Round 3 - Full Group Match

Round 3 Instructions


Round 3 will bring in the new rules, concentrating upon your status and levels within HE as a whole.

These rules are as follows;

1-
Animagus and Apparation are allowed but only for those who passed the
tests. If you use these you may recieve more points, though anyone
using these without having passed their tests, they will have points
removed.

2- Healing during duels is not allowed/allowed only as part of the course and only a few times if needed as it ruins the
course
of the duel if you keep healing yourself! You are not able to die,
though, and your opponent must not kill you in any way. You must
continue to duel after being hurt, reflecting your spells and role play
upon this injury. Being injured does not take points from you, though
points will be added if you react and act in the correct way
afterwards.

3-
You are allowed to bring THREE items into the duel only. You must state
what three items you have brought into the duel within your first post,
saying what they are and what they do. If items are not mentioned in
the first post, then they can not be used (wand is the exception). You
must not use items which can be deemed higher than your post count in
years. At the moment there is no official list, so you must use this
rule to your disgression.

4. You must
not role play for your opponent/s. You must let your spell play out and
your opponent react in the way they think is best. Points are not lost
for injury, but are gained for how each of you react and act against
one another.


You will be marked specifically on keeping to these rules, as well as the usual rules.

There will be one group with all remaining players competing against one another.

Streams ambled quietly into the dueling room. She was quite early and so was not surprised when she found nobody there, and no spells booby-trapped on the door. Just in case, she raised her wand, glittering in the torchlight. She had polished it last night and it was warm under her fingers. "Homenum Revelio," Streams murmured, but no shadowy shapes formed anywhere, and so she nearly sure there was no one in the room. No one human, anyway. She couldn't be positive as she had recently learned this spell, but she thought she had gotten it right...

Thinking carefully, Streams shut the door and bolted it. Then she twirled her wand, pointed it at a floor tile right next to the door, and muttered, "Scossa Tagliente." (sharp shock, Italian) Whoever stepped on this tile would get a nasty shock. Nothing life-threatening, but it was uncomfortable, annoying, and the aftershocks would last for a good ten minutes afterwards.

The watch on her wrist chimed with the time, however that was not the only thing it could chime about, it also chimed when she was in magical danger, chiming louder for more dangerous situations, and Streams hoped it would come in handy later. Grinning widely, Streams took off her sneakers and changed into dragon skin boots, enchanted with fleetness. Then she set the sneakers down across the room and said loudly, "Camminata!" (Walk, Italian) Now the sneakers would stroll across the room, and whoever next walked in would probably think it was an invisibility spell gone bad, and try to curse the air above it. Hahahaha.

Her mind on invisibility, Streams straightened the charmed hat on her head, careful not to twist the little ribbon on the edge, which would make her invisible. Then she decided to add extra security with a Semi-Permanent Sticking Charm. Now at least the hat would stay on her head. She only hoped the charm wouldn't interfere with its previous charms...nah, why would it?

She paced the room, reveling in the speed of her boots, and at last decided on another spell. After flipping her wand up and down twice, she pointed it at the ceiling and firmly stated, "Illusione Sprofondante." (Collapsing Illusion, Italian) Admiring how the ceiling seemed to collapse, rubble, pipes and huge stones flying every which way, even Streams felt like dodging, if only for a second. Her fellow duellers would soon realize that the falling rocks and pipes weren't real, but they were very disconcerting.

A slow smile spread across her face as she had another idea. Whoever stepped in first would step on the charmed tile, and they would immediately step off it to get rid of the shock. The closest edge of the tile was to the right of the door...if anyone was foolish enough to immediately step off the tile rather than think about it first, as their instincts propelled them to do, they would be in for a nasty surprise.

Concentrating carefully and muttering the words under her breath once before she spoke them, to make sure she had gotten it right, Streams then approached the door, skirting the charmed tile, and cast a "Bolla Di Aria Di Soffocamento" (Choking Air Bubble) jinx right near the right edge of the tile.

The poor duellers who stepped off the tile to the right, as was instinctive, would immediately be trapped in an invisible bubble of no air that would threaten to strangle them.

Satisfied for the meantime, Streams retreated to the far end of the room, skulking in the flickering shadows.

Stephy approuched the door to the dueling room equiped with a mirror, a penknife like the one Harry got off of Sirius and a Stink Pellet.

Stephy then slowly opened the door and looked around the room. She knew it would be foolish to just walk in without looking to see if anyone had entered first. The first thing Stephy noticed was the ceiling looked as if it was about to cave in. She pointed her wand at herself and said "non validus futurus palpo" (not able to be flattened in Latin) and she knew that if the ceiling was to fall that she hopefull would not be harmed.

Not looking around the room anymore Stephy took her first step into entering the room and felt a shock travel up her leg and throught her body. Stephy fell backwards back outside of the room. "What was that" Stephy said to herself. She got up to her feet and looked at the floor but did not see the thing that had done the damage.

Taking caution, Stephy pointed her wand at the ground and said "pontus" (bridge, Latin) and a small bridge no longer than a few feet appeared before which she crossed quickly. The moment she left the bridge it had vanished.

Stephy than quickly looked around and spotted a pair of shoes walking around the room. Getting excited Stephy held out her wand just above the area above the shoes and shouted "Stupify" (stunning charm) but nothing happened. "It was a decoy" Stephy thought to herself.

Stephy turn around quickly trying to find the person who enetered the room before she did but she knew that they would be able to cast a spell at her before she had time to find them.

June hurried to the duelling room, afraid of being late. She reached the door and stretched out a hand to open it, but stopped herself. 'I should see if there's anyone inside first,' she thought. June slowly opened the door just an inch and peeked inside. Her jaw dropped. The room seemed to be caving in! Through the crack in the door, June noticed Stephy walking around, unhindered by the falling rubble. Maybe it was just an illusion? Trusting to that conclusion for now, June examined the rest of the room through her peephole. A pair of sneakers were wandering around, seemingling empty. 'Someone else must be here, but invisible,' June thought. But what was the point of becoming invisible, but leaving your shoes in full view of whoever had eyes? 'Perhaps a decoy?' June wondered. Finished with her scan of the room, June checked to make sure that she hadn't lost the things she'd brought with her during her mad dash to the room. Her bracelet made of emeralds that would glow if the wearer was about to encounter booby traps of any sort... check. A necklace charmed to make her invisible or reappear at will... check. A ruby ring anointed in a potion that would could cut through shields, although it only worked once... check. And of course, June had her wand.

Deeming herself ready to enter the room, she pushed the door farther open and was about to step into the room, when her emerald bracelet began to glow strongly. Glancing down at her feet, June saw a plain, normal tile. Strange... She moved her front foot to the right, but moved it back quickly when the bracelet glowed even brighter. 'Left it is then,' June thought and moved her foot to the tile left of the one she had approached originally. This time, her bracelet gave no reaction at all. Perfect. June walked into the room, stepping on that left tile, and closed the door behind her. Glancing warily at the falling rubble, she waved her wand and conjured a flower, remembering her earlier thought that it might just be an illusion. June saw a heavy pipe falling towards her and moved away, leaving the flower in its place. The pipe fell and nothing happened to the flower. June took several deep breaths, convincing herself that although the falling objects were quite scary-looking, they couldn't do anything to her. But better safe than sorry.

June waved her wand at herself. "Rimbalzare protezione (rebound protection)," she muttered, barely loud enough for her to hear herself. This spell created an invisible shield around her that worked for both material things as spells. Any spells aimed at her would rebound towards its caster and if that falling rubble did somehow become solid, it would bounce right off the shield. That done, June decided to try out some spells she had recently learned. "Muffliato," she whispered. Now, no one would be able to make out what spells she cast, allowing June to forsake the harder path of nonverbal casting. Then, June cast, "Turbatio contego (confusion shield)." This particular shield surrounded June in an invisible bubble and whenever someone outside the shield looked at her, they would become very confused about anyting and everything.

Done with her protection spells for now, June looked at the sneakers that were walking around the room. She thought they were harmless, but just to make sure... Waving her wand around the room, she said, "Homenum revelio." Glancing around, June smiled as the air above the sneakers remained unchanged, as expected. What was unexpected was the shadowy figure at the other end of the room, beyond Stephy. Pointing her wand at the figure, June cried, "Stupefy, Expelliarmus," in quick succession. Thankfully, the Muffliato spell kept her opponents from hearing her spells. Thinking of the kitchens, June conjured a bowl full of soup for this night's supper and banished it towards the figure. Turning towards Stephy now, June cast, "Dormi (sleep)."

As Stephy quickly looked around she thought that she hear something behind her and saw June but she started to become confused. Looking around she started to become confused. Why am I here she thought and then as she looked at June again she saw a spell come towards her. Whats that she thought but ducked just before the spell hit her. SHe then put her hand into her robes and pulled out her penknife. Now why did I get this out Stephy thought as she put it back in her robes. She then ran off to the other side of the room and as she did so she started to start to think clearly.

Theres something going on. June must have cast a spell on herself. Stephy thought as she pointed her wand at herself and said "videlicet mens" (clear mind in latin). This spell made it so that when Stephy looked at June her confusion shield spell would not effect her at all.

With that problem taken care of STephy pointed her wand at June and said "alica macero" (Spell weaken, latin) that if it would hit June then each spell that she made they would keep getting weaker until evetually her spells would not do any harm to the oppent that she fired them at.

Not waiting to see if it had hit her target she had started to look around for the other person that was in the room before June and her got there. After a few seconds of scaning the area she saw Streams. Stephy raised her wand at her but saw that there where two spells heading towards her. She hesitated for a moment before saying "garrio" (Babbling) which would cause Streams to start talking non-stop making it difficult for her to say spells

Standing silently, Streams watched as some of her fellow duellers entered the room, and watched with some amusement as they regarded her charmed sneakers. She was somewhat surprised that Stephy didn't see her. She was, after all, not invisible yet. But Stephy glanced at the corner where Streams stood and then looked away, seemingly unaware that Streams was there. Smiling, Streams wondered which would have the greater effect, a curse, or a simple shouted 'BOO!'

Deciding at last to stay silent for now, she watched with narrowed eyes as June dodged both her traps. The girl obviously had some sort of detector, if only Streams knew what it was...she watched carefully as June muttered a spell, but then she seemed to be doing some nonverbal spells. Either nonverbal, or she had muffled her voice. Darn. That would make it so much harder to know the correct defenses...the watch on Streams hand was chiming quietly, over and over, so Streams decided to take heed and be careful.

Moving slowly, Streams pointed her wand at herself and murmured, "Protego." This way at least she would be protected from most spells, though she didn't know what the were. When she looked back at June to see what the girl was doing now, her mind grew oddly fuzzy...why was she here? Why were things falling from the ceiling? Why didn't anyone stop them? Smiling vaguely, Streams turned abruptly, thinking that she would just leave, and banged her head hard into the unyielding stone wall.

The resulting pain hammered through her head, and suddenly she knew exactly why she was here. Annoyed at herself for having fallen for June's trick, Streams was careful not to look directly at her as she muttered furiously, "Protegga I Miei Occhi" (Protect my eyes). This was like the 'Protego' shield but much stronger and longer-lasting because it was concentrated only on the eyes. It would protect Streams' eyes from any unsavory magic.

Streams turned her now-protected eyes towards June and widened them slightly when she saw June staring directly at her. The watch on Streams' hand chimed loudly, and a half second later, June had sent two spells at her in quick succession, but no matter, the Shield Charm took care of those, causing them to rebound. One of them arced straight towards Stephy, who seemed to have finally realized where Streams was and the other turned back on June. Stephy's spell, which followed, rebounded against the ceiling.

To Streams' surprise, the spell that rebounded toward June stopped a few feet away, hitting the wall instead and causing a few loose stones to tumble down. So June was protected from direct spells, then...Streams pressed a hand to her forehead where she had banged it. It was throbbing and she shook her head bemusedly as her hand came away wet with blood. Great, now she had a gash on her head and she didn't know the charm to heal cuts. She was about to conjure a piece of cloth when June sent a bowl of steaming soup right at her.

Streams automatically took a fumbling step to the side, and her enchanted boots took care of the rest, propelling her three feet away from the bowl. It crashed into the wall and broke, forming a hot, slick puddle on one side of the room. No time to clean that up now, though, and perhaps a dueller who wasn't careful enough would slip in it.

She conjured a yellow strip of cloth and wrapped it around her head twice, tying it securely in the back. Thinking for a half second of how odd she probably looked with both a hat and a headband, Streams grinned and then stepped fully into the light. "Let's see if that charming shield of yours can repel indirect spells," she called to June, her eyes sparkling, and prepared to do the spell that would speak to her opponent's minds, convincing them of things that weren't really happening.

"Silent air, I ask of you,
Whisper secrets in their ears
Tell them things they do not feel
Have them be consumed with hunger and thirst..."

As she sang, she swooped her wand up and down, aiming at the air above Stephy and June. Most shield spells didn't protect against AIR, otherwise how would the casters breathe? Streams waited contentedly to see the effects of her spell. It would make them so hungry and thirsty that they would be able to think of nothing else, but food and drink wouldn't satisfy them...

Realizing that her Shield charm had probably faded already, Streams decided to become invisible. With a small smile, she pulled on the ribbon on the side of her hat, becoming completely invisible.

Or so she thought. Her head and torso faded completely, but her bottom half--her legs and feet--were still obstinately visible. Streams pulled on the ribbon again, but nothing happened. Gritting her teeth, she yanked on the ribbon and it came off in her hand.

She was now stuck half invisible, and could not remove the hat because of the Semi-Permanent Sticking Charm she had placed on it earlier. Sighing, she decided it was best to keep moving.

STephy was surprised to see a spell come towards her and didnt raise her wand quick enough to block it but luckily it was only the disarming spell and her wand flew out of her hands and landed a few feet to her left where the spiled soup was at. STephy raced over to her wand but she had forgotten about the soup and ended up slipping and falling on her face.

As she looked up she saw that her wand was only a few inches in front of her face and, still laying down, she reached out her hand and snacthed up her wand.

Getting up STephy looked down the front of her robes and saw that she was covered in the soup. Now Im all wet Stephy thought but then another thought came to her. Im hungry, maybe i could get the soup out of my robes and eat that STephy thought as she hled out her hand and pointing her wand at it she said "scaphium" (bowl, latin) and a bowl appeared out of thin air. Then pointing her wand at her robes she said "ius reverto ut scaphium" (soup return to bowl, latin) and she watched as the soup left her robes and flew into the bowl. Then holding the bowl to her lips she started to drink the remaining soup.

As she lowered the soup she started to think less about being hungry. Wait someone sent a spell to make you hungry Stephy thought but I guess I broke the spell when I ate something, even though it was on the floor. Eww I ate something that was on the floor.

She then looked around and saw Streams right away because of the fact that she was half invisable. Holding up her wand she said "non validus video vidi visum ego" (not able to see self) and she knew that if this spell hits Streams that she would become visible to her and June but she would think that she was invisible. This, STephy hoped, would caused her to come out into the opening thinking that she is invisible and so that she would become a better target.

June's eyes widened as spells flew towards her and smirked when they were blocked by her shields. Things seemed to be going well for her... until she saw that both Stephy and the unknown duelist had rid themselves of the confusion caused by her shield. Suddenly, a spell flew towards her and June recognized it as a weakening spell. She was about to jump out of its way when it rebounded off of her shield. "And that's what happens to all of your spells," she muttered to herself. Direct spells anyway. June froze at that thought. Direct spells... meaning indirect spells could still affect her. At that moment, she suddenly began feeling extremely hungry and thirsty... 'Water, I need water,' she thought. Waving her wand, June conjured a goblet and pointed her wand at it. "Aguamenti!" Water filled the cup and June drank thirstily, trying to get rid of the burning sensation in her throat. She knew that she'd eaten breakfast and lunch... so why was she so ravenous all of a sudden? Perhaps a spell...? While she thought, June kept drinking water so she could think rationally. The water didn't make the hunger and thirst go away, it seemed as if nothing could do that, but it did help... if only a little bit. 'But how is the spell attacking me?' she wondered. 'Nothing material can get through to me...' There was the answer. Nothing material, so the enchantment's conduit had to be immaterial. Out of the corner of her eye, June saw Stephy drinking some soup. "The only immaterial thing that can affect both of us is air," she whispered in a quick break between drinking. Waving her wand at herself, June said, " Aer ebullio (air bubble)." The Bubblehead charm created a bubble of air unaffected by the spell to float around her head in a bubbly substance.

The instant June began to breath that air, her hunger and thirst pangs disappeared, almost as if by magic. Raising her wand, June turned to glance at Stephy and where the first duelist was, shown by the Revealing spell. Stephy had been affected by the enchantment so she couldn't have cast it, leaving the other duelist as the only other option. Suddenly, she could see the other duelist: Streams. And just as suddenly, Streams disappeared... well, half of her anyway. June decided that this was as good a time as any to turn invisible, so she touched the aquamarine stone in the center of her necklace and instantly became invisible. June waved her wand at herself and said, "Tabernus (hover)." Slowly, June's feet left the ground and June began to hover up in the air. Glancing at the falling rubble around her, she bit her lip and steeled herself not to flinch as stones and pipes barely missed her.

After casting her spell Stephy started to feel thristy.What? I thought that I got rid of that spell Stephy thought as she tried to think of something other than water. She took her wand and held it to her stomach and said "haud magis sentio pro ieiunium vel sitis" (no more feel for hunger or thirst, latin) and she was glad to feel that she no longer felt thirtsy.


Stephy than started to look around and could not June. She raised her wand and said " Homenum revelio" (Reveals human presence in the target area) and she saw that June was floating uo in the air. but then again Stephy started to become confused. What happened to that spell I cast Stephy thoguht before her thoughts started to stray from the battle. Trying to think of a spell fast before she became too confused to think of a spell she pointed it at June and said "speculum ebullio" (mirror bubble, latin) and hoped that the spell would cause an invisible bubble to form around her and cause the confusing spell that she cast on herself to refeclt off of the mirror bubble and end up confusing her instead.

ooc- Stephy, how can you see me? I'm invisible... and I don't remember you casting a spell alowing you to see me..

(Oh i am so sorry... i mixed up yours and Steams spell... Streams was half invivisble .... i will have to fix that)

Cris approached the door to the dueling room carrying a small belly bag with just a few objects that you would in fact rather expect to see in an artist's workshop rather than in a battle – but she knew better than that. First of all, there was a paintbrush – width 18 – soaked in a potion which could return any spells directed towards her to the caster with double strength. It was fully sufficient to draw a few lines with that special brush on her face. “Unfortunately, it doesn't also act as a shield,” Cris thought and cursed the fact that she was still dependent on pocket money from her parents – the shield version of the brush would have cost way too much.

The next object was a tube of green oil paint – a colour of life but at the same time, of inexperience. Cris was going to use the latter of the attributes, as this paint was charmed in order to make everyone who came in contact with it gradually forget everything they had learned about spells and magic in general. Grinning to herself, she imagined the effect it could have on her opponents, especially as it was very difficult to get rid of it (even with the help of oil, soap or solvent, it usually takes a lot of magical skill to get it off clothes or skin).

After indulging a few minutes in admiration of these first two objects, Cris unscrewed a small brown bottle, that contained a colourless but strongly solvent-smelling potion and sniffed at it carefully. This was her last and most dangerous weapon for her opponents as well as for herself, as it would, within mere seconds after being drunk, cause her skin to explode almost like a hydrogen bomb (oh well.. not quite!) and blow up everything close to her - it would indeed take an excellent and extremely powerful piece of magic to protect anybody from it. Unfortunately, this technique usually almost killed her, too, and she thus hoped not to be obliged to use it. She put the bottle back into her bag, checking that it didn't leak at all, then drew out her wand and shouted "Reducto!" at the door.

The door blasted into millions of little splitters and Cris had just started singing "Guess who's back, back again...", when she stepped on the first tile and got a strong electric shock. It made her shake uncontrollably, stumble forwards and fall on her knees. She dragged herself off the tile, then slowly discovered that she could stop shaking. Her heartbeat steadied again and she was bent down, palms on the ground, regulating her breath and muttering something about an "idiotic trap" and "you're lucky I don't have any heart diseases, otherwise it would have killed me". However, her heart leapt again when she turned her head around and for the first time noticed that pieces of the ceiling were falling all around her. "What on earth -" she thought slapping herself as if to wake up. Then she realised she had been in the room, on her fours, all along and hadn't felt anything hit her - therefore it had to be an illusion.

She straightened herself up to have a look at her opponents and couldn't help giggling and exclaiming "Weirdness!" at the sight of walking sneakers (Cris thought she recognised these as Streamsie's) and - her look fell upon a certain spot somewhere in mid-air and she suddenly found herself wondering where she was and why she was there. She was smiling in an odd way, as if she found it all very interesting to watch and decided, in all her confusion, that it would be best to have a picnic, as she had also just seen a girl she faintly recognised as Stephy eat something and it had just... inspired her. She let herself fall down, her legs held at weird angles, and had a blank look on her face while holding her head up towards the ceiling and drooling slightly. "Pipes.. pipes... oh, I know what I wanna eat...." she muttered slowly, "pipes... remind me of uhmm.. candy!". She prepared to say "Bombons!" (candy, German) in order to conjure some on the spot, but what came out of her mouth was rather something sounding like "Bomben!" (bombs, German). Given her confused state, all she was able to conjure were a few small bombs that exploded over her head with a few medium-loud bangs.

She blinked and slapped herself yet again. Looking at her hand, she realised it was stained with black dust from the explosion - and also that she was awake and fully ready to fight again. She closed her eyes to prevent herself of looking there again and began whispering a kind of peculiar mantra, a series of indescript mutterings with no obvious meaning to those who would hear it. It was meant to give her enough strongwill to fight no matter what various methods of confusion would be used against her. When she had finished, she looked up - it had worked!

"Perfect!", Cris thourght, stretched her arms and waved her wand towards the high ceiling, muttering "Unsichtbares Spinnennetz!" (Invisible spider web, German). Although she couldn't see it, she could sense the web above them and Accio-ed herself up to it. Sitting up there on something she couldn't even see herself gave her goosebumps, but it was a good feeling to know it would be difficult for the others to spot her between the fake falling pieces of ceiling . Just for safety, she pulled out her magic paintbrush and applied the oily potion on its tip onto both her cheeks.

She then crossed her legs and arms in a pleased sort of way and smiled, going through all the possibilities in her head, giggling from time to time and saying things like "Oh no, too weak..." or "That would kill them...". When she had finally made up her mind, she pointed her wand towards the place where the door had once been, thinking: "Wand" (wall, German), which made the wand all around the empty place grow to cover it completely. "I'm sorry for the other duelers... they'll have to find another way in, I guess...". she thought with a mock-sad face before shrugging her shoulders and moving on. She lowered the wand just beneath the web and pointed it all around at the walls, thinking "Schneide die Waende!" (Cut the walls, German). It was just a simple, clean cut but it prepared the walls for Cris' next spell, directed towards the lower part of the walls, below the cut: "Wachse nach innen!" (Grow inwards!, German). "Sweet!", she exclaimed, delighted by her work, as she saw the walls grow grow thicker and thicker into the room, slowly but surely making the room smaller. After she had, with a short flick of the wand, assured herself she could control the speed of the process, she accelerated it to about 2 metres per minute, then gave her spell one last touch by covering the walls with an undestructible layer of diamond-strength - "Diamantschicht" (Diamond layer, German). "I wanna see your shields protect you from that!", she muttered to herself, then folded her arms again, waiting for the others' reactions.

Looking around Stephy saw Cris enter the room. She watched as she started to make make what looked like a picnic and then she watched as she was hit my small bombs. Then Stephy saw Cris rise to the air, Probably from a spell Stephy thought as she saw Raistlin then enter the room a hole in the room. Why didnt he come through the door Stephy thought and then saw that he door was no longer there but as she looked at the walls she noticed that they started to close in. Oh, no im gonna be squeshed Stephy thought. She then held out her wnad and said "diamante rayo" (diamond beam, Spanish) and she watched as a beam formed across the room causing the walls to slowly stop closing in.


Stephy then saw that there was some kind of plant growing in the middle of the room. The she heard Raistlin say: “This ladies… yeah no more gentleman’s dueling… are Piranha Roses, for you that don’t know what a piranha is, a piranha is fish that usually swims in groups and attack in groups and can devour a corpse in few minutes. You see the thorns of this roses are particularly sharp imagine what they can do your skin. But you all have shields right? Don’t worry I’ll take care of that next. First I need a shield of my own.”
Stephy then watched as the room start to get dark. What is this powder going to do Stephy thought as her mirror bubble started to reflect the powder. I hope my charm holds she thought. Then she watched as the powder started to explode and she watched as she bubbles around the otehr duelers started to crack and become useless. Stephy stood there and looked at her bubble which still reflect the powder. She watch horrifyed as the explosion came closer to her andwatched as it reached her bubble. Once the explsion got to her explsion it had started to make her mirror bubble start to crack and fall apart. STephy closed her eyes expecting to be hit next but she didnt feel anything. Opening her eyes she saw taht she was still in one piece.

Looking around she saw piranha Roses coming towards her and she ducked down to the floor and they sored over her head but as she looked up they came in for another attack. Its just as stupid plant STephy thought as she started to run around the room ducking every now and then as the plant tried to get her.

As the piranha Roses came in for another attack Stephy held up her wand and shouted "exuro " (burn, Latin) but her spell hit them all but one and the one that had escaped at hit her in the arm. The looked down while she yelled out in pain. Luckily it was only one. She pointed her wand at it and said "abolesco " (vanish) and she was relieved to feel the pain lessen. She got up to her feet and spotted Raistlin right away. He was on the wall and Stephy pointed her wand at him and said "Levicorpus" and hoped that he would be pulled up into the air by his ankle.

June hovered in midair and shivered as she felt a spell on her.... what was happening? Looking around, she saw Stephy looking at a space next to her... Never mind, right at her. 'That must be the Homenum Revelio spell,' June thought. She shrugged. As long as Stephy didn't directly attack her or something, then June would disregard that spell for now. After all, Homenum Revelio only lasts for a few moments. Suddenly, June heard a blasting sound and turned, surprised. The door to the room had been blasted open... and there stood Cris! June laughed, but quickly stopped, fearing she'd been heard. But then she remembered her Muffliato spell and returned to laughing. Her sis was now here... this duel was going to be fun! June sat in midair and waited to see what her fellow Gryffindor would do. Cris stepped into the room, but then it seemed as if a shock had gone through her... 'That must have been what the booby trap was, on that tile,' June thought. She watched as Cris recovered and seemed to overcome June's confusion spell. Then, the duelist pointed her wand at the ceiling. June stood and tensed, ready to fire back a spell if Cris somehow knew where she was and decided to attack. But she needn't have worried... Cris cast a spell and zoomed up into midair, seeming to be sitting on nothing. June was confused... how was Cris in midair? June slowly floated down until she was level with her sister and gasped silently. Her feet had touched something sticky... and thin... like a spider web! June made a face and pointed her wand at her feet. "Diffindo," she said, and she felt the spider web seperate from her feet. Thinking that maybe Cris had noticed some pressure on her web, June quickly rose higher in the air and zoomed to the other side of the room. At that moment, June looked toward where the door had been and her eyes widened at what was happening. Glancing from Cris and back to the wall forming, June realized that the Gryffindor must be casting a spell of some sort, making wall and then... diamond? form across the opening. IT was growing... faster and faster. June looked around, what could she do? Suddenly, that wall burst open and its growing seemed to stop. What had happened? June looked and saw a figure emerging from the doorway. It was Rai!

IT was then that she realized that the temperature was dropping... June shivered and moved her hands to warm herself... But they were white. Looking at herself, she saw that little crystals had gathered on her.. and it was getting colder. June waved her wand at herself and muttered, "Calore eterno (everlasting warmth)." June sighed in relief as she felt the crystals melt and her body temperature rise. "That's better," she said grinning. Then she saw Raistlin sitting on some dirt and chanting.... Roses grew and a strange powder filled the air. The roses flew into the air as well. What was the powder doing? She watched as it came towards her rebounding shield. Her shield should make it rebound, right? June bit her lip hopefully and waited. The powder landed on the shield... That wasn't good... Then, June noticed a spark of fire near Rai and suddenly, the powder exploded!!!!!!!! June covered her head with her arms. Looking around, June glared as she realized that her trusty rebounding shield had been destroyed. Then, June remembered the roses. Her rebounding shield was gone, so now they were free to attack her! Rai had called them Piranha Roses... and it seemed that their thorns would infect you... Suddenly, June's head snapped up when she heard a whishing sound. Looking around in panic, June blanched as she saw one of the roses flying straight at her. Glancing at Stephy, she saw her friend blasting the roses with fire. June bit her lip... she disliked fire... It burned so slowly.... She pointed her wand at the approaching roses and said, "Il fulmine colpisce (lightning strikes)." Lightning bolts flew out of her wand and targeted the roses. June sighed as she saw them become ashes instantly. Glancing at the particles falling through the air after they had eaten up her shield, June glared at them. "Bandire (Banish)," she said, making a whip-like motion with her wand towards Rai. The particles flew away from her and towards the wizard. June didn't know if they'd do anything... but she did it anyway. So what if it was pointless? Atleast she got some childish satisfaction out of it.

June turned at a strange plinking sound that she heard... almost like a pin dropping on the floor. She wasn't far off. Looking around, June finally pinpointed the sound as coming from a little brown pellet on the floor that was starting to smoke. ... What..? Confused, June pointed her wand at it, unsure of what it would do. It was smoking more profusely now... and greyish green wafts were spreading throughout the room. June tilted her head to the side, confused. It didn't seem to be doing anything. Then, June turned and realized that it had been Stephy who had thrown the strange pellet. From her bubble head charm, June concluded that it might be a.... Stink pellet? Come to think of it, the pellet did look similar to the stink pellets that could often be found terrorizing Filch. But then why wasn't it affecting her? Suddenly, June giggled. Now she remembered. When Streams had cast her earlier enchantment, June had cast an air bubble around herself, to escape the spell. That same bubble must now be protecting her from the stink coming from the stink pellet. Shrugging, June pointed her wand towards the Ravenclaw responsible for the stink and said, "Amplexus servo in (Surrounding keep in)." This spell would create a bubble around Stephy, making it so that whatever spells the girl cast, they would stay in the bubble and rebound back on her.

June watched, amazed as a dragon suddenly appeared where Stephy had been. 'So she's an Animagus,' June thought. She shrugged. Although Stephy's dragon form was very very very frightening, June felt thankful that her keeping in bubble spell would still work on the Ravenclaw, even though she had changed forms and was in another place. But there was still that dragon fire... June waved her wand around herself and cast, "Unsichtbar glacies contego (invisible ice shield)." June mentally thanked her internal warming spell as she felt the temperature outside lower a bit, as an invisible ice shield surrounded her, inside her rebounding shield. That should hold off the fire for a bit. Looking up at the Red Western Dragon before her, June slowly raised her wand and was about to cast a spell, when she remembered the ice around her. 'Crap,' she thought. 'If I cast a spell, then it might break the ice, because it's coming from the inside...' June angrily made a swishing and twirling motion with her hand before muttering, "Lasciare me espellere (let me cast out)." Good. Now, June would be able to cast spells outwards, without disturbing the ice. Done with that, June raised her wand once more and aimed for the dragon, or rather, Stephy's eye. "Bindehautentzündung (conjunctivitis)," she said firmly. Not looking to see if the Conjunctivitis Jinx worked, June swept the room with her eyes, waiting to see what the other duelists would do.

June winced as her curse hit her Ravenclaw friend. She had wanted the spell to hit, true... but June hoped she hadn't hurt Stephy too much... June stared up at the dragon with wide eyes as it shot fire everywhere. She looked to her right and gasped as a fireball flew right at her. June closed her eye, hoping her ice shield would hold up. She peeked and sighed. It had held... but by the now much hotter temperature, it seemed... to be.... gone. June gulped and lookec up at Stephy's intimidating Animagus form. "Eek!" she cried out when she saw another fireball heading towards her. "Aguamenti!" June cried and watched helplessly as the water jet was vaporized into steam. June gulped and made lowered herself in the air. Darn it! June cursed her long hair. Because she had shot down so fast, June's hair had caught on fire... The Gryffindor shot a colorful stream of words at her hair and Stephy's dragon fire and conjured a jacket. She used it to try and smother the flames... and then she remembered she was a witch. "Aguamenti!!!" June cried in a panic and sighed when she felt cool jets of water on her neck. Hesitantly, June raised a hand and touched the ends of her hair. They were soaking wet, but no longer on fire.

June smiled and patted her hair. Atleast it hadn't been burnt too much... and she could always go to Madam Pomfrey after this duel. Focus June, focus! Refocusing on the duel at hand, June looked around for any oncoming threats. Unfortunately, she didn't look up. Sensing a shadow above her, June raised her head... a few moments too late. Oh... my... God... June's mouth fell agape as a HUGE dragon claw appeared above her... and it was coming down... She shot down through the air, this time with one hand on her hair. Suddenly, June remembered Cris's spider web. Thinking, she slowly realized a way to use it to her advantage. "Revelio (reveal)," June said, waving her wand beneath her. The faint outlines of the spider web could now be seen by June... meaning the Gryffindor could also see the gaps. Taking note of one of said gaps, June maneuvered herself over it and shot down, trying to remain as straight and thin as possible, so she wouldn't get caught. When she had almost reached the floor, June looked up and she saw Stephy's dragon foot still coming down. She closed her eyes and hoped the Ravenclaw would get caught in the strong web... and hopefully avoid squishing June into Gryffie-jam.

June glared up at Stephy. The Ravenclaw had burned her hair, chased her through the air... And now she was trying to crush her?!?! As the dragon's foot came down, June zoomed up at an angle, struggling to maintain her balance as she hovered. The spell she had used didn't allow her to fly of course... that was impossible to do without a broom. June had to be contented with moving through the air standing straight up all the time.. which... was kinda hard. June had had enough of running away. Near her, she saw Rai watching from the wall. 'You look far too comfortable,' she thought. June still hadn't forgiven him for killing her rebound shield. Waving her wand, June said, "Dissodatore pranzo invitato (dragon treats)." A batch of brown, flame-shaped cookies appeared and hovered in midair. These dragon treats were often used at dragon reserves to coax the dangerous creatures without getting burnt. June directed her wand towards the Slytherin sitting on the wall. "Occulto (cover)," she hissed and the dragon treats flew towards Raistlin. June wondered if they would do what they were supposed to do, and cover him in dragon treats, hopefully tempting Stephy.

June giggled to herself. Oh how she loved playing dragon-treat-matchmaker. Looking around the room, June saw a half-visible Streams and Cris. Laughing evilly, June conjured up two new batches of dragon treats. To the first batch, June said, "ósýnilegur (invisible)." Then, June Banished them over to where Cris was. Her sister wouldn't know what hit her... literally. Smiling innocently, June directed her attention at the second batch of dragon cookies and cast, "Flamme (fire)." This spell wouldn't burn the dragon treats to a crisp, like Incendio was known to do. Instead, the spell that June cast would merely cover the cookies in flame, keeping them warm and delivering a not-so-friendly treat to Streams. June smirked mischievously and Banished this set of cookies to Streams. The poor poor Hufflepuff. Hopefully for her friend, she'd have some kind of protection around her, protecting her from the flames. But if she didn't... well... that was what Madam Pomfrey was for.
