Hospital Wing

"I hate it in here," said Natalie, shivering, "its all full of sick people...ew," a green looking boy looked at her, "No offense like."

Riley smiled.
"Well what appears to be the problem with you .... Shadow is it?"

Natalie smiled.

"Sword related issues...Shadow will tell you," said Natalie

Shadow looked up at the boy, frowning slightly.

Eliza walked in supporting Zeke.
"..What did I tell you about how to avoid falling?"
"I know, but I forgot..." Eliza looked up to see a little crowd around Shadow's bed.
"Who's dying?"

"Shadow." Raven said.
"No I'm not!" Shadow replied.

"People," Holly said shrugging.

"Hi Eliza, Zeke," said Hayley, "And nobody's 'dying', thank the Lord."

"Tell me about it." Shadow muttered.

Holly smiled awkwardly.

Hayley did the same, not sure what to say next.

"So Riley," Holly said, making conversation, "Whos the lady you were giving flowers to?"
Riley shuffled awkwardly.
"My nan," he said smiling a little, "Shes been in for a while...just thought id come see her...,"
In her head, Holly "AWWWWWWW!" 'ed.

"Sweet," said Hayley smiling, at Riley. "Hope she gets better soon," The door opened and Jake walked in. "Ah," he said spotting Hayley, "Thought you'd be here." He ruffled Hayley glossy, black hair. She shrugged away and patted it down. "Argh! It's a mess now!" she laughed to signify she was kidding.

"Aw...thats so sweet," said Natalie, smiling.

((Hannah...a little question...has Rileys Granny been in the hospital wing since her school days...is this not the hogwarts hospital wing? lol))

Shadow stood up, swaying slightly before she sat down again.
"So, what's been going on?" She asked.

"We dont know," Holly said to Shadow.

Holly turned to Riley.
"Yeah, that is sweet," she said grinning, "Sweet like you,"

"Zeke fell off his broom."
He shrugged.
"A guy on my team lost control and banged into me. He broke my training broom." He showed the remains of a shooting star.

"You can borrow mine for mow if you want. I won't be flying for a while." Shadow said.

"You cant borrow mine," Holly said unhelpfully but apologetically, "I fly everyday......you alright Zekers?"

"Well, I got a broom, it's in the post. Getting a firebolt, but thanks for the offer. Yeah, I'm ok."

"Good good," Holly said.
Riley turned to the two.
"Um, hi, Im Riley by the way," he said grinning.

"You can't have mine either...my firebolt is my pride and joy," said Natalie, smiling.

"Aw," Holly said lovingly.

Natalie smiled.

Holly smiled back.

"Well...smiling these days is over-rated...pouting on the other hand.." said Natalie, pouting, "is just plain ugly."

Shadow watched the pair, seemingly emotionless. Inside though, she was grinning.

Natalie looked at Shadow...and she thought she sensed a bit of emotion....wait, did I just sense her emotion...can you read my mind Shadow?

"I certainly hope not." Shadow said, having not realised that she had.

Holly furrowed her brow, scared.

"What?" Shadow asked, seeing Holly's look.

"Oh my...well...I'm glad I didn't drop divination then," said Natalie, surprised

"What are you talking about?" Shadow asked.

"I dont know what shes talking about," Holly said, "And i know non important stuff!"

Shadow shrugged, and winced slightly as the bandages rubbed against the wounds.

"Mind reading...and all that...like legilancy and occlumancy...I sometimes can see into people's minds...and...other times I can't...I can't explain it," Natalie shivered

"I do that all the time." Shadow said.

Hayley smiled at Holly and Natalie, who were being eejits as usual, then akwardly said to Shadow, "Does it hurt alot?" The question sounded stupid, but she was trying to make conversation.

Holly grinned at the "attempting to make conversation" girl.

"Well...its oozing blood...so Hayley...want do you think, it tickles," said Natalie sarastically, then laughed.

Holly glanced at Natalie, taking in the really bad joke she had just made.
Riley smiled at the look on her face.

Natalie smiled at Holly and Riley...they were a match made in heaven, she though...and she sincerely hoped that Riley was rubbish at legilancy.

Hayley grinned, and silently agreed with Natalie- Holly and Riley were perfect.

George, sensing these thoughts, passed them to Holly, who agreed with Natalie, that Riley had better not be able to read minds.
She grinned into herself though.
