ROUND 1: GROUP 4 : Dancing sunset V Rigby dumbledore

Rigby crept silently into the dueling arena. Her foe glass showed that she was alone in the room. Feeling a sense of relief, she took a deep breathe and a good look around her. Not much was going on in the room. Well, we can change that, she thought. "Pervideo Lux lucis!" (disco lights) she said, and suddenly the room looked like Studio 54. The only thing missing was the perfect soundtrack. Deciding to go with a Bee Gee Boys song, she soon had the room filled with the sounds of Stayin' Alive.
After dancing around for a while, she decided that it was time to get serious. She performed the Turpis Amiculum (unseen cloak) Spell, decking herself out in invisibility."Reproba Concero!" (false twins) she yelled, and soon the disco floor was filled with Rigby replicas. Now when her opponent came in she would be surronded by fake Rigbys, unable to see the real one, which would give her time to size up Dancing Sunset's dueling style. [/u]

Dani heard the sounds of Stayin' Alive coming from the dueling room, she sighed finally an opponent with a sense of humor. She smiled "Protago," she whispered pointing her wand at herself, "Sensa" (enhanced senses) she smiled and pushed open the door.

"Hey Rigby!" She yelled coming in. "Black fog!" she yelled and the room became pitch black.

Rigby coughed as the black fog enveloped her. She hoped it wouldn't cause any permanent damage. When she finally caught her breathe she yelled "Pulsus Ventus!" (blow wind) , filled up her lungs and blew the black fog away. Now where was that Dani...finally she spotted her opponent in the corner of the room. "Cella Roto!" (Room Rotate) she yelled. Suddenly the room began to spin rapidly. Normally this would make Rigby quite dizzy and sick, but she quickly performed the Perficio Pondera Spell whick gave her perfect balance. She waited to see if Dani would be able to keep her bearings, ready to attack at the first sign of weakness. Deciding that the disco music was no longer apporiate, she switched the music to Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).

Dancing laughed, she didn't need a spell to help her with this one, she stood straight with perfect balance. Ballet and those few years in figure skating that had helped with her balance were kicking in. She smiled and pulled out her wand, " Gelo!!!(Freeze)" The room stopped spinning and was incased in a layer of ice, she smiled as Rigby was also covered in the slush. She smiled as Rigby was distracted she waved her wand again, "Protezione notevole (major protection)" on herseld she turned to Rigby with her wand raised. "Dormire(to sleep)" and watched as she should slowly drift off into sleep

Rigby heard Dani's sleeping spell, and she tried to block it. She was a little slow raising her wand and a portion of the spell hit her. Against her will, she found herself yawning. Gosh, she thought, dueling is tiring. I could just lay down and take a little nap. A voice inside her head started yelling at her to open her eyes and fight, so she slowly raised her wand arm and gave out a weak. "Commoveo" (Awake), she ruined the spell by yawning. She didn't want to much up her very first round of dueling so she reached up and pulled out some of her hair, which jarred her awake long enough to yell forcibly, "Commoveo!" Suddenly she was wide awake and ready to duel. She cleared the sleep from her eyes, almost poking one of them out with her wand and thought of what to do next to Dani. Her opponent had put on some major protection spells, so her choices were limited. She shivered with cold, and quickly did a Aestuo spell for warmth. Looking around at all the ice she was struck with inspiration, she might not be able to attack Dani with a spell at the moment, but she could make it harder for Dani to attack her. Rigby raised her wand and yelled, "Asper Acrolithus!" (Ice Statues), suddenly the ice formed into Rigby replicas all around the room, quickly Rigby transformed her appearance so that she resembled one of her statues, the ice also gave her added protection from Dani's spells. She appartated to another location quickly, so that Dani would lose sight of her.
