CARNIVAL : Parade and Float Awards

You must have completed your floats and costumes etc in the floats threads before posting here!

Once you have your float and costumes ready, you can begin this RPG parade. Only those involved in the carnival can post here.

The first person from each team MUST post a picture of their team float.

Each person who posts MUST have a small avatar size picture of their costume in each post to have their costumes graded.

You must role play the carnival parade, working with your team and promoting your float. You will all be graded on your RPG as a whole, both team work, against other teams, and standing alone.

Possible points:

Each participating member : Up to 500 points for above points

Winning Float : Awards 300 points per member of the team

Winning Costumes : Awards 250 points per member for winning team

Winning parade entertainment : Awards 200 points per member of winning team

Wizards and Witches were crowded in both sides of the street waiting for the Parade to start. Children were running everywhere. The good mood was in the air. Casual talks...

"I'm dying for this year Parade... Oh my son is going to be on one of the floats... I've made a big contribution for the construction fo the floats... I wonder what did the students prepared for us..."

Then people started to hear the sound of drums, it was like a giant elephant was stepping the ground hard making it shake. The sound grew louder and louder by the time it seemed impossible to get any louder some strange figures appeared in the end of the street. Someone screamed. Children retreated to the safety of their parents.

A small group of reptile warriors marched acrossed the street. Wearing armours and grasping several weapons. In one voice they sang:

"Arrrr humans and beasts
Arrrr blood and flesh
Today we march
Today the Snake King lives"

Behind them there was a float. A giant snake head stone was placed in the front of the float. On top of a plataform there was a huge painting of a man with a sever look in black clothes and a locket on his neck. The painting was surrounded by two green and silver flags with a 'S' on them. Status of human reptiles had also been placed on the float. On the plataform one could read:

YOU! BEHOLD OUR SNAKE PRIDE AND HISS WITH US!

Some of the people in the audience, old Slytherin members recognising the signs of their house began to humm nad hiss along.

From the float snakes were begin magically casted and heading towards the crowd:

people would retreat but the snakes would vanish before they reach them.

Raistlin was the first to break the formation. His costum included wings 1 meter tall and 3 meters wide made of dragon skin. His armour was shinning silver hand-made by a 'well convinced' goblin. The patterns on his armour were alusive to fire.

From inside of his armour Raistlin took a pack of cards and started to distribute them to the still suspicious crowd.

He gave one of them to a lady:

"I know your beauty doesnt needs embelishments but a nice jewel is always welcome."

To one specially big wizard he gave:

"Please come and try new flavours, you won't regret it."

He spotted a teenager in the crowd:

"Bring your friends and enjoy a very ertaining afternoon."

A kid was poking his leg:

"Here young boy, convince your parents to take you there and give you a new friend."

Raistlin distributed some more carda and got back to the group.

The sound of TRUMPETS rang through the air, heralding the approach of royalty! After the marching band the huffie float came soaring down the street, princesses decked out in their Huffie princess costumes.

"Hello everyone!" Snow White said happily, waving as the float drew nearer to the crowd.

"Mommy, I see a princess!" a little girl shrieked, and Snow laughed and jumped off the float, posing for a picture with the thrilled girl. After shaking hands with a grinning teenager, she climbed back onto the float in time for the Huffie ticker-tape rain! Suddenly, with the sound of harps and flutes, the very air shimmered and turned yellow, with confetti floating down...

Laughing and holding her face up to the confetti, Snow lightly threw a handful of candy enchanted not to touch the ground at a group of kids, who immediately reached into the air trying to get it all, the taller ones who were still too young to know better grabbing it right into their mouths.

Snow was glad to see people smiling and laughing. The Slythie gloom and doom didn't agree with a huffie princess, no sirree!

Suddenly blasting music piped out from underneath the float and Snow looked around curiously...I'm not sure this is the right song...but it was an enchanted song and everyone who heard it couldn't help but dance along!

Snow started singing at the top of her lungs as she danced,

Here we come out the door
Everybody get on the floor
Feel the beat and stomp those feet
We badgers are here and we’re turning up the Heat!
Badger house boogy (oh oh oh oh)
Badger house boogy
Feel the heat
Dance in your seat
Everyone get on your feet...

Wow, Ettie that is one powerful song, she thought, remembering who had created it. But now all the badgers knew it, and once they started going there was no stopping them!

"Go badgers and GOOO HUFFIES!" Snow shrieked, and abruptly the music stopped. There was an awkward moment of silence where everyone straightened their clothes and wondered why they were standing on their heads. Then Snow started singing sweetly, accompanying a flute that was piping out of the castle at the center of the float,

Oh we are the Hufflepuff Princesses
We have all the qualities you love.
We're patient, hardworking and sweet...

And Snow smiled as she saw the crowd swaying along with the music.
