4th House Quidditch: RAVENCLAW V SLYTHERIN: 17th-21st

[Ravenclaw Reserve Seeker]

Rigby tore into the locker room, frantically undressing and changing into her brand new quidditch uniform. Hopefully Lily had a good eye for proper size! Rigby hopped around on one foot while trying to put her sock on, banging into a row of lockers. Lucky for her she was only clumsy on the ground, in the air she was poetry in motion, she flew like...well, like a raven.

Finally she was dressed, and after taming her long red tresses into a halfway decent ponytail, she grabbed her broom, let out a shaky breath and stepped out onto the field. Instantly she took to the air, grateful for all the hours of practice Lily and the rest of the team demanded even of the back up team.

It looked like the game was turning quite physical. Rigby flew high to get out of the way and to catch a glimpse of the snitch. It might be her imagination, but as she flew by Raistlin she noticed his eyes seemed to have a red glare to them. Of course he could just be mad since he was getting hit with bludger after bludger. Or because Lily had landed her broom on him...

Rigby shook her head, laughing as she pushed her broom higher.Once she got to her desired height she leveled off just in time to watch Lily flying towards Slytherin's goals. Wow, she thought, we're good! Rigby might have come late to play but she was determined to make her mark. She kept one eye out for the snitch and one eye on Raistlin. This was her chance to put Ravenclaw on top where they belonged!

(Slytherin Seeker)

Raistlin saw Lily's crash and shouted "Can't say I'm really sorry! Do you want help to do it again?"

Raistlin's worries were focus on the sudden dead situation of Slytherin. "Why do I always end up alone. Worst in the middle of stubborn Ravenclaws this time" he thought bitteerly "What can I do to ruin their happyness..."

Raistlin flew in the air giving maiximum speed to his brom, Lily was momentanly weak so he passed through her at max speed and gave her ligh push so no one would see. "I think I can see the snitch" he shouted smirking

Rigby watched as Raistlin sweept past a weakened Lily, declaring loudly that he saw the snitch. Staying where she was for the moment she did a quick search for the snitch herself. She caught a glimpse of the golden devil, but it was in the exact opposite direction that Raist was flying. She realized that Raist was trying to psych them out. She quickly formulated a plan.

Rigby waited until Raist flew past her and she let out a fake surprise gasp and made as if to follow him, all the while keeping her eyes on the snitch's location. Raistlin looked pretty pleased with himself and by flying behind him, Rigby kept her profile low. When she made her break Raist wouldn't see it coming.

Making her move, Rigby bumped into Raislin's broom, feigning like she was losing control she dropped further behind him, and closer to her golden target.

Agatha jerks awake as she realizes where she is. She was having a lovely daydream about Patrick Dempsey when she heard a loud crash. She realizes that Rigby has just crashed into Raisty on purpose! That's it she says to herself. No body puts Raistlin in the corner....I mean No body uses Raistlin as a bludger target! Agatha looks everywhere for a bludger. She can't seem to find one so she decides to tail Rigby. Following about 5 feet behind her she see's that Rigby see's the snithc. Trying to decide what to do, Agatha see's Mick with a bludger about 20 feet below her. "Oy" she yells to get his attention. He looks up and sees Agatha and they both nod in acknowledgement. 2 seconds later Agatha has a bludger ready to strike. She see's Rigby is speeding up all the while focused on something in the distance. Agatha knows it's now or never. She bounces the bludger softly of her bat and then with all of her might she swings and hits the bludger straight into Rigby's Back. Agatha slows down as to not run into the trainwreck she's just caused. She smiles as Raistlin zooms by in search of the snitch. Now about those Rvenclaw chasers, she sneers to herself as she zooms towards the rest of the action.

Agatha twists her broom around quickly as she hears yelling coming from the spot she had just left. She watches in horror as yet another raven takes a shot at Raisty. Not on my watch she says to herself. Agatha zooms as fast as her Firebolt 8 would take her. Luckily she hadn't got very far when she had to turn back and mad it to where Raisty was just in time. She looks over to where Elana is and sees that she has just helped Rigby back on her broom. She glares in their direction and decides she isn't playing nice anymore. The bludger is now getting dangerously close to Raisty as she comes up on his right side. He sees Agatha and she points for him to pull up and he does, leaving the bludger heading straight towards herself. With a loud resounding crack, Agatha strikes the bludger with un-natural strength and sends it on a collision course towards Elana's Left arm which just so happens to be steadying Rigby. That's how you get rid of two birds with one stone. She laughs at the funny she had made to herselfl.

Rigby felt the bludger hit her in the back just as she was getting close to the snitch. It hurt, but not too bad, she was used to getting hit by bludgers much harder than what Agatha sent her way. Still it was enough to stop her descent and knock her askew. Elana came flying to her rescue, helping her get herself steady on the broom when Agatha's bludger came flying towards her once again. This time the speed and force was amazing and it was heading straight toward Elana's arm. Rigby yelled and knocked Elana away from her. The bludger grazed Rigby and she went spinning like a top.

Rigby heard Agatha's laugh, and although her entire right side was throbbing she managed to get back on her broom. She would let her fellow Ravenclaws deal with the likes of Agatha and Raistlin. She caught sight of the snitch this time, and set out after it.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

::Lifey circled the pitch, clutching her aching hip. She had no clue what was wrong with it but it hurt like all Heck let loose.::

::Lifey turned in time to see Rai and Lily...well let's just say Raisty got treated to a Lifey glare that could kill.::

::Swooping down, Lifey caught the quaffle cleanly and Nodded to Lily and Anthony before zooming down the quidditch field, doging a bludger.::

::As she neared the goals, she swerved as she saw two slytherins flying towards each other to block her path.::

::Halting her broom Lifey tossed the quaffle over her right shoulder, hoping Lily would catch it.::

(Ravenclaw chaser)

::lifey raced to retrieve the quaffle. heart pounding, she was nearly there when-

::WHAM!::

::She heard the most sickening crack of her life, and felt the most horrible pain she had ever felt. Her eyes teared, her vision when blurry, she could only hear the crowd on and off, the ground and the sky was spinning, alternating with each other in position over and under herself.::

::The sky was green...the ground was blue..the sky was green...the sky was blue........::

::She wondered, vaguely as she was becomming increasingly mroe dizzy, if she would pass out. She hoped she would. the pain, which she now realized was comming from her jaw, was unbearable.::

::through fuzzy eyes she thought she spotted someone flying after the bludger that had just struck her...but she couldn't be too sure now, could she?::

::She didn't see black exactly..but a fuzzy grey was close enough as she saw was she thought might be the ground comming closer to her.;:

Flying around the pitch Anthony wasn't on top of his game this day. Shaking his head and of all times to have a bad game. But nevermind he thought just focus and play hard. So much was going on around him all at once, he had to try and salvage what he could. Lily was mashed and Raistlin was being as Slytheriny as ever. But he had to force all that out of his mind and get in gear. Lifey had the quaffle and she already was passing it to Lily. Just as she passed it a bludger crashed into her. The thud was sickening. Worried about his teammate he had to focus he would check on her after the game. Anthony postitioned himself closer to Lily after he saw her signal him to move in closer. She weakly tossed him the quaffle so he sped in and secured it. With quaffle in hand Anthony tightly gripped his broom and dove straight down out of sight of all the madness above. Ducking a rogue bludger as he made his way close to the ground he pulled up at the last second to level off and began his march to the Slytherin goals. Looking all around him to make sure nothing got in the way he sped as hard and fast as he could. This new broom was wonderful. Close enough to the goals he pulled up hard and took off zooming straight up back into the madness. He was in Slytherin territory now and form the look of it he was alone. No matter he thought I will not be denied. And with that determination he leaned as flat as he could on his broom and rocketed towards the Slytherin keeper. Alone on this end of the pitch was invigorating. Reaching and getting the quaffle ready to throw he began a series of barrel rolls to confuse the keeper. Up and down side to side constantly rolling. The keeper tring to match his movements was not ready for what he was about to do. Pulling back on his broom Anthony came to a complete stop just feet away from the goals and the keeper was positioned in front of the right goal leaving the other two wide open. Heaving the quaffle with all he had Anthony tossed it through the center goal for another score. Disoriented though from all the rolling he didnt notice the bludger speeding towards him. He felt the blinding pain though when it struck him in the forearm. Arm hanging limp Anthony grabbed his broom and raced back towards his team to celebrate the score

Rigby followed the snitch, she could see Raist in the distance, but the snitch was hers for the catching. She followed it, she could no longer hear the crowd, just the rush of the wind as it went flying by. THe snitch danced in front of her, tempting her to reach for it. She sensed it was almost time. She continued to follow it, zooming ahead of Raist and the Slytherin team. It was now or never. She reached out her hand and the snitch practically fell into her stretched out fingers. She had caught the golden snitch!!

::Lifey smiled weakly, from the grass where she lay sprawled next to her broom, tasting blood in her mouth and feeling it stain her quidditch robes (woohoo for number 6 Xd).::

::Kate had caught the snitch! Ravenclaw had caught the snitch!::
