Omens and superstitions

Hello, class! I hope you're ready for a new Divination task .. it won't be too difficult, promise! As always, remember: never copy/paste, give your sources.
Ready? Ok, here we go:

I. Short answer questions

1. What is an omen? (2)
2. Where could you find omens in antiquity? (2)
3. Give an example of a superstition which represents a good omen in some places and a bad one in others. (4)
4. What is a death-warning? (2)

II. Writing

1. Imagine you are a character in the Harry Potter books - describe the death-warning your character experiences of Voldemort’s death. (300 words) (45)

2.Invent two superstitions – a positive and a negative one. Write for each of them:
-what they are (5 points x 2)
-what will happen if you see/hear/feel…etc them (5 points x 2)
-for the negative superstition: what to do to counteract it (5 points)
There is no word count, yet too short answers won’t be awarded as many points.
