CAREER DAY - Task 2 - RESTURANT WORKERS

I personally think that we need to decide what type of food we need to cook first. ( Italian, Seafood, ext.)

Okay, we need to see if the rest of the restaurant workers agree. Meanwhile, what about the look and feel? Is this a fancy, casual or fun restaurant? Hmm we can also pick music to play in the background...

Music hummm Italian... I have alot of Italian music!!!

Ahem. Since only Kaitlyn and I have posted, we've appointed ourselves restaurant managers. Kaitlyn is Head Chef, and is in charge of the cooking, main menu and music. I am the Maître d' and I'm in charge of the wine list, decorating, and waitressing. If anyone else would like to do anything, there's plenty more to do before we can open this restaurant to the public!

Yup, sounds good to me. Do you want to do the advertising, then? Also I think as part of advertising we should all put a link in our siggies leading to this page, but we can do that later on once we have a menu and stuff and we want people to start RPGing.

Except streams...I'm no good at ALL at making graphics, and therefore posters. But I can do other advertisments.

Okay, tell ya what. Kaitlyn is already doing the menu. But we still need to do design. Could you come up with the design, and describe exactly what the restaurant looks like? Plus if you could dig up some pics of what the restaurant looks like, that'd be awesome. Also, could you please choose our color scheme?

And you can help out later on with waitressing. ^^

And I'll do the sign and graphic advertising XD.

Alright...shall we go for a colour scheme of red and green to show Italy? Or is that too...common.

Alternatively we could use blue and green cuz then I have some ideas that we could use.

Red and green makes me thinks of pizza. Which is Italian, but this place is a BIT fancier than that. Also red and green makes me think of Xmas. XD

I really like the blue and green though! What shades of blue and green? And can you pick a metal as well to accent with, like gold, silver, bronze, copper etc.?

Grapes and vines would be cool with blue green. Just a thought.

Ooh I like the grapes and vines idea! Good for decorating with, and they tie in with the whole Italian/wine thing as well. Whaddaya say, prinny?

And we can do either real-looking grapes or just grape sculptures in marble or gold or whatever...

Cris! So glad you showed up XD. Well since Kaitlyn is our only chef so far, you can ask her if she needs any help planning the menu. Anyway when you post, describe how you're cooking the food that customers ordered, and you can post pics of the food as well. If there's any gossip going on in the kitchen...well, be imaginative! ^^

I am almost done with the menu! I told Cristina that she could have the music since I cant get the music on here. Sorry about that ,its just my computers retro and I am limited in what I can do. I will get most of the menu up today. I told Cristina that she could have the Salad and Appetizer part of the menu if she wanted and she could also add what ever she wanted to the menu! I have fixed those two errors. If any of you all see any more tell me. I am bad at spelling so I understand you will not offend me.

Meh you're pretty good. I've seen much worse spelling, believe me. Anyway I don't think spelling is really an issue.

Should that go under the bread column or should the bread go under the appetizer column? Just a question. Again you did great!

Wow that's great Cris! I was thinking with the music that a simple list would be sufficient, but if either of you can figure out how to host actual music, go right ahead. And if you want to do lyrics, feel free. The more you do, the more points ya earn, I guess.

I think that since the appetizers are sandwiches they don't go in the category of plain breads.

Oh and Cris, I posted a wine list on the first page I think, if ya like you can add that to the menu.
