CARNIVAL : HUFFLEPUFF : Stalls

The carnival preparations are now going to take place. You have been split into four groups according to your HE houses;

This
thread is for you to design, open and run your stalls, entertainment
and anything else you think of for the after parade fun! You are
allowed as many stalls and entertainment as you wish, though the more
effort put into designing and running these the better. You may also
advitise for others to come and visit your stalls.
You will be marked on both team work and on your own accord with both creativness and fun aspect as well.

Possible points:

Up to 500 per member

Plus a bonus 300 points per member of the winning team.

since our float is going to be princess related we could make your stalls like that too

each stall can represent a different princess with different activites

yep thats what we planned before xD

we'll have a stall for each princess as well as one gift shop with combined princess gifts and perhaps separate ones, like for sleeping beauty...a sewing kit! lol

and in each princess stall you can decorate it as you like and tell your story and answer questions, take pictures, etc, but remember to make your story Hufflepuff like!

I'm Cinderella who lives with my Slytherin mom, and Raven and Gryff stepsisters xD

This is a great suggestion!!! I love it all ready!

My stall is made of wood. Ivy curls up on the posts, pink geraniums and yellow pansies are in pots on the sides and in front of the stall. It looks something like this:





I am selling--5 Knuts apiece, 2 for 8 Knuts!

My stall will be a large blue and yellow tent and when you walk into the entrace you walk into a large two story cottage type house. (Think Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Weasley's tent) and inside will be dark wood and would look like this.

(minus the people of course lol) and there will be tables and chairs to sit at, a rocking chair and several comfy rugs by the fireplace for storytime. There will be several areas for games and the gift shop will be upstairs.

"Wonder why he's in such a hurry," Streams mused, stroking Prince Charming. "I mean, he didn't even wait for a kiss from you!" Prince Charming whined sadly, so Snow White had no choice but to kiss him instead.

June walked by the Hufflepuff stalls while the Gryffindor ones where still under construction. She had been planning only to browse when a sight caused her to stand stock still and then sink to her knees. "Awww..... You're soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!" Before her, was a little puppy... and he was advertised as Prince Charming! June petted him and then stood, smilng at Snow White. "Hi," she said, "I'd like a caramel apple, a cherry snow cone, and a kiss from Prince Charming please!"

June laughed as the puppy 'Attacked' her. "You're so sweet," she cooed. When Snow White came back with her things, June reached into her purse, brought out the money, and paid. "Thanks a lot!" she said, waving to the princess and her dog. "I'll probably be back!"

"Oh bunny food? Jack says he doesn't need any bunny food since the bunnies are food - JACK!" etta shouted into the crowds. "Streamies, give me as much food as possible! Im off to play with Prince"

As Etta walked over to the pen o play with Prince, her eyes glanced across Cinderella's stal.

"Oh my! Can i have four lots of the Happy ever after bedroom decor? Four lots of chocolate drops and twelve chocolate mice please," Etta said her eyes still orking their way to Prince.

Becca wandered into the Hufflepuff carnival. She was still on her search for holiday presents and she thought that this would be another good place to look. Something, of course, immediently caught the girl's eye. She saw the stand made out of wood, with flowers on the front, and ran up to get a closer look. She leaned it to take a look at one of the jewel boxes. "Can I please have one of those?" Becca said excitedly, pulling out her money.

Jenn turned around and grinned happily when she saw her first customer was her own Head of House! Waving a wand around, (that she borrowed specifically from her fairy godmother, although she didn't exactly get her permission) she motioned for the mice and birds to help package Etta's purchase as her arms seemed full enough as it was with the Prince Charming.

"I'm really not going to ask who you're planning to keep in these beds, chained or not..." She joked as she tallied the price up. "But since you're my HoH I'll only charge you 20 galleons for the entire lot! And don't forget, this nifty little button on the headboard enlarges the bedsets to however big you want them to be!" As Jenn tied a large bow on top, she sprinkled a little sparkly dust on top. "Hope you like your purchases! And do be sure to not let the chocolate mice escape! They tend to leave chocolate trails..."

Twirling away, Jenn grabbed a broom and started humming to the Enchanted cleaning song as she swept the floor.

"Come my little friends as we all sing a happy little working song
Merry little voices clear and strong
Come and roll your sleeves up - so to speak - and pitch in
Cleaning crud up in the kitchen as we sing along..."

Lifey skipped merrily through the hufflepuff stalls, looking for her Jenn, drawn by her singing Enchanted songs.

SHe soon found the magnificant cinderella stall, and poked her way inside.

"helloooooo jennnnnn!" she giggled, looking around eagerly, and wondering if perhaps Jenn would let her borrow the borrowed fairy godmother wand for a while. "how goes it in the land of Cinderella? I heard a roomer of a kiss Prince Charming Stall, and just wanted to check to see if you'd let Blaise out of the cage to be Prince Charming, " she winked as she browsed through shoes, trying on pairs that were too small, too large, too narrow, and too wide.

"I'm trying to find a glass slipper that fits me just right." She nodded reverantly to the Cinderella portrait on a wall, "like she did!"

Hearing Lifey's giggle, Jenn dropped her broomstick and hurried to her friend's side. "Oh Lifey you're here!" She exclaimed as she clasped her hands together in a dainty mock princess-like motion. Reaching behind her rocking chair, Jenn pulled out a small sparkly purple bag that kept making humming noises. It swayed back and forth as it caught the sunlight streaming in through the windows. "I haven't forgotten about your gift! This is a special glass slipper just for you! With a special singing pearl on each tip!" She added with a wink.

"You're the fairest maid I've ever met." A high voice sang from inside the bag.

"The man you love must be lucky..I bet!" Another voice sang.

Jenn shrugged. "Sorry, they were the best I could get on wholesale price." At the mention of Blaise and Prince Charming, her dark brown eyes sparkled. "Well, you sure would have loved that wouldn't you?" Jenn laughed to herself. "I'll have you know he is still safely in the cage in teh closet! So don't think you can go sneaking over there while I'm busy here!"

Lifey gasped, her eyes wide as she heard the pearls singing from within the bag.

"Oh...ohohohooh!!!! I thought...oh!" she couldn't even form a sentence as she squealed happily, slipping the slippers onto her dainty feet, admiring the pearls, which also happened to be her birthstones. "and they're So rare" she smiled in awe.

"Oh jenn!" she threw her arms around her friend, grinning as she heard the pearls singing

"You're the fairest maid I've ever met
You were made to finish loves duet"

They trilled together, in rather good harmony, for tiny pearls.

"Wow. You taught them enchanted songs AND they harmonize beautifully!" Lifey breathed.

"Oh, and i was more hoping Draco would be....but then i realized he could escape...so i sent him to the hogwarts dungeons...to...er....stay...there. for a little bit." she smiled nervously, trying to look innocent.

but before she gets that far she see a stall with loads of magic lamps and head that way i can please have a yellow magic lamp and all 3 sort toys

Pamela walks around looking at the many stalls. She stops at Jasmine's. "Ooh, may I purchase one of the stuffed Rajah animals?" She inquired.

"Here you go," Pamela said as she handed Jasmine her 20 sickles. "Thank you." She continued walking along.

Walking towards the Hufflepuff stalls, Attie stopped at the Snow White saw. Looking through her pockets for some spare change she asked, "Can I have a chocolate covered carmel apple?" Spotting her spare change she muttered, "Trying saying that three times fast."

"Why hullo!" Snow said cheerily, one eye on Ettie and the puppy as she greeted her new customer. "Of course you can have the apple, but tell you what: If you CAN say that three times fast without garbling the words, you get a special discount! Wanna try?" Grinning, Snow folded her arms as she waited for Attie's reply.
