12th House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V HUFFLEPUFF: 9th-13th

(Slytherin Seeker)

Seamus O'Riley ran out onto the pitch, completely forgetting there was a game. He was certain he would get in trouble from his captain/Wifey for his forgetfulness. Quickly mounting his broom he took to the air in a green blur, his Slytherin robes billowing behind him as he flew higher up into the air.

He spotted several of his team mates already flying around the pitch but his eye quickly caught something that made him blink several times. There was Nancy, falling at a quick speed towards the ground. He couldn't have this now could he?

As fast as he could he tipped his broom downward, flying in a quick and flawless vertical position. He pulled his firebolt up just as he flew beneath her and caught her on the front of his broom. "Hello Lovely." He said with a wink to her. "Sorry I am late again, but I am sure this will make up for it." He gave her a wink and then carried her on his broom, landing the two of them safely on the ground so she could retrieve her broom. He flashed her a quick smile and another wink and then kicked off from the ground, sailing once again upward to look for the golden snitch.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Feeling completely energized from the hearty bat she had just consumed, Ame decided she better work off the calories by doing some serious quidditch playing. It's down to the wire and they have a game to win!

Ame heard a scream and looked to her left to see Nancy hit off her broom by a bloody bludger! Ame growled at it and was about to zoom over to help when she saw they teams Seeker had arrived in the nick of time to rescue their captain!

Breathing a sigh of relief Ame scanned the horizon for the quaffle. Nancy had it...but not for long...she handed it safely off to Jessie!

Ame raced over to be with her fellow teamates...and see if she could help any...

(Slytherin Chaser)

Unfortunately, Jessie had gotten distracted moments before Nancy's fall, and only turned to look in time to see her safe on the ground with her HE hubby by her side.

She smiled as she saw her twinny zoom up and catch the quaffle, maybe, just maybe, they could get back in this game. "Twinny! Can I have another go?" She chuckled. When Nancy flew up to her side, and gave her the quaffle, she happily took it. When she saw Ame had joined them, her eyes darted from Ame... to the quaffle...Ame....quaffle....Ame...quaffle... "Ame, I trust you with this." She said, and handed her the quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn looked around the field in a slight daze. She apparently was staring blanklessly at the field and audience for several minutes as everyone continued to play. Although she wasn't going to point any fingers *ahem Ame ahem* lol she could have sworn that she had a spell casted on her as the desire to ignore the game and search for McSteamy continued to run in her mind. Taking a deep breath, she shook her head and continued with the game.

Looking downwards, Jenn spotted the quaffle being passed to Ame by Jessie which was given by Nancy! lol When they appeared on the field, she didn't even notice. Gritting her teeth tightly, she leaned lower on her broomstick and jerked her broom downwards to intercept the quaffle. Zooming quickly, Jenn blinked to clear her stinging eyes as she flew closer and closer to Ame. With outstretched hands, she leaned to the left and proceeded to punch the quaffle out from under her. Her cheer was quickly halted as she forgot to jerk her broomstick upwards. Clutching the quaffle tightly in her hands, Jenn jerked the broom up as hard as she could as momentarily missed the ground as the grass skimed her toes.

Flying below, she dodged a bludger and flew toward the goal posts. Pulling her broomstick completely up, she was about to narrowly fly between the goalposts as she carefully tossed in teh quaffle to hear a loud clink for a score.

(Slytherin Seeker)

Seamus scanned the area of the pitch, looking relentlessly for the golden, flying ball. The pesky little thing was quite a hard thing to see, but he would not stop searching until he had it in his hands. From the looks of his wifey and the other members on his team, it had been quite a rough game. Several of them would need to visit the hospital wing when it was all said and done. The sooner he got the snitch and ended the game the better.

As he continued his focused flight, he flew passed Jessie. He gave her a quick wave as he flew by her and that is when he spotted, waaaaay off near the other end of the pitch a gold sparkling object, flying at a fast speed. A smile graced his features as he leaned his body forward and shot off quickly towards the snitch. It was moving fast and making quite a few twists and turns but he never took his eyes off of it. He flew down towards the ground as it did. When it went high into the sky, he did. This was his snitch and by Merlin, he was gonna catch the little bugger.

Watching carefully still, he saw the golden ball hovering near Nancy's head. He flew to her as quick as he could but he pulled his broom upward before he reached her. The still stationary snitch was almost within his grasp. He licked his lips and then quickly tipped his broom downward, holding his hand out and he flew down and then........."YES! I GOT IT!" He said as his fingers wrapped around the golden winged ball. Flashing a smile he flew around Nancy, holding it out so she could see his accomplishment. "Look what I got Wifey!" Sending her another wink.

He then flew downward, landing himself on the ground and held up the snitch for everyone in the stands to see. The game was now over and he had once more managed to catch the snitch for the Slytherins.
