Harry Potter Theme Park

Well, it's been confirmed. There is going to be a Harry Potter theme park, at Universal Studios.

What does everyone think about this? I'm in two minds about it, to be honest. On the one hand, it could be very very cool if done well, but on the other hand it's commercialisation of a book series we love, and is that a good thing?

I would really like them to add a Quidditch Pitch to the theme park. I think that'd be awesome. Hahaha.

And you can join in a game of Quidditch??

i tried playing one a side quidditch in my backyard with my sister once.

And how did that work out for you?

We got a ball (quaffle) and a green tub (hoop) and run about the garden trying to throw the quaffle in the hoop and stopping the opponent. At least thats how it should of worked but the incredible sulk had better things to do. It ended up as 1/2 a side but was still fun

So they finally modified the seats for the Forbidden Journey so more people could ride it! YAY for those people who get to go on it now.

A whole bunch of colleges over here play it now in some type of league against each other. I know the snitch is someone from the cross country team. But I forget the rest of the rules. I used to know 'em. xD

Lol yeah I heard about it too. But all I knew was that someone ran around as the snitch

Mmm, yes, I love those things! They were selling them at Dervish and Banges (theme park) but I didn't get them because I'd already bought too much. And they probably wouldn't have worked awesomely like in HP....

I personally think football/soccer should be replaced with quidditch

Their thinking of DOUBLING the size of the WWoHP rather than just expanding it...That would be the coolest thing!!! I definitley think they should do it!

On Mugglenet's article they say they're taking a survey and I want to take it and I'll defintitley say it's very likely I'd come back. Espicially since I wanna work there anyone next summer.
