. There was no way that she could see in this horrible atmosphere. She would have to come up with a way.

It just had to be a blizzard she thought angrily.

Taking out her wand, Holly muttered "réchauffement "(warm) She felt herself warming up and decided to put up another chamr on herself as she started to run down the field. "absorbez le bouclier" (absorb shiled). Whenever an opponent would cast her spell on her, her shield will absorb it. Then, letting her use the same exact spell against another. It took some energy, but it was definatly worth it.

"As Holly jogged down the field, she was thrown backwards as a large ice spear shot up from the ground beneath her. She landed hard on her back and sat up, looking around, but with the blizzard it was hard to see. So shw waved her wand again and muttered, "augmentez la vue" (heighten sight) It wasn't restored fully, but she could see a little better.

Holly could have sworn as she peered around that a ball of fire had come her way. She was right! She ducked as another and another was sped her way.

What on earth? She thought as she narrowly side stepped another fireball. She could not tell who was throwing them, but whoever it was - they were clever. Maybe if she blended in with the snow, the fireballs couldn't detect her.

mélange avec l'environnement" (blend with environment) She blended against the snow and it seemed that the fireballs did come to a stop, but she wasn't exactly sure.

::Elly saw the protective spells become actuive. Someone else had entered the duel. And because they were late her fainting spell hasdn't caught them. Elly cursed and thought up a new spell. She decided to try her snow rope again.

"Corda della neve!" (snow rope) this time the rope would coil round the new person, and bind them to the ground and then freeze and would keep the person stuck tehre. It was like diamond this frozen snow so it would proove almost impossibleto escape. And with the spells with fire and ice spears coming out the ground Elly almost felt sorry for the new dueler::

::Dancing fell into a quick sleep but was awakened soon by a growling sound. She opened her eyes and looked into the ice blue ones of the wolf that was standing near her. She saw that Lily, not far off, was the on controling it. She pointed her wand to her mouth and whispered, " Животное говорит (animal Speak in Russian)" She looked the wolf in the eyes and told him to attack Elly or Raistlin. The wolf made a nodding gesture.

:: Dancing pretened to still be knocked out as she hadn't moved at all with her conversation with the wolf. She pointed her wand slowly at Lily muttering. "Corde del fuoco (Fire ropes in Italian)" She waitted until the spell had reached it's target before springing to her feet.

::She made a jabbing motion at Rasitlin yelling, "Reducto!" and running in the oppisite direction. As she made her way through the snow she pointed her wand at herself saying, "Ghiaccio protettivo, (Protective Ice), piedi rapidi (swift feet), occhio dell'aquila (eye of the eagle)" She looked around, and gave herself one more spell. "Bonne sagesse (good wisdom)" It was temporary and not nearly as good as Felix Felicis but it would help, or at least she hoped it would.

::Dancing made her way back to the group, her wand at the ready. She came around another way then from which she had so cowardly left. And emerged into a somewhat circle of melted ice and five figures. She smiled

~hm~ elly thought ~a meer growl of a wolf shouldn't have woken her up, ah well, what is done is done~

::The snow was lessening and it was clearer to see. But then Elly saw a giant wold coming towards her. ~sigh~ she thought ~This is going to be too easy~

"Wingardium leviosa," Elly said lazily, the wolf lifted of the ground, cofnusion on it's face. Elly placed it on the cliff above out of harms way ~I don;t want to hurt the poor thing~ Whille dancing dealt with lily elly took her chance.

"Neige collante." (sticky snow) The snow at danings feet bubbled and became a gloopy white paste. The hufflepuff tried to step but her feet were stuck to the ground. ~that should hold her for a while, but so she doesn;t cvast any spells, "élévation de neige" (snow rise) the sticky paste rose and wrapped itself around the scared little hufflepuff. "You should be nice and warm now!" Elly shouted.

Now ELly had a bit of time she decided to up her defenses

"La previsione di ortografa" (foresight of spells) Elly could now see what spells were goinjg to be used and be able to block them instantly.
"Schutz vor Elementen" (protection from elements) Any spells involving wind, earth, fire or water would immedietly be stopped and mirrored. Elly smiled and thought of one more spell to use.

"Eisfort!!" (ice fort) She yelled, the snow suddenly started to move underneath her and it climbed up, vreating a larghe fort of snow. It turned into hard ice, harder then glass. She protected it from heat quickly "protezione contro il calore!" Now she could see over the whole field. All blanketed white and she coul see all that was going on. Elly felt safe up here::

::Before the snow incased her, Dancing using her good wisdom charm sprung forward landing in the snow. She crawled forward and gasped for breath, she pointed her wand at her feet which were somewhat glued together. "Розтаньте (melt)" and the snow faded away.

:: Looking back at Elly. she yelled, "Ijsje kooi (Ice cage)" She watched as the snow froze and covered Elly's Hands in cages so she couldn't preform any spells

Raistlin was quietly sitting in the ground scenting the air in the search of his enemies. But then one of the scents multiplied itself and was coming from two different directions. ~Hum clever~ he thought ~but not clever enough~ Raistlin knew where his oponent was because the scent was more intense in one of the places.

Before Raistlin decided what to do, thanks to his third eye he sensed a movement of the ground below him. Quickly he jumped just before ice spears bursted from the ground, still in air Raistlin pointd his wand at the ice spears and shouted “تيار النار. (Fire Stream in Arabic)!”, a stream of fire melted the ice spears and so he landed safely in the ground again.

Next a stone guard appeared from the ground. Raistlin wasn’t worried a stone guard was not intelligent enough to pass through his defences. His fireballs immediatly started to attack the guard but were unaffected on him. However when he was a meter away only the ground began to crack untill it swallowed the guard into the Earth’s intrails and closed back.

Raistlin saw a flash of light flying from Elly and hit something invisible where he knew his other opponent were, though the flash light rebounced through all the field and penetrated through the tiny gaps his, contanst in movement diamond snowflakes, shield made and that way a part of it hit Raistlin. Raistlin bented on his knees into the ground feeling an urge to sleep ~Oh no I can’t fall asleep~ Raistlin was too mentally numb to perform a spell so he had to take on extreme, desperate, mugglish and archaic method. Breaking one of the ice spears that still surrounded him he stabbed his thigh. Raistlin grimaced but then urge of sleep only faded a little so he stabbed deeper untill he reached the bone then he let out a scream “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” though the trick had worked and we was mentally alert again. His blood was tainting the snow red. He tore on of his sleeves and warpped it around the wound.

Raistlin’s fireballs went back to action which meant one of his enemies was near but he couldn’t see it so he thought it was a flaw in his defence from the injured he had just self inflicted.

Raistlin started hearing wolves snarls ~The blood!~ Raistlin thought ~It must have tease them. Well they better not get much near or my fireballs will turned inot fried wolves~ Next a tunnel of wind surround him and his other two adversaries (Raistlin has not realised Brunnet has entered the field yet)

Raistlin heard someone shout “Reducto” in his direction but couldn’t possible make what was that suposse to do to him in that moment.

Tired of having spent the whole duel defending Raistlin decided that the better defense was a good attack. Once Elly was momentanly incapacitated due to Dancing’s spelll he decided to focus on Dancing as he knew Lily would wait to see what would happen.

Pointing ti the snow at Dancing’s feet he shouted “BOMBARDA!” the explosion made the snow fly in every direction distracting Dancing long enough for Raistlin disarm her “EXPELLIARMUS!” he shouted pointing at Dancing, her wand flew away leaving her unprotected so Raistlin taking advantage of this castes “WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!” and so he lifted Dancing in the air and placed her in the wind tunnel around him and so went went twriling around.

Then he watched Elly up above in her ice fort. Raistlin aimed his want to one spot and casted “חור (Perforation in Hebrew)!”. He repeated this gesture in another ten spots. The fort was now weekend as even the strongest wall can be demolish if we make holes in the right places. So Raistlin pointed his wand to the middle of the fort and shouted “PONCHE INVISIBLE (Invisible Punch in Spanish)!”. The fort began to crack and finally broke. He sawElly falling and before she could reover Raistlin did to her what he had done to Dancing and placed her also in the wind tunnel where both were no twirling around.

~There’s only one left~ he thought ~Lily! This will not be so easy.~ Raistlin guessed what protection she had when elly’s spell rebounced back, a Mirror Delfect Shield of some kind.

Finally Raistlin decided to use one of the weapons je had been saving for the final duel. “ACCIO CHAINS” he shouted. Several minutes went by but then he saw two shiny silvery chains flying towards him. These had been well guarded in his dormitory. When the chains fell at his feet he spelled “KETTEN VERKÖRPERN (Chains Embody in German)!” the chains attached to each of Raistlin’s arm and become part of him. The chain in the right arm ended in a ball and the chain in the left arm ended in an arrow.

Raistlin moved for the next part pointing t he wand to the chains he shouted “Δ ανδρομέδα αλυσίδα (Andromeda’s Chains in Greek)!”. Good Raistlin was such a mythology lover. According to myth Andromeda was chained to rock, so there were no other chains with such symoblism and power. Andromeda’s chains are mainly made for defendind but they can attack also and one of its big feautres is that it always finds its enemies wether they’re miles or dimensions appart.

The right chain, the one with a ball in the edge and the one responsible for defending twirled around Raistlin forming a five meter circle around him. If anyone stepped on it would be electrified or if anyine or anything tried to attack him the chain would protect him and defeat his enemy. This left Raistlin to fulle concentrate on Lily.

Spinning the left chain, the one with the arrow and the one made to attack and search for its enemies, in the air he threw it to where he new lily was and shouted “νεφέλωμα τησ ανδρομέδασ αλυσίδα (Andromeda ‘s Nebulous Chain in Greek)!”. The chain reached the spot where Elly’s spell had previuoly rebounced but instead of rebouncing it got in and disappeared inside. Raistlin knew that mirror shields worked like a second dimension that turn the spells back. The chain continued to enter the shiled and finally broke when having reached the other side where lily was it tied around lily and gave her an electric shock making the shield disappear and leaving her numb. The wind tunnel stopped as well and broken the connection the wolves started to walk away.

Raistlin placed Lily in the middle of the field and searched Elly and Dancing also still numb as well and placed the two near Lily. Raistlin didn’t had much time till they fully recover so he worked quickly. Unwrapping his sleeve around his wound he poor his blood in five spots around the three forming a penthagram. Then he chanted:

“Powers of Darkness
Deamins of Doom
Blood Claimers
Here my Call
Encase my enemies!”

The blood of the five spots connected and now a perfect red penthagram was visible in the snow. A red lightening emerged from it and enlosered the three girls. Spectres could be seen floating in the red light. They were there to haunt its prisoners.

Raistlin panted, e had lost a considerable amount of blood. He wrapped his wound again and allowed himself to rest still with the right chain protecting him.

::too many things happened at once before elly could react. Her handarm, stinging, making her hands too numb and she couldn;t use her wand. ~forgot one thing~ She thought to herself ~ice is weak~ Elly smashed the case on the ice fort and she broke free but her hands were still too numb. she stuck them in her pocket to warm them up. But suddenly the Ice fort cracked. Elly saw rai and saw his mouth move and knew what spell that was. Elly thought quickly ~must accio my broom!~ she thought, but her hands were too numb to move. The fort collapsed and covered her with snow. The coldness covered her. She then heard Rai chant somehting, she listened carefully and realised what was happening. ~hmm, how to escape this one...~ Elly swayed in and out of conciousness, the snow was making her so cold.

"Traforo sotto!" (Tunnel under) Underneath her a tunnel opened up. It dug deep under ground. Elly jumped down and landed on the wet underground, it was dark, elly couldn;t see a thing, she didn;t want to risk the others finding her tunnel so she said "Fine" (close) the only light in the tunnel shut off and she was alone and wet and freezing cold. Shaking rapidly elly lifted her wand and muttered "Inundación del calor!" (flood of warmth) the warm air enclosed her in a tight hug. It felt as if water was running around her but it was warm and felt wonderful. Her clothes and hair dried. When the warmth melted away Elly was no longer shivering and was ready to continue.

She placed her feet carefully through the pitch black tunnel, if she misplaced her footing she would trip, she would be stuck, no one would hear. Elly continued on for what seemed like ages until a spot where she thought she would be out of that cage of rais.

"Ouvert!" (open) the ground above opened and elly clibmed up the small tunnel to the light above. When she exited the tunnel the whiteness burned her eyes afetr the darkness of the tunnel. She focused and saw the cage with the other two duelers stuck in looking worried. Rai had not yet seen her he was about 10 metres from here and probably thinking she was still under the snow, Elly could see the pile still there.

There were two chains attachedto his arm...~hmm, how strange~ she thought. He was armed. So she needed to be. ~in case of emergency conjure a sword~ Elly thought.

"ξίφος της πέτρας" (sword of the stone) a sword appeared sticking out the snow. it was shining silver. Elly picked it up, it was suprisingly light, but looked extremely sharp and was as hard as stone. She placed it in her belt. ~right, now i'm protected, this may be a war in magic but i'm not taking any chances~

"Accio broom!" Elly felt safer in the sky, plus she could attack rai easier from up there. Her broom came flying over to her and she mounted it. ~right, I'd ratheronly deal with rai, rather then thouse other two aswell~ Elly thought ~so I may just add to rai's little spell,

"Υπόγεια πέτρα" The ground under the cage turned to stone. No digging tunnels for them. But unfotunatly rai saw this spell and new soemone had escaped. He looked round everywhere but saw no one.

"Expelliarmus!" Elly yelled from above rai. His wand flew out his hand as he looked up and saw elly on her broom.

"Accio raistlins wand!" Rai's wand flew up into the sky and Elly caught it, she prepared herself for attack

"Schermo!" She shouted. A shield appeared in her arm. It was storng enough to protect her from any non-spell attack. Elly held the shield ready to defend herself::

::Elly sat on her broom looking over rai who was now disarmed when suddenly walls shot up from under her,

"what the-?" She started, "Who the hell cast this spell?!" Lily had soemhow miraculasly escaped rai's cage and cast a spell. Ely cursed and flew to the ground, the walls were now closing in over the top of the two and soon they would be trapped. Elly thought of a good spell to use, she would need rai's help for this spell to get them out of here as the walls were so tall and thick and closing in on all directions. elly explained what to say and gave him his wand, ~hopefully I'm not making a mistake with this~ she thought anxiously.

"Feuerexplosion!"(fire explosion) the two yelled at once, fire exploded out teh two wands onto the walls. They started to crack and they split into a thousand pieces. The shards flew everywhere covering the whole area apart from teh centre where rai and elly stood. The sharp shards of ice fell onto lily beforeshe could react::
