Superstitions and random habits

I've seen nervous habit somewhere in here but I haven't seen this so I'm putting it up lol oh well, someone can always delete it if there's a problem

What are your superstitions and random habits?

Everytime I pass a graveyard, I always cross my fingers lol I don't know why but I do lol XD it's kind of superstition... XD lol


And I also noticed that I always sit next to an emergency exit in the bus though I don't do it on purpose, but every single time I'm next to it XD weird...

Well lets see, when I'm nervous I play with my hair XD Also I tend to bit my lip, not sure why XD.

Also whenever I'm in a room I shut the door... which for some reason I think I'm convinced will save me if a murder comes.. is that superstition? XD Or just plan craziness? XD

a random habit...whenever i'm about to get on stage i get really really really really jittery and hyper. seriously people start giving me weird looks..and yeah.

also when i'm nervous (usually about getting a test back, or taking a test) i cross my fingers before i start/recieve it back.

hehe I like the door to my room to be shut. Even if there's nobody else home XD ... dunno why, I just feel better that way... like I'm in my private safe haven... probably says something superdupermegamysterious about my personality....

and I never like to get out of house without the ring that I got from my mum.

and I usually eat the salad at the end, not while eating the rest of the things, like normal people do. But then again, what's normal? XD

mhmm.. and I like drinking green tea at the begining of tests... has a good influence on my brain... XD

oh about food... if I have like, for exemple... steak, mashed potatoes and salad in my plate, I'm gonna eat the steak first, then the potatoes, then the salad. Well not necessarely in that order, but I finish one thing before starting another one lol

at school for lunch i usally eat my food first then i drink my milk........ but thats only to drown out the taste lol

lol I was that way when I was a kid too, I was afraid of the dragon in my closet ^^

And also I used to run from my bedroom door and jump on my bed so that the monster under it couldn't grab my ankles.

i dont really have any superstitons but my mom does...... she yells at me evrytime i open an umbrella up in the house....... like anything bads gonna happen

Well its really gross and everything but whenI'm really nervous i crack my knuckles. I also tend to play wiht my hair and bite my lip. My mom has this thing where she comes into my room at night so shut the closet door. Idk why, I like doors open so I can hear everyobdy.

i crack my knuckles all of the time. my mom keeps saying that ill get big knucles if i keep it up and i told her i dont care lol

I can't have my bedroom door open when I go to sleep - it has to be shut all the way.

I can't really think of much else at the moment...

i always feel safer with the door shut, and i can't get to sleep without it shut.

I can't sleep with out a blanket.

if i have water and a glass of coke at the same time (don't ask) i drain the water first and then drink the coke

if i have a ham and cheese subway sandwich, i always put the itailian sauce in between the two lo

i always comb my hair before i get dressed and the end up having to recomb it

thats alll i can think of right now

Oh I remembered something else. I cannot stand it when people lay books out to mark the place - I HAVE to mark it with something so it's closed.

When I walk against walls, doors, trees, poles, WHATEVER, I have to apologize :D

(I can't sleep with my door open either.. not that i sleep that much anyway but... xD)

my mom hates it when i open an umbrella in the house. I opened like 12 of them once and she threw a fit. she said i was gonna have bad luck and then i had to put them all away.

Random habbit i peel my nails when nervous and or bored

Back when I was in high school, a thousand years ago, we used to tie our straw wrappers into a knot and then pull. If the knot came undone than the boy you were thinking about was also thinking about you, if it stayed in a knot than he wasn't thinking of you. So anyway, I carried this habit into college, and to this day (even though I am happily married) I still do it. I don't even think about it, it's mostly auto-pilot. It used to be that I had to do it, I couldn't not do it. It's gotten better, I can now throw the straw wrapper away without tying it in a knot, and go on with my day. But I still do it most times, my husband even hands his over for me to do when we're out to eat. It's not obsessive compulsive, but it used to be pretty close.

I have a random habbit of walking under as many ladders as I can XD

i randomly gargle every fifth drink of whatever i'm having.

I can't sleep with my door closed it feels like my room is closing in on me, and when people say something that I don't know I instantly say I know that, then I realize that I said it then I say actually no I don't know that..

i cant stand to have lotion on my hands and if i use those soaps with lotion in it it takes me almost 10-15 min before i get the lotion completely off.

I cant sleep with my door closed and I check to make sure my front door is locked at least twice in one night even if I locked it.

i have to have my door closed or my cats would come into my room and destroy my things
