You should only post your individual costume and not that of any other cast member.

| Griselda, Griselda...
The costume for Griselda (Ugly Stepsister #2) consists of a number of things you may find in any spoiled teenage girl's closet. Starting with a pair of classic black flats, add a pair of black capris, bright blue with a bold black ribbon around the waist top, and, at the head, a bleached-blonde wig completes the look of this beautiful on the outside, yet ugly on the inside, ugly stepsister.
Off to the ball! For the ball, Grizzy kept it simple with an adorable red dress and a pair of strappy black heels. She may have to kick off the heels for dancing, but she'll manage.
Buttons...
For Buttons (the valet of the Baron's home), the costume is relatively simple (besides the whole girl playing a guy deal). A nice white shirt under a blue sweater for the top, and a pair of gray pants for the bottoms. A pair of black shoes and a wig of shaggy brown hair completes the look. At one point or another, a flower may be in his hand when he feels the need to express his love for Cinderella, but, other than that, this is his basic costume.

| Gertrude Gertie is the older, more evil and self-centered step sister. She is obsessed with her looks, takes accessorizing to ridiculous lengths, and strongly believes the color green makes her appear more youthful. This first outfit is her main costume, which she will don before and after the ball. Her clothes emphasize her wishes to be a lady, but as usual she gets it wrong. Gertrude in Gown This is Gertie's ball gown, her accesories are a little more under control, but that is due to Cinderella's help. The dress is way to bright and tight for a ball, but it will get Gertie what she thinks she wants, attention. The pink shoes echo her color scheme of pink and green. King Cuthbert Prince Charming's dad is stylish in his old school way, and cuts a very impressive figure on the stage. I dressed him in a military dress style, in order to give him an air of authority. While he is gray haired it is easy to see where the Prince gets his good looks (and let's say a big thanks to Polyjuice potion that will enable me to look like this!) | |

| EVIL STEPMOTHER: The Evil Stepmother wears nothing plain, but as it isn't proper to be seen on the streets in flashy colors by a woman of her age and social status, she wears only gray, silver and black most of the time. She believes that those colors best set off her sharp violet eyes. However, even her plainest dresses always have a fancy flair, as is evident by the draped sleeves and corseted waist in this linen gown. Her hair is always stiff and swept up, her makeup flawless. She wears a necklace made of rare watersilver, always warm to the touch, changes colors according to personalities and moods, and can only be cut with the stem of a live tiger lily. She doesn't even like it that much, preferring rubies and emeralds, but as this necklace belonged to Cinderella's mother, she wears it simply to rub salt in Cinderella's wounds. On her feet she wears sturdy black shoes, excellent for kicking little nasty things out of the way. When she goes out to banquets or balls (and she has a lot of those, as nobody wants to be on her bad side) she wears one of the many fine gowns she has in her wardrobe. This silk emerald one, trimmed in white fur and lace, is a particular favorite. It is one of her most extravagant gowns, and she feels like royalty while wearing it, especially when combined with the delicate gold circlet around her head. Her daughters scoff, but ah, they are so young, the dears! The watersilver necklace is, as always, present around her neck. When she raises her gown ever so slightly to step out of her carriage, silk white slippers adorned with emeralds peep out. DANDINI: Ah, the Prince's best friend. At the royal court, his clothes are subtly expensive, yet not too rigid. He wears a white cotton shirt underneath a cashmere sweater vest, with a silky green-striped tie expertly fastened around his neck. For cooler weather, he has a brown, one-button, pinstripe jacket made of the finest wool and velvet. He chooses never to wear an overcoat. His trousers are comfortably worn-in yet not too grungy, with lots of pockets because you just never know when you'll need something from those bottomless pockets! And those chains aren't just for show, there is an actual pocket watch tucked into his left pocket. It was a gift from the Prince. He owns about 10 pairs of trainers, and alternates between them most of the time. He is lucky that the King is not too particular about footwear...though he does own a couple of fancier dress shoes and wears them occasionally. The Prince tried coaxing Dandini into wearing the Royal Friend leaf circlet on his head, but Dandini staunchly refused. He stuck to classic black and white, wearing a white cotton shirt with french cuffs underneath a charcoal, merino wool, vested suit with hidden buttons. He wears a black silk tie and a tiny gold pin bearing the royal insignia. And yes, he's wearing the elusive, sleek leather dress shoes. | |
