The carnival preparations are now going to take place. You have been split into four groups according to your HE houses;

This
thread is for you to design, open and run your stalls, entertainment
and anything else you think of for the after parade fun! You are
allowed as many stalls and entertainment as you wish, though the more
effort put into designing and running these the better. You may also
advitise for others to come and visit your stalls.
You will be marked on both team work and on your own accord with both creativness and fun aspect as well.

Possible points:

Up to 500 per member

Plus a bonus 300 points per member of the winning team.

Okay... I think the first thing we need to do, is think of a uniting theme for all of our stalls and floats. This way we have continuity and we can show creative we can be under one blanket topic... Any ideas?

I agree, then it'd be a lot easier to plan and come up with ideas

What about... a Lion King theme? XD AFter all, that story is packed with bravery and Gryffindor-ish traits... and plus, it even has our mascot in its name! lol

OK. I like that idea June! What do we want our stalls to have on them?

Hmmm... well we could sell merchandise promoting The Lion King and we could sell products in Scarlet/Gold and with lions on them XD

okay.. are we allowed ot have games? becasue we could do pin the tail on the lion, or through the hoop over the lions tail.. things like that.

Those are fantastic ideas! I'm pretty sure we're allowed to..... What about:

~ Pin the Tail on the Hyena
~ Throw the Rings over the Lion's Tail
~ We could have floating Pumba's in a large round bowl of water with numbers on the bottom that correspond to various prizes
~ We could have a game where you throw beanbags to knock over various cardboard cutouts of Scar. If you knock over a cutout that has a scarlet or gold dot on the back, you get *insert prize here*, but if there's a non-gryffie-colored dot on the back, they don't get a prize... or maybe they get a worse one?
~ Wheel of Fortune!

idk.. those are all really good ideas...I haven't seen the Lion King in such a long time.. which is said considering the play. lol...

we could do musical rocks (like musical chairs put with rocks to make it junglish..)

lol as you can tell I have no ideas... So we have games, what else?

What about stalls just for fun? Not including games, I mean, because when I think of games I think of paying... XD Fun for example.... OH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would this qualify as a 'stall'?

We could have a big tent with a pool and a ladder with a thick (and unbreakable!) vine and people could climb up, swing on the ving, and plop into the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOOhh!!!! I like it! I think it will count! I hope so.. We could laso have a stall showing th emovie too... and where is everyone else?

okay.. here is a rough copy..it isn't good at all because of course I only have paint.. but I think I can fix it...

Yeah... it was just the basic design.. I didn't add anything to it yet.. I'm working on making it look better.. I'll see what I can do.. I wish I had photoshop at home
