ROUND 1: GROUP 1 : MarieC V Life is 42

Marie peeked into the room where the duel was taking place and frowned lightly. It was only a big empty room with... well... emptiness, along with blinding white walls that were giving her a headache. Groaning lightly, she stepped into the room and closed the door behind her, only to have it disappear.

"Oh great," she mumbled, rolling her eyes.

With a sigh, she decided to do something while waiting for Lifey. She put her hand into her pocket, searching for her wand, but not finding anything. Frowning, she searched her other pocket. Nothing. She started to panic and looked around to see if she had dropped it, but couldn't see it. Just as she was starting to get really nervous - which is pretty normal since no wand in a duel is a bit scary in itself - she nervously ran a hand through her hair and heard a small thump on the ground. She looked down and saw her wand, which she remembered she had tucked behind her ear. With a sigh of relief, and a mental note never to put her wand there again, she bent down and picked it up, looking around the room, trying to think of something to do. Just then, she noticed there was a door on the other side of the room and went there curiously, opening it to reveal a huge closet in which lots of things could be found.

"Holy sh..oot," she said, her eyes widening.

She looked around to see if there was anything of any use and noticed there was a huge couch under a pile of dirty clothes. Smirking, she tucked her wand behind her ear again, already forgetting her earlier mental note, and grabbed a basket that was on the floor next to the couch, throwing the smelly dirty clothes in it.

"Eww.." she said as she carried the basket to where she though the door had been earlier.

Frowning, she touched the wall, trying to find some clue for where the door could be. When she didn't find any, she sighed and grabbed her wand, luckily remembering where it was, and pointed it at the wall.

"Ostendo sum vestri," (Reveal yourself) she said, trying to restrain a giggle at how stupid she sounded.

However, she realized she didn't sound all that stupid when the door appeared in front of her. Grinning happily, she opened it slightly and pointed her wand at the basket full of clothes.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" she said, making the basket levitate and placing it on top of the door, already laughing at the idea of lifey covered with dirty socks.

When that was done, she went back to the closet and repeated the previous spell a couple of times, making some furniture float into the room, leaving less space and more hiding spots. Finally, she moved the couch to the center of the room right beside the coffee table and sat down on it, waiting for Lifey to arrive. She looked at her watch a couple of times, bored off her mind, and grabbed her wand once more, flicking it in the air and grinning when a deck of cards appeared on the table. She tucked her wand behind her ear and took the cards out, humming to herself as she started making a card castle.
