Chapter Twenty-Four - The Wandmaker

The digging of Dobbys grave was so sad. I understand why Harry wanted to do it the proper muggle way, which made it even more upsetting. I still couldnt believe that Dobby was gone.
Luna's little speach was perfect. It was so her, and fitted wonderfully, showing what a lovely character she is. I loved the inscription harry put on the grave too,

"Here lies Dobby, the free elf"

Harry also asks in this chapter what DD knew about him as he knew how others would react, such as ron and Wormy. I think this is important for understanding the end with the memory and what DD expected Harry to do. I think he knew that the outcome of Harry would be exactly how it happened.

Fleur also annoyed me in this chapter, just thought I'd mention that lol

Asking Griphooks help to break into Gringotts was not unexpected, though I knew from that moment that he would betray his word to Harry - afterall, he is a goblin, and Bills words of advice simply echoed my thoughts.

The conversation with Ollivander was informative, though not quite what I had expected.

Harry's decision to hunt the horcruxes over the hallows surprised me, and it wasnt until later on did I really realise what this meant.

Another brilliant chapter here though.

It was not so much Dobby's death that had made me sad, but the digging of his grave. The fact that Harry wanted to do it the proper way, and then his little funeral, it was just so sad sad

I too was surprised that Harry chose the Horcruxes over the Hallows, but I think in the end he still wanted to do what DD had asked of him.

The Dobby stuff just made me cry so much and it also showed how much of an amazing person Harry is because not many wizards would have bothered burying a house elf but Harry did it by hand he dug it out.

I saw so sad that Dobby had died and then Harry burried him the Muggle way.. that was so sad. and there was Luna just being Luna...

I seriously respected Bill for taking them in and letting Harry do everything his way. Fluer surprized me with her concern and helpfulness.
