MarieC V Kitkat - 2ND ROUND

One-on-one duel

This will only be 6 posts each,
The duel will consist of ONLY MADE UP SPELLS.
Please remember to write in brackets what each spell does. Remember, JK Rowling uses Latin a lot!!

Points will be awarded at the end!

::Kitkat walked into the room, wand held in had as she gave a small bow towards mariec::

"incendia amnis maximus" (Fire steam maximum in latin)

::Kitkat watches as the burning fire stream comes out of her wand and heads directly towards mariec::

"animadverto per obex" (see through barrier in latin)

::An invisible one way barrier erupts between her and mariec::

"Agh" shrieked Marie, as the fire was coming toward her

:Luckily, she regained her senses quick enough to grab and wand and shout:

"Unda tutela" (water protection)

(Similar to the Aguamenti spell, this one conjures several jets of water instead of one, which, in this case, surround the stream of fire)

:She gasped of relief when the fire disappeared, swallowed by the 7 jets of water. Marie then turned to Kitkat, who was probably protected in some way, since she had said a spell after the fire one, and nothing bad had happened to her. Marie looked arround her but saw nothing. She then conjured a small rock and threw it toward Kitkat, but it simply bounced on an invisible barrier and came back toward her. Marie stepped to the right to avoid the rock and then, seeing nothing else to do until Kitkat's protection charm stopped, pointed herself with her wand, saying quietly:

"ebullio amplexus" (bubble surrounding)

(protection spell, bubble... add one and one ^^ lol)

:A big bubble surrounded Marie, thin and weak in appearance, but very strong and protective:

::Kitkat frowned as the bubble protection swam around marie. Thinking quickly, she said::

"postulo bewail"
(needle deflate)

::Hoping the giant needle would pierce the protection bubble. Taking a chance, she shot another spell across the room::

"caecus lux lucis"
(blinding light)

::An extreme bright light erupted in front of marie::

:As she was being blinded by the light, Marie felt that her bubble was no longer strong enough to protect her, and when the needle pierced it, she soon became unprotected and not able to see anything around her. Then, an idea came to her mind and, hoping it would work, she grabbed her wand firmly and pointed it at the light, whispering:

"Obscurum redimio mihi" (darkness surround me)

:Usually, the spell would have done the opposite of kitkat's spell, and so would have sent a dark cloud all around the room, making it almost impossible to see through it. But since the room was so lightened up at that moment, the spell only made the blinding light go away. Marie sighed of relief and then looked at kitkat, thinking. She lifted her wand, pointed it at her opponent and shouted:

"Oculus caecus" (eye blinding)

:Slowly, a thin membrane covered kitkat's eyes, making it impossible for her to see. As kitkat was blinded, Marie pointed her wand to herself and whispered:

"Temporary invisibility" (that don't need any translation lol)

:As the spell said, she temporarly became invisible and sat on the floor, waiting for something to happen:

::What she had thrown at marie was coming back ten fold as the darkness surrounded her, her eyes failing to open. She lost sight of marie as she clung on tightly to her wand. Thinking quickly she muttered::

"sesto senso" (sixth sight in italian)

::Although she still couldnt see marie, her sixth sense was suddenly heightened, and kitkat found that she knew exactly where marie was. Turning quickly to the left, she raised her wand and..::

"piel ardiente" (burning skin in spanish)

:As her skin started getting warmer and warmer, Marie thought "Next time, I'll go to the right...". Quickly, she pointed her wand toward her and muttered:

"Gelus" (cold)

:Just when her skin was starting to be unreasonnably hot, she felt a cold wave go through her body and sighed of relief. She then turned to kitkat:

"You wanna play hot? I'll play cold" she muttered

:She grabbed her wand with both her hands and pointed it at Kitkat, before shouting:

"Glacies somes" (ice body)

:Kitkat's body is suddenly surrounded by ice, making it impossible for her to move or anything:
