CARNIVAL : SLYTHERIN : Stalls

The carnival preparations are now going to take place. You have been split into four groups according to your HE houses;

SLYTHERIN
Severus Snape
Agatha Black
WytchKitty
Raistlin The Wizard

This thread is for you to design, open and run your stalls, entertainment and anything else you think of for the after parade fun! You are allowed as many stalls and entertainment as you wish, though the more effort put into designing and running these the better. You may also advitise for others to come and visit your stalls.
You will be marked on both team work and on your own accord with both creativness and fun aspect as well.

Possible points:

Up to 500 per member

Plus a bonus 300 points per member of the winning team.

Some ideas for the stalls coincide with my ideas with the floats.

We could make a stall for 'mini-mascots' That is have either lifelike minis or maybe candy mini mascots for both dorms? After all, we're all Slytherins so why not combine them for the Carnival's sake?

Another stall idea I had was what if we have Thestral Rides. We could feature Morsmordre's mascot and Sectumsempra's as well. Thestral rides would be a fun way of horseback rides only these can fly and designate a simple course for beginning riders and an advanced course for the more skilled ones. I'd also suggest making the prices for the advanced group slightly higher.

One more idea that just came to me is why not have a Pet-the-Python or Get your picture taken with Slytherin's scaled-Friends booth. We could have this enormous snake that people could take pictures with

Oh yes, and put in a few rides such as the 'Reptile Roller coaster'?

A game such as 'Catch the Cobras' where you have to catch as many as you can in a certain amount of time and the more you catch, the bigger the prize?

All Aboard Anaconda- Where you can take a ride on this large snake ride and you go through snake populated areas to observe all different kinds of these reptiles. Sort of like a nature adventure.

Maybe make a booth that sells shirts, sunglasses, clothes, purses, bags, jewelry and other Slytherin souveniers?

That's all my mind can come up with for now.

Cris entered the Slytherin stall area in a cheery mood, as she had heard they had awesome jewelry there and needed to buy something for the mum, for Christmas. However, what she saw on entering exceeded all her expectations. So many shiny and pretty jewels, how could she chose?! "Eeeeny-meeeny-miny-moooh", she testingly began counting, but it didn't help.

"Oh, ok! I decided!", she said as she noticed the vendor was getting impatient. "Could I please have that golden necklace over there? The one with an.. is that onyx? Yes, I tihnk so... the one with an onyx pendant, please! Oh and ... ahhh there goes this month last pocket money.... could you please also give me that silver snake ring and the silver earrings, there at the bottom? I'd like to try them on, please!"

"Oh and... not that I'd have money nor be brave enough for it but... that shiny silver snake over there is making me curious..."

The most intriguing fragances were leaving the stall. Some people felt intrigued by them.

"That's it, that's it. Approach. Why don't you try our specialities? I guarantee you'll never be the same again."

said the creepy-greedy looking vendor. People were now looking at the several dishes.

One of the clients was about to ask the price when the Vendor pointed to the wall where a menu list could be read:

Snake Soup (Sharpens one's mind) - 5 sickles and 3 knuts
Snake caramelized eyes (Enhances sense of awareness) - 5 knuts a spoon, 10 sickles a cartoon box.
Snake Tongue Gum (transforms one's talk into hissing for a few minutes) - 2 knuts
Sugar Snake Scales (makes one levitate a few inches) - 1 knut per scale, 15 sickles a whole skin.
Jellow Snake (may cause teeth to fall) - 15 knuts
Hardened Sugar Snake Fangs (will last for hours!) - 5 knuts a pair.

"So what will it be?"

Willow walked up to the stall, a bag of Galleons jingling in her robes.

She approached the stall and looked thoughtfully at the jewellery, contemplating what she should buy.

"Can i have a... Platinum Snake Pin and a Silver Snake Ring, please."

She had already had the 50 Galleons in her hand, ready to hand them over in return for the jewellery.

A gryffindor girl approached the table and asked:

While he waited for the answer the girl went:

"Oh and... not that I'd have money nor be brave enough for it but... that shiny silver snake over there is making me curious..."

The Vendor eyes widened:

"DO NOT TOUCH ITEM 16! You want to try it you need to buy it!"

Another girl now approached, a Slytherin girl this time:

"Can i have a... Platinum Snake Pin and a Silver Snake Ring, please."

The vendor smiled:

"Of course my dear, no it's 50 sickles my dearn, not galleons."

She leaned on the counter, smiling at the costumed lizard running the stall as she eyed the rare two-headed snake.

Must be sweltering hot in that lizard costume, Streams mused as she tried on the ankle bracelet. Suddenly she felt light and airy. Walking wasn't an automatic motion, it was a joyful pleasure. Hesitantly, she began to dance, gradually getting more confident when she realized that not one step was out of place.

She wondered what it would be like to dance while levitating..."Wow I must have these!" she exclaimed, not at all out of breath from exertion like she usually was when dancing. Rather, she was breathless from excitement as she handed over 1 Galleon and 1 Sickle.

"Nice choice. That will be only 2 Galleons if you must. Now you must be extremly careful you know, Black Mambas are in the top 5 of the most dangerous snake species."

Becca came to the slytherin carnival in a fairly grouchy mood. She had woken up way too early. But, alas, she had a lot of Christmas shopping to do. She had so many siblings she could barely keep count anymore...and then of course there was mom, dad, her own children....bleh. Lot's of shopping. It wasn't like Becca didn't like shopping...it was just that shopping for other people could easily be a hard task for her.

As becca looked around, a grin came across her face. This was great. As becca loooked, something caught her eye. She grinned as wide as she possibly could. She walked up and asked, "Can i please have one of those green snake necklaces? I believe it's a number nine?" Becca pulled out her money and bounced up and down.

She wasn't sure how her fellow Gryffindors would like that, but she had always loved snakes. She was already digging through her pouch for some gold.
