Hospital Wing

"Be on your way." Madam Pmofrey said. "Oh, yeah, so what really happened?" Yvaine asked Shadow in a childish tone.

"I refuse to read people's minds."

"Huh?" Yvaine asked as the two of them made their way back to the Great Hall.

(off to the great hall, then?)

(Ok.)
"As I said, I refuse to read people's minds." Shadow walked to the great hall with Yvaine.

Zelda followed willow in and helped her into the hall. " Ill go get Madam Pomfrey." Zelda said as she went over to her office. A minuet later she came running over to Willow... " What is wrong?" She asked Willow.

Shadow walked into the Hospital wing for the third time, limping heavily. She spotted the other two and painfully made her way over.
"Seems like we're always in here."

Shadow sat down in a chair, feeling like her leg was on fire. She muttered a few curses under her breath.

"Scorpious decided to duel me, and used 'sectumsempra'." She pulled back her cloak to show several deep gashes over her body, all of which were pouring black blood.

Shadow shrugged.
"I have no idea." She pulled her cloak back around her, hiding the wounds from view.

Madam Pompfry looked at Willow and said... " Oh yes.. It will be easy ,but I am still going to keep you in here for a couple of hours.. You need rest my dear... I will be back in a bit with a potion and everything will be Okay. " She said as she turned around.

After a couple of minuets in her office she came back with a blue looking potion and a pink looking potion. She pored the blue on in a cup and said..." Drink this.. It will heal you ,but you will feel weak after it. Don't worry ,that is why I have brought out the pink potion. After you take the blue ,take as much of the pink potion as you can. It will put you to sleep almost as soon as it touches your lips. " Madam Pompey said as she turned around.

After a couple of minuets in her office again she came out to see if Willow had taken the potions and saw that another student was in the room. " Shadow!!! What happened?" She asked.

Shadow smiled weakly.
"Fight with Scorpius."

" Well I see that you have huge gashes." Madam Pomfrey said as she directed Shadow to a bed.. " I will be back in just a bit to get you some potion." She said as she walked over towards her office. Before she went to her office she picked up Willows wand and put it on the table by her bed. She than pulled a cover over her and walked into the office.

When in her office she grabbed her wand and a green potion along with another pink sleeping one.

" Okay Shadow... I will need to drink this first green one first and than the pink just as I told Willow. Except your wounds seem to be worse.. They are gashes.. You will be in here all day I am afraid" Madam Pomfrey said with a grim look.

Madam pomfrey looked at Shadows wounds and pointed her hand in several places. With strong healing charms and the potions she would surly return back to normal. Now that she was content she looked over to where Zelda was and smiled.. " They will be just fine... " After that she went to her office.

Zelda looked at the two sleeping figures and than at Oddie.. She sat and started to read the daily prophet.

Catheryne walked in with a large burn on her arm, a little self-concious she asked Madam Pomfrey for a place to rest and wait for the burn to heal. Madam Pomfry exclaimed, "Oh it is just a silly little burn, I can fix it right now." As she said this Madam flicked out her wand and said a healing charm as Catheryne started to shout no!
Catheryne's burn turned a shade of green and started making a buzzing sound. She tried to hide it and started, "It's nothing, I just need some rest-," but she was interrupted by Pomfrey who sighed, "Another burn curse, go sit over in bed number 4. I'll have someone go over and figure out a counter."
Catheryne quickly walked over to the bed and cursed her luck that the door knob to the Hufflepuff Only Club had a counter curse on it.

Shadow sat bolt upright, a hand flying to her head.
"Curse these nightmares!" She muttered.

Catheryne nearly jumped. She always hated staying in here. The only people who ever had to stay were those without immediate cures. She thought, "Only the nutters and the stupid people have to stay...I guess I'm one of them though."

Shadow noticed another girl sitting in the hospital wing, and identified it as Catheryne. Seeing the burn on her arm, Shadow got up and limped over.
"Do you need a hand to heal that?" She asked.

Catheryne started, "Sort of, but it has been jinxed so magic only makes it worse. Apperently someone thought it up for muggle studies and it is suposed to be only curable with muggle methods or just letting it heal naturally-" she paused, "You could try your magic since it is a bit different then the traditional magic around here." She laughed a little,"Besides after 10 spells which just increased the pain it just started changing colors instead."

Zelda looked at the person coming in again and than smiled at the new girl... " Looks like a bad burn." She said .. " Do you need any help?" Zelda asked.

Catheryne looked a little shocked and said, "Thanks Zelda, but Shadow seems to have taken care of it." She turned to Shadow, "Thanks, I think I still see a tint of green, but the burn is completly gone." She noticed the spell seemed to have drained Shadow a bit and asked her, "Hey, what's your favorite food? I'll have to get something from the kitchens as a proper thank you and ever think of becoming a Healer? You seem to have a knack."

"Thanks Catheryne, but I'd better rest right now. I don't think my system's up to eating anything right now. Healing uses an lot of energy..." Shadow suddenly felt really dizzy before passing out.

Zelda heard Madam Pomfrey coming back and she quickly looked at Shadow.. she grabbed her and forced her into bed..


" Well well well.. shadow is still asleep is she?" Madam Pomfrey said.

Madam Pomfrey looked at Catheryne and noticed her burn was gone, "Well. Your fine, now out. No use in taking up space."
Catheryne was still concerned about Shadow so she thought quickly. "Well actually I still feel a little ill," Catheryne said. She faked a cough and threw a Fainting Fancy that she had taken from a first year into her mouth. She fell back onto the bed and Madam Pomfrey had no choice, but to leave her be.

Shadow came round again after a few minutes, feeling really drained. Her nervous system never let her stay asleep for long as it always detected noise. She struggled to stand up.

Catheryne's concious had woken up, but as she tried to move her limbs she would not budge.
"Drat!" She thought, "I should have known to check the expiration date."
She struggled for a little and began to wiggle her feel a bit, but wasn't making much progress. "Oh well, at least the bed is comfy," she figured. She looked out of the corner of her eye and noticed Shadow was fine, so she let herself relax and think about her homework.

Shadow smiled weakly at Willow.
"Lucky you, you can leave."

Zelda smiled at Willow and walked over to her.

Zelda turned around. Once she saw Shadow she smiled.. Zelda had forgotten about her since she saw the new girl walk in.. " Yes Shadow.. do you need me to?" Zelda asked with a smile.

Shadow didn't really know what to say.
"I think that I need to rest a bit, thanks for the offer..."

Shadow nodded and sat down.

Zelda walked with Willow out and said to Shadow as she left.. " Ill be back later to see how you are doing." Zelda said.

Shadow bowed her head.
"I'll look forward to it."

Zelda smiled and shut the door.

Shadow curled up on the bed, closing her eyes.

Shadow opened one eye.
"Bye Oddie."
