DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY : Class 1 : Robot Wars EXTRA CREDIT

Slythertron entered the arena with Mick at the controls. He moved slowly yet with precision as Mick guided him to the far side of the arena to await an oponent

Badgy W entered the arena, head swiveling steadily, though no creases or grooves marred her neck. Then she set eyes on an opponent on the far side of the arena and strode forward, forming hands and fingers. Bits of the robot kept bubbling out, ready to form more limbs whenever necessary. Badgy knew what her purpose here was. Destroy.

She fixed her laser on her opponent immediately, as Streamers grinned and made Badgy draw closer still.

Spot drove in with his three wheels and looked at the two.

Badgy W went a little wild, head and laser swiveling back and forth between the other two, waiting for one to make a move. Spot seemed to be trying to avoid the laser, while Slythertron just stayed in place. So Badgy W focused the laser on Spot's wheels, hoping to disable it. At the same time Streamers was ready to have Badgy W drop flat into an ooze-mat in case Spot or Slythertron tried an attack.

Spot rolled a little and took off flying Kaitlyn was going to try an attack on Slythratron. Spot flew down a little and shot off three rounds from its guns towards Slythratron.

Mick steered Slythertron straight towards spot and laughed as the bullets bounced from its toughened armor. He noticed one dent the side and frowned as he spun sideways and sent spikes flying back at Spot

Streams noticed that Badgy W's laser wasn't even making a dent on Slythertron, and decided to move in closer. Badgy W dropped to the ground, forming a puddle of ooze that slid along the floor behind Slythertron, in Slythertron's blind zone. Then Badgy W oozed over the bottom of Slythertron and began inserting tiny molecules of intelligent putty, trying to disable Slythertron's moving mechanism.

Slythertron shuddered as some of the ooze began to seep through the tiny crevices of the openings on the metal. Mick quickly turned slythertron around and moved one of the blades up high and brought it down on Badgy W's ooze, slicing right through it, leaving the robot without an arm...or leg, Mick wasn't completely sure. He just knew that Slythertron was now slightly slower with the ooze inside of it but at least he took some of Badgy W with it

One of Spots little side blades when flying off from the attack. Spot desided to attack Badgy now. Spot flew down and turned its backside to Badgy and a lot of flames came out.

Badgy W was disabled and it would take at least an hour for her to completely regenerate. Leaving the bit of ooze that was penetrating Slythertron's mechanism to continue its disabling work, the other half oozed away, forming new arms and legs. But it was now even slower than before, and barely moving at all. To top it all off, Spot had sent a lot of flames toward Badgy W and she couldn't dodge them in time. Half of her began burning, and she turned in on herself, suffocating the flames but slowing down even more.

Suddenly streams had an idea and decided to separate the entire robot. It needed time to regenerate and so it separated into tiny little individual bits, scattered all over the room. Each bit by itself couldn't do much, but they would regenerate and then Streams could join them all together again.

Spot turned its attention to Slythertron now. Spot came from behind and with one of the six large spears Spot shot one towards Slythertron. Right after that Spot got within 8 yards of Slythertron and shot off 7 rounds.

45 minutes had passed, and Badgy W was beginning to get power back. Little pieces of intelligent putty began joining together...an arm formed in one corner of the room...then oozed into a puddle and went slowly across the room to join to a leg that had formed in another corner...they needed to reach the bit of putty that contained the head before they could all rejoin. But meanwhile, the rest of the putty was regenerating...faster and faster. Well, as fast as Badgy W could.

Spot saw what was happening and flew down to conserve energy. After that spot decided to flam out Badgy again.

By that time Badgy W had completely regenerated and joined together once more. The flames this time were not as damaging as last time, since Badgy W was freshly regenerated, and one slap of an oozy limb put out the flames. Badgy approached Spot and draped herself over Spot's wheels. There was a weak spot in the metal and streams grinned as the wheels began to come apart.

Kaitlyn was confused so she initiated the launchers and tried to fly.

"Oh, darn it," streams murmured as Spot launched into the air. "I thought she didn't have energy to fly...I was so close..."

Badgy let go of Spot, but left a bit of putty on the wheels, and they continued their merry work even while Spot was in midair, slowly but surely making the metal disintegrate. And the best part was that Spot's weapons couldn't access the tiny bit of Badgy clinging onto Spot, because Badgy was UNDERNEATH Spot.

It was the only thing Kaitlyn could do ,so Kaitlyn pushed the button she feared and all of the wheels fell off. That meant that spot could still land but to move could only fly. This would help in energy savings because of the weight ,but on the flip side spot could only fly now.

Streams watched happily as Badgy completely disintegrated Spot's wheels. As the wheels were no longer attached there wasn't much point to this, but it ensured that Spot couldn't reattach to the wheels at any time. However, the bits of Badgy that had helped disintegrate Spot's wheels were no longer able to function and they turned to dust next to the remains of Spot's wheels. Badgy was now a little smaller than before, but still just as powerful. Streams aimed the laser and Badgy shot at Spot's underbelly, reasoning that it would probably be a weak spot since the wheels had been protecting it earlier. At the same time she kept an eye on Slythertron, who was huddling in a corner for some reason.

Kaitlyn saw Spots wheels get eaten up and was sad ,but all of the sudden a Lazar was being fired at her... Spot was able to barely get out of that way in time. After that spot zoomed down and flamed Badge hoping that it would hurt it.
