Malfoy's Mansion

Rista (Rachel) silently followed Zelda into the meeting room. She was afraid that if she dared speak, she would betray her nervousness.

Zelda ( Ralph) looked at Rista ( Rachel) and whispered " Its Okay just use Occlumency ( Sorry for spelling)."

(actually, I think you spelled everything correctly)

"Oh. Yeah," Rista (Rachel) replied. She then cleared her mind of all thought and apdopted a look of mild boredom.

Shadow managed to pick up what Zelda and Rista were saying and took Zelda's advice. Shielding her mind, she prepared herself for what ever was to come.

Emmalynn was quickly getting bored and was about to get up, but sat back down immediately when Lucius, closely following Voldemort, entered the room. She reinforced the walls around her mind as she watched the men walk to the head of the table.


((By the way, sorry if I wasn't supposed to bring Voldy in yet, but we were getting nowhere.... If anyone wants me to delete it, I will, just say so here or PM me...))

Rachel (Rista) had to try hard not to fall off her chair when the Dark Lord walked in. She didn't drop her guard, though. Most likely all the Death Eaters experienced fear when he walked in, and as this was her first time seeing him, fear was definitely with her. She remained silent, and dropped her eyes deferentially.

((That's what I was thinking, but I don't really want to speak for him...))

Emmalynn was suprised at how she was more angry with her uncle than afraid of Voldemort. She had grown up with Death Eater parents, and never really feared their 'Master'. She was always just disgusted with his ideals...

Zelda ( Ralph) looked at Voldemort entering and cleared her mind. Her grandfather had helped a lot with her teaching ,but she knew that even the best Wizards such as her grandfather could fail. After looking she resisted the anger that was rising up in her. She had to control her thought. There would be time for thinking after the meeting. She had to find out what the DE's where doing. That was her job. Before Voldemort spoke Zelda ( Ralph Rundell) took out her flask and drank a big gulp and looked as incident as she could. She knew how her brother acted so she could play him very well. she looked at Rista ( Rachel Grundmann) one more time and than back at the empty wall waiting for Voldemort to stand in front of them.

Seeing Zelda (Ralph) take a drink from the flask made Rista (Rachel) realize that she was probably needing it soon. She went ahead and took a quick swallow.

Shadow tensed as she saw the Dark Lord enter the room. She immediately calmed herself down, clearing her minds and checking the barriers.

As Voldemort stood up, Emmalynn followed the example the known Death Eaters and got out of her seat to kneal on the floor. She returned to her seat and Voldemort addressed the men and women in the room.

"My followers, we all know why we are here. We need a new plan to take over the Ministry, as the last one," he glared at some Death Eaters indivually,"failed miserably."

Emmalynn remembered that one. That went horribly wrong, she thought while still keeping her mind Occluded.


((I don't think I'm very good at being Voldy, so, p,ease, anyone take over or just say what you want him to say......))

Shadow tried very hard not to tremble under Voldemort's gaze, as she knew that movement would give her away.

Yvaine quickly and silently entered the room, hopeing Voldemort didn't notice her.

Emmalynn noticed a person enter and felt really bad for her. The Drak Lord did not tolerate ..... well, anything... And, just as she thoght, Voldemort looked straight at the girl.

"You! I hope you have a good reason for being late to this meeting," he said. "So tell me, what's your name and your excuse, girl."

Emmalynn thought of interfering, but would only reveal herself as an outsider, so did not. Let's see if this girl can fend for herself... she thought.

"Lord, you know me..."Yvaine started to say. But she knew it was useless arguing with him."I-I have no reason, I'm sorry my lord!" She said.

Emmalynn glanced at the girl. She was in trouble now...

Voldemort just stared at his follower before his mouth curled into a sneer. "Very well then. You will be my first example." He raised his wand at the newcomer. "Don't flinch," he said,"Crucio!"

Emmalynn internally winced as the curse was incanted. She had never had to endure it by the hand of the Dark Lord, but she'd had it placed on her by many others....

Emmalynn was still wincing inside when the curse ended. How she hated the Unfogivables...

Voldemort faced the rest of his followers. "Now who else needs to be punished?"

Emmalynn watched as Voldemort scanned his followers for any signs of fear or insolence. She watched as he tortured three more Death Eaters before sitting at the head of the table. "I want ideas. I want a foolproof plan to take over the Ministry. And all of you are going to contibute or I'll torture every single one of you," he snarled. "Now start talking!"

Emmalynn looked around, waiting for someone to speak.

Emmalynn was starting to feel conspicuous, but that may have just been her paranoia. Either way, she decided to speak up.

"What if we just get in there at night, when no one is there and blockade it from the inside? No one is usually at the Ministry around 7:00. We could go in, take the fireplaces off the network, destroy the visitor's entrance, and basically just control it from the inside..." Emmalynn offered, making sure her mind was strongly Occluded.

Unluckily for her, though, her Uncle Lucius was now staring at her. She realized that she had not charmed her voice to change. Please don't choose now to be overly-attentive! she thought.

Shadow flinched as she watched the Dark Lord torturing the Death Eaters. They may be evil She thought but I never thought he could torture his own followers! She tried very hard not to tremble beneath her cloak. Then Emmalynn spoke up with a way to take over the ministry, but Shadow could tell that she was a bit afraid.

The fact that Lucius hadn't taken his eyes off her for the last minute was starting to break Emmalynn down. The Dark Lord was still contemplating her idea, but Emmalynn could tell that Lucius was itching to tell hm there was a spy among them. He leaned up to talk to Voldemort, and what he said was too quiet to hear, but Voldemort stared at her the entire time.

"Well my loyal followers, it seems we have aspy here today. If you don't want to die, anyone with intentions to give away our plans to the Order should stand now. If you choose not to stand, I will allow every true Death Eater here today to torture you to their heart's content, and I will take part as well," Voldemort announced to the group.

Emmalynn was seriously cosidering just Apperating away, but really was way too scared. This was the most frightening position she'd ever been in.

Shadow was now really on edge. She was debating whether to show herself and blow the whole operation, or stay put and watch one of the order be tortured. She decided to step in, but only once she had to, not wanting to put her friends in trouble.

Emmalynn was on the verge of trembling. She never thought she would be in this situation. She was terrified. Nevertheless, she slowly stood up.

"Hello, dear Uncle Lucius. I see you haven't changed personalitty wise, but the Dementors did some good damage to your looks," she spat. Then she faced the Dark Lord. "Voldemort," she said in greeting.

"Well, well. If it isn't Emmalynn Malfoy," Voldemorrt said as he raised his wand to her heart. "You should have known better... Crucio!"

Emmalynn fell to the floor in excruciating pain. Never before had she had the Cruciatus Curse placed on her by Voldemort. It was 10 times worse than when Lucius did it... She held in the scream begging to be released. That would only make him happy.

Shadow saw the cruciatus curse being cast on Emmalynn and cracked. She transformed into her soul self and sprang out of the shadows, howling like the wolf she appeared to be.

Shadow growled at the Dark Lord, feeling like ripping his throat out. She stood beside Emmalynn, hoping to protect her.

Emmalynn noticed the wolf now standing next to her. Shadow, she thought. She slowly stood up, slightly using Shadow as support.

Voldemort was furious now. "What is the meaning of this?! Where did the wolf come from?!"

Shadow decided to keep her wolfish mouth shut. She stood still as Emmalynn used her to get to her feet.

Shadow turned her head and licked Emmalynn's hand, hoping to show that Shadow wasn't going anywhere.

Emmalynn was suprised, but smiled at Shadow's wolf-form. Thank you, Shadow...she thought, hoping Shadow would get the message somehow.

"Malfoy! You don't think you can get away, do you? Even withthat pet of yours, you will not escape," Voldemort said, aiming his wand. "Crucio!"

Yet again, Emmalynn was writhing on the floor in pain. Make it stop! she thought

Shadow leapt at the Dark Lord, hoping to break his concentration and allow Emmalynn to recover a bit. She landed on the table and bounded along towards Voldemort, hackles raised and her over-long canines glinting in the candle-light.

Shadow kept her unwavering gaze looking straight into Voldemort's red eyes. She sensed Emmalynn's worry and thought very hard 'I will not get hurt, do not worry.

Shadow saw the jet of red light head for Voldemort just as he cast the cruciatus curse at her. Shadow felt like every nerve-ending in her body was on fire and she transformed back into her human form to save some of her energy. Curling up into a ball, she fought the urge to scream and waited for the curse to end.

Shadow stood up, her whole body crackling with her magic. Voldemort had gotten to his feet and Shadow was ready to shoot a bolt of magic at him as soon as he made any move what so ever to harm her friends.

Shadow hovered a few feet in the air due to her rising emotions. For once, she would welcome her father's 'interference' right now...

Shadow's hands were surrounded by her black magic, ready to strike at any time.

Shadow had not seen it coming and was thrown several meters along the table. She hissed in pain, her eyes tightly shut. Random objects started to fly around the room, encased in her black magic.

The Death Eaters in the room ducked as Shadow slowly lost control until her eyes widened and she started to fight the curse on her. Struggling to her feet, she transformed into a wolf, howling as she continued to fight the curse.
