The Black Lake

"It's expelliarmus." Chris said. "My father used it a lot. They called it is trade mark or something."

"I know." Chris said. "Well let's get started."

"Do we pair up?"

"Ok, want to pair up Oddie?" Chris asked.

"Sure." Chris said holding up his wand, "ready?"

Cris waved his wand and shouted, "Expelliarmus."

Chris caught the wand and threw it back at Oddie.

"Interesting..." Azelina mumbled to herself, walking along the lake towards the dueling pair.

Startled at being addressed, Azelina pointed to herself. "Me?" She asked, looking around to see if she was mistaken.

Azelina is apprehensive, she usually does not associate herself with others. Oh, screw it She thinks, walking over to the two strangers. "Disarming, you said?" she asked.

Chris grabbed his wand, after it fell onto the ground, "Good job, Oddie." He shouted.

Azelina thought about this a moment. "Just disarming?" she asked.

"Ooh, please do. I love praticing magic." Chris said.

"we can do something else if you want." Chris said. "I don't mind. Although I would like to take a dip in the Black Lake."

"I have no problem with practicing, but wouldn't it be more interesting if we did more than just disarm?" she asked.

Startled at being asked what she wanted, Azelina just stared at Oddie for a moment. "I-I don't know what I want to do. Whatever you want is fine with me," she said. "Disarming just seems a bit..boring, you know?"

"How about a Patronus Charm?" Chris asked. "I can do one."

"If you wish. I can do one as well," she replied, pulling her wand out.

"Cool, let's go ahead and do that." Chris said holding his wand out.

"Expecto Patronum!" She says, and a silvery spider comes flying out the end of her wand. It crawls through the air, it's many legs working, and then fades.

"Expecto Patronum." Chris shouted as a silver stag appeared.

"Impressive," Azeline said, watching the stag.

"It was my dads patronus" Chris said as the stag disappeared.

"I see. Anything else to practice?" she asked, glancing out towards the lake.

"I have no clue." Chris said. "What do you want to do?"

She thought of all the spells she knew but could not do in front of a strange boy. "It really does not matter to me," she said, sitting down on the ground, staring out over the lake.

"we can do transfiguration." Chri said.

"That's fine with me. What's first?" she asked.

"I can transform some grass into money. Myuncle George taught me how." Chris said.

"Wow," Azelina replies. "I've never heard of someone doing that before."

"Well my uncle is the joker of the family."

"Ah, I see."

"Yes." Chris said. He reached down and grabbed a few peices of grass. He pointed his wand at them and mumbled some words and they changed into muggle money.

"That does not look like money," she said, starting to reach for it but stopped herself. "What is it?"

"It's muggle money." Chris said. "It does look weird."

"It does. It looks like paper. How do they keep it from tearing?"

"They handle it carefully. I don't really like it. I went to this muggle town and I tried to by someting with it and I ripped it." CHris said.
