HE Pantomime: SLEEPING BEAUTY: Costumes Narratordoll-pantomime

This costume for Cassandra Elyria, the Narrator, was inspired by fall leaves, a sense of professionalism, and the overall season of autumn, the season that many long for in these chilly days. This outfit is special because it combines fun, one-of-a-kind crystal fruit earrings with a professional tan skirt, and a funky autumn-inspired shirt and red heels with bows.

Welcome behind the scenes to my dressing room. My name is Kathleen Elizabeth Claire, but you can call me Katie and I play the Queen in the Sleeping Beauty Pantomime as put on by the Hogwarts Experience. My cahrector is the mother of the princess. Her full name is Her Royal Highness Queen Isabella Victoria Faith Williamson. I hope you enjoy learning about the making of her costume. Enjoy!

HE Pantomime: SLEEPING BEAUTY: Costumes Doll1

Well, this is the costume I wear when I am playing the queen. It is a very flattering blue dress with a light blue tubing that seperates the roso from the flair of the skirt. THis outfit also has a sleeves to make the dress more formal. The shoes are silver high heels with straps that continue to the shin wich helps enlongate the legs. The jewelary is made from the finist gold and jewlels namely saphire.

This dress was inspired by a modern prom dress made more formal to be fitting for a queen. We wanted it to be fun yet fitting for a queen.

Hi everyone! Welcome to my dressing room! Mind you, please take your shoes off as I just vacuumed and you wouldn't believe how hard it is it get dirt stains out of my carpet. Poor Dobby was up all night helping me!

So hello again. I'm Jenn and I'm playing the wonderfully important part of the Fairy Queen. I know that you may not think it's very important since Disney cut me from their movie. You bring a couple of props home and you're written off the movies for life! People are just so over protective these days...I was going to bring it back for goodness sake.

But yes I'm the Fairy Queen and my friends call me the Fairy Queen. *silence* If you dare to call me Fai or Fa I swear that would be the last word you'll ever say. Now where was I? Oh yes, this is my costume as you can see. It's a lovely off the shoulder silk gown that total in fashion now I must tell you. And valuable! I must say, you couldn't find any silk more pure in the entire world! Why I've been told that I look like a vision of angelic beauty when I wear the costume if I do say so myself...in fact I told myself that just this morning! White chiffon sleeves with pure fox white fur lining the edges of the sleeves complete the look. And to top it off, I've had red lilies stitched onto the hem and the bodice of the dress. Those elves are so sweet I tell you. And my crown you ask? Why goblin made of course. Although it belonged to my grandmother so I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell them I inherited it. Those goblins are always trying to steal it back. I've also braided my hair with silver strands of white silk. And my glass slippers gives it a nice finishing touch don't you think?

"But isn't the glass slipper supposed to be on the Cinderella side of the play?"

Jenn pursed her lips and frowned at the offending person who asked the question. "Well, who are you Sherlock? I'll give it back." She said with a wave of her hand. "Now if you'd excuse me I really must be going now."

With that said, Jenn suddenly drooped down and sat down hard onto her chair. "Wow, it's nice to be Jenn again..." She said breathlessly as she blinked as she came out of her trance. "That teaches me not to just drink anything Elana and Lifey gives me anymore. You'd think I learned my lesson from that potion Ginny gave me in the common room the other week..."
