| Part 1: Extra Credit: Prospective buyer, eh? I'm so glad you like this one. Good choice. I have named this sculpture 'Young Adult' and I made it about half a year ago in the middle of the night, when I was feeling truly inspired and simply couldn't sleep until I had transformed my thoughts into art. It is made to resemble a young adult at first, and the top you can see is still orderly, but then towards the bottom it branches out and becomes more complicated. I did this to show that you can attempt to straighten a young adult's mind and nature to your liking, but inside the YA might just not comply. The eye is spiral, showing a slightly cynical view of the world, though the overall appearance is not bitter, just perhaps sarcastic. Can't you just see it raising its eyebrows, saying coolly, "I couldn't care less" while it isn't even paying attention to you? The straight rod and the S shape overlap, showing that while YA's might view the world the world the same way others do, they often have a uniqe take on it. The mouth is complicated and black, reflecting the need to sometimes stay silent while inwardly wanting to shout, and the steps going up, the color of the sky, show that YA's are constantly looking up and trying to improve things and challenge themselves. The dougnut shapes in part represent food and serve to balance out the sculpture, and the heart is large, and the primary base indicating YA's large capacity for intense emotion, and how often they tend to act on their emotions. Doesn't it just set your mind whirring when you study it? | |

| Life's Long Journey Extra Credit: This sculpture is not for the meek at heart. It's full of elaborate colors and pieced together with mementos from around the world. The Oak spiral is made from drift wood I found during my stay on the Greek Isles. The Red pyramid is from the Sahara Desert, found next to the very large Sphinx. The white laquared O is made from an alabaster cave in the Tundra. The golden S shaped piece is from Korea, it's made from the finest gold in the world. Moving on to the next, the small rectangle is a hand painted piece by a German Monk. He whittles wood pieces and then paints cloudy sky portraits on them. The large blue polka dot glass piece was made by a world famous glass blower in Sweden. She is famouse for her use of colors and patterns. The purple cactus is from Arizona. In a field of green, it was the obvious choice when picking one to take home. The black arrow head was found while digging in the Oklahoma salt plains. Thought to have been used during the Trail of Tears. The green pipe is from Ireland. Found in an old castle's barn, may have been used to herd sheep. The pink star was brought back from my travels into outer space. Just kidding. It was actually found at an old market in Mexico. It was pretty, so I brought it back with me. Last but certainly not least, we have the blue domed rock from my lengthy visit to New Zealand. Found while I was learning to surf, I tossed it in my bag and now it's one of my most treasured pieces. All of these have been placed together to document my travels from around the world. Each have character and stories to tell. Why just purchase one piece when you can get this montage of so many. This sculpture represents time and love, and memories. It is priceless to me, but to you it may be worth a million. | |

| This sculpture is brought to you from the heart of slytherin. Not only does it represent myself, though others within the great slytherin house. The main focus is the star of green. This represents both my wife's initials and her place in my heart as well as Slytherin being the star of Hogwarts. The middle star is a star within a star representing all slytherin members The 'S' shapes stand for three aspects. The first, my wife's initial, the second, Slytherins initial and the third, a serpent of slytherin (although I hate snakes!) Either side are four strong battons holding up the main focus, each with sculptured flames to show glory. | |

| (by the way the little white square on top is not part of it- i deleted something there) Extra Credit: So you’re interested in my sculpture! Ah, then you made a smart choice – gather ‘round everyone. This one is made personally by me and it’s called: Who U R. The pink donut on the bottom symbolizes sweetness. Even though everybody has a bad side or in other words, a bad day, they always have a sweet and kinds side either occasionally, sometimes, or maybe very deep down. Then there is the wooden circle on that is balanced on it. It means that everything has a beginning and an end. If someone is irritated there must be something, big or small, that made them like that. Let’s move on to the blue squishy irregular shape next to it shall we? That thing symbolizes the ability of everyone’s flexibility: physical and mentally –everyone has some kind of flexibility, otherwise you’ll still be angry at your ex-friend who pushed you into the mud at age three or still be lying on the ground unable to get up. The purple thing of a shape I cannot identify is firmly latched onto the blue. Let’s rewind, the blue squishy thing is flexibility so then the purple thing that I can’t identify is a helping hand. Whether it’s your family, a friend, or even a stranger, they can help you recover from any loses. Finally we come to the two letters S. They mean that life has ups and downs but you have to go with the flow. Oh, thanks for remind me of that I need to say why it’s related to me. Er…it’s mostly related to everyone since most people have those points so it relates to me since like most people I have most of the features on this sculpture. | |
