ROUND 1: GROUP 2 : Running Swift V Streams of silver

Streams eased the door open carefully and slid inside, keeping her back to the wall as she glanced around the room. The walls were made of stone, and there were no windows. One small flickering torch was the only thing that lit the room. Afraid that perhaps her opponent was hiding in the shadows, streams muttered "Lumos" and held her wand high.

She breathed a sigh of relief when she realized the room was empty, then set about preparing the room for her opponent. First she created an enchanted mud puddle directly in front of the door by calling, "Modder vulklei," (mud puddle=Dutch). If her opponent stepped directly into it she would be stuck in mud till her neck.

Then streams conjured twelve rats by shouting, "Douze rats sanguinaires!" (Twelve bloodthirsty rats=French). They would lurk on the edge of the puddle, waiting to bite anyone who had even a drop of the enchanted mud on them.

Streams strode to the walls and tapped them with her wand, saying, "Melma tossica." (Poisonous slime=Italian) Now if anyone would touch the walls the slime would sink through their skin and kill them within minutes. Streams then pulled her dragon hide gloves out of her pocket and put them on, so that if she touched the walls accidentally she wouldn't be hurt.

Then she conjured a powerful shield around herself by calling out, "protetor forte!" (Strong shield=Portugese.) Confident now that she was safe, she extinguished the one torch by muttering "Steekt uit aan!" (Lights out!=Dutch) and the room plunged into darkness. Then she stood there silently, waiting for someone to arrive.
