{Falling Stars- Seeker}

Rigby stood in front of her temporary Falling Stars locker, searching desperatly for her shoes. At the moment her feet were clad only in green and olive striped socks, and she really didn't want to leave her tender footsies to the mercy of bludgers. Finally giving up on her shoe search, she slid down on the floor.

Hmm, all I have is my sandals, which of course would be a big fashion no-no to wear with socks, especially with socks that pretty much already clashed with themselves. Suddenly inspiration struck. Slipping on her sandels, she dug out the roll of black duct tape that she kept on hand for moments such like this one. Magic can do a lot, but nothing beat duct tape.

She wrapped her sandals and socks tightly in the tape, adding several layers. It wasn't pretty, but at least now she just looked like she had on really ugly black boots. Rigby hopped to her feet, grateful that all the game play would be on her broom, as her wrapping job was slightly uneven.

She jumped on her broom and flew low through the tunnels, emerging onto the pitch and into the bright sunlight. Despite her late start no one was in the air. Sighing, she grabbed her iPod and starting watching the latest episode of Gossip Girl that she had just downloaded, hoping that Blair and Chuck were and item again....

(Racing Reindeer--seeker)

Pamela got up early. This time her head would be in the game better. She promised herself that she would also keep a firm grip on the broom. She put on some striped toe sockes that had little reindeer on the toes and bells on the top. No one would see them, but they were cute an would keep her legs and toes warm during the game.

She grabbed her broom and made her way down to the locker room. Robing up quickly, she did a quick check in the mirror. She wondered if she would be the first out again, but when she got out to the pitch she saw that the other team's seeker was already there along with two of their chasers. She mounted her broom and flew up to say hello real quick before the game started. "Good luck guys!" She said.

This post does not exist. In actual reality it is just a figment of your over-active imagination. Please, don't stress, it happens to us all once in a while.

Racing Reindeer- Chaser

As Katie made her way down to the pitch she made a resolution to herself to never get stuck in a flying bubble. Ever. Again. She was still scrubbing peices of it out of her hair. So as she made her way to the locker room and tied her hair in the now trademark french braids she found herself finding addition sticky pink wads in her hair.

Shaking her head, she made her way out to the pitch and mounted her broom. Katie kicked off and joined her teammates in the air.

(Racing Reindeer - Beater)

June grabbed her broom and bat and ran onto the pitch. Her heart was pounding as she mounted her broom. Game time! She kicked off with a whoop and soared into the air. She grinned and waved to her teammates as well as everyone else. Their last game had been lots of fun and June knew that this game would be as well. From within her robes, June withdrew her bubble gun.

Racing Reindeer Chaser

Katie hurried over to June to make sure she was well out of the way of whatever bubble was to come and to warn her friend of the potential hair disaster it could cause.

Pamela was happy to see that two of her teammates had made it to the pitch. She flew over to them. "Hey guys! Ready for a good game?" She said. "Oh, Katie, you've got something in the bottom of your braid."

Rista began flying around for a while. She wondered when the match would start. She hoped it would be soon. She went into a sudden dive and pulled back up at the last minute. She needed a little adrenaline. She was still a little drowsy.

June began to fly laps around the pitch, just enjoying the feeling of flying. After doing a bit of warm-up, June looked downwards, hoping that the game would begin soon. She smiled in excitement as she saw the ball fly from their box into the air. Yes!!! June dove for a black bludger and drew her bubble gun. She closed one eye, slowed in the air, aimed, and fired. She watched the giant bubble float towards where she hoped the bludger would be in a few seconds. Then again, bludgers were always erratic.... But thankfully, this one wasn't.

The bludger was sucked into the bubble and was slowed. June grinned and raced to it, before a Falling Stars Beater could. June reached the bubble and smiled mischievously. Time to do some damage... She began to tap the bubble automatically, but did this darting towards the bubble and then away from it. She really didn't want to get sucked into that bubble with a bludger inside it...

When June had positioned herself and the bubble/bludger appropriately, she sighted down her bat, raised it, and hit the bubble. Or at least she tried to. June drew her bat back after the hit and stared at it. Oh... my... gosh..... It must be colder than she realized, because the bubble was now stuck to her bat! June shook it violently, trying to get the bat and the bubble to separate. Nothing happened, except that she almost hit herself in the face. Fantastic.

June glared at her bat. Stupid bat, stupid bubble, stupid cold weather... She looked around her and saw Dragon. Fed up with her stupid bat, stupid bubble, and the stupid cold weather, June hurled her bat at the Chaser with all her might. Huh... that bat+bubble+bludger combination actually looked quite funny. She giggled and smiled. Now she needed to find another bat....

Pamela saw the snitch for a moment, then was distracted by some very odd techniques being employeed by June. She laughed as she saw the unique object flying toward the other team's chaser. She wondered how that would affect things.

After her moment of amusement she began her hunt for the snitch. She hoped she would find it quickly and without incident, but if she knew quidditch, this probably wouldn't be the case...especially holiday quidditch.

June looked around for another bat. It wasn't as if she could steal another player's.... No, it looked as if she'd have to improvise. As she scanned the audience, her eyes lit upon a Gryffindor waving a bat striped with red and green: holiday colors. Yes! June flew down to him and said, "Can I borrow that?" He looked confused, but June just smiles, took the bat out of his hand, and flew back into the game. She looked towards her old bat+bubble+bludger and grinned as she realized that it was still flying straight for Dragon's back. Perfect. June flew towards the center of the pitch, on the lookout for bludgers, bubbles, and random objects, for example, teapots.

Pamela was beginning to get rather cold. She thought longingly of the hot chocolate she used to have at every match. She wondered if she could get one of the people in the stands to get her a cup. She flew down to the stands, still keeping an eye out for the snitch. A first year obliged, and as she drank it, she decided she'd have some fun. "Watch this, please," she said as she handed it back. Then she soared upward as fast as she could putting on a determined face. She wondered if she could get the other seeker to follow.

Pamela was still flying upward, not paying much attention to her surroundings. She finally decided that the other seeker wasn't going to follow. Perhaps she hadn't even noticed. Now she just looked silly.

She began to turn around and saw, just in time, that the bludger hybrid was heading right for her. Growling, she attempted a sloth grip roll. Somehow she lost hold of the broom with her right arm as she was spinning, and the bludger hit it.

Her eyes filled instantly, and she began to curse. She didn't think any bones had been broken, but she'd have a nasty bruise. "Well, at least no one will notice that my trick didn't work," she whispered to herself. Paying no attention to the bludger's new course, she resumed her search.

June's eyes opened wide as she saw the bat+bludger+bubble heading right towards Pamela!!! June flattened herself on her broom and narrowed her eyes as she flew towards her friend. She couldn't let her friend get hit! But it seemed as if June wouldn't be able to reach her in time! As the bludger hybrid flew towards the seeker, Pamela did... something... and got hit in her arm. June flew to her and asked, "Are you okay?" While waiting for an answer, June chanced a look behind her and saw that the bat+bubble+bludger was heading towards Alitevy!

(Racing Reindeer Seeker)

"I'm fine," Pamela said. "Well, nothing's broken anyway," she added. The whole time they were discussing her minor injury, Pamela's eyes were darting in all directions. Now she really hoped she'd fine the snitch soon.

(Racing Reindeer Beater)

June nodded and smiled, relieved. "That's great," she said. As she spoke, she realized that Pamela was searching for the snitch. That reminded June that she should be searching for bludgers and/or the bludger hybrid. Behind Pamela, a dart of black flashed towards her, and it took June a second to recognize that a bludger was heading right towards her team's Seeker! "Pamela, duck!" June cried, readying her bat.

Pamela gave a little yell as she performed a sloth grip roll. She was actually successful this time. Breathing a sigh of relief, she went back to her normal position. Once righted, she saw what she had been searching for. The snitch was below her near the middle of the pitch.

Winking at June, she took off. Once she was near the middle of the pitch she began the decent. Unfortunately the snitch shot upward just as she dove. She saw it passed her. She punched the air, and flew up in pursuit. It darted to the right. It was as if the snitch were playing with her. She knew that she must look awful silly, but she kept after it, hoping the other seeker would not notice she'd seen the snitch.

June smiled as Pamela performed a perfect Sloth Grip Roll. As Pamela ducked, June raised her bat and with a WHACK!, sent the bludger spinning towards Dragon. June nodded as Pamela winked, and bent low to her broom, flying after the bludger she had just hit. She wanted to make sure that it was on track... Hopefully, the bat+bludger+bubble was still on track to Attie, and June was determined to be completely (well, as completely as possible) sure that this bludger would hit its target. June came up behind the bludger, sighted to Dragon, and hit it again. She smiled as the bludger picked up speed, and dropped back.

Meanwhile, Pamela was still having trouble with the stubborn snitch. She wondered vaguely if using June's bubble gun would be considered cheating. Shrugging off that thought, she decided that she'd give the snitch a taste of it's own medicine.

She dropped beneath it, keeping her eye on it the entire time. Then she moved in a loop around it. The snitch did the reverse of her moves, but didn't take off. This might actually be a good (if crazy) idea. She then darted to the right and zipped back to the left. Then she circled the snitch and laughed as the snitch stayed in one spot and spun.

She had it now. She reached out and....missed. She was dizzy from all the fast moves and her judgement was off. In that instant, the snitch decided to stop playing and disappear. "Fudge!" She shouted.

{Falling Stars- Seeker}

Rigby looked up from her iPod, dismayed to see the game had started. Stowing her favorite toy back into her qudditch robes, she quickly scanned the skies to get a picture of what was happening. She watched the Racing Reindeer seeker narrowly miss catching the snitch. Rigby was stunned.

Okay, time to get back to planet earth. Shaking the cobwebs from her thoughts she raced after the snitch. She was several yards away from it, and it was racing fast. If she could just keep an eye on it then there was a possibility that a chance to catch it would arise.

(Racing Reindeer seeker)

Pamela had barely shaken off her dizziness when the other seeker had taken off. Pamela couldn't see the snitch, so it may be a trick, but she couldn't risk it.

Flattening against her broom, she raced after the other seeker. "Please, please, please," she muttered. Her broom was a good one, so in a short time, Pamela wasn't far behind in the race. She just hoped she could catch up in time or one of the beaters on her team would see what was going on.

Racing Reindeer - Chaser

This game was turning out to be as wild as the last one. Katie decided to add to the pandomonium just a little. She noticed Ingrid heading towards the quaffle, but Katie was closer. She flattened herself on the broom and darted of towards the red ball catching it easlily in her gloved hands.

Feeling a little mischevious, Katie took out a little bottle of a rainbow potion and placed three drops on the now invisible quaffle.

This should make matters interesting she thought to herself.

(Racing Reindeer - Beater)

June flew down towards Katie. "I'll guard!" June shouted towards her. She smiled as she watched her friend pick up the quaffle with ease, and turn it invisible. Huh... a mischievous light appeared in June's eyes. This would make things much more interesting... To throw the other team off the path of the quaffle, June cast Sonorus on herself. "Oh no! The quaffle! Where did the quaffle go?!?! How could you drop it Katie, how could you???" June cried tearfully and winced a little as her maginified voice echoed through the air. She surreptitiously winked at Katie and wondered how everyone would react.

Racing Reindeer Chaser

Katie was please with the amount of confusion mounted on the opposing players faces. It made her happy to think she had actually doen something not quite legal. XD. However, he giddynish was starting to show and was taking away her brain's ability to think logically. She heard someone singing if your happy and you know it and immediatly joined in. She even did the hand motions. Then she realized she wasn't holding the still invisible quaffle anymore. "Uhh Oh!" Katie said aloud as she darted throught the air trying to find the now falling (and still very invisible ball)!

//I typed a long post.... and then guess what? I hit a button and boom!, I was transported to google news... and I clicked back and the post was lost. I am now extremely miffed, am going to re-type it in an extremely short, un-like-how-I-usually-type-form. Just a piece of useless infor.\\

June watched Dragon warily as the Hufflepuff looped Katie. She flew down lower in case Katie needed help. She looked around for a bludger. The sun was bright and June shielded her eyes as she looked upwards. *gasp* A shadow! A shadow had just flitted in front of the sun. Oh, of course, it's GOT to be a bludger! June pulled up on her broom, heading for the bludger.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" she shrieked as she shot upwards, getting faster and faster. What was going on with her broom? It was acting up. why was it acting up! June would've smacked the handle to maybe shake her broom into a strange form of obedience, but she was too fearful for her life to lift a hand. She clutched the broom as she got closer and closer to the bludger. Smart or not, June made a move. She closed her eyes. Tight. Very tight. And prepared for a collision. After a few seconds, she slowly and unwillingly opened them. Nothing had happened.... Why had nothing happened? Huh... the bludger had gone away.

Suddenly, June was thrown to the right by her broom. She breathed a sigh of relief... no longer was she heading straight up, now she was flying to her right.... But why had her broom done that? June practically collapsed on the handle, her palms sweaty from her scare and glared at her broom. "Why did you do that?!" she asked. "You practically gave me a heart-attack!!!" As she looked down, June noticed something coming up to her... a bludger? June focused on it more and realized that it wasn't the one that she had just been heading towards.

It hit her like a lightning bolt. Not the bludger, audience, THE REALIZATION! Her broom had taken her so fast and so... up.... so that she could escape that bludger! June hugged her broom in a sudden act of spontaneity. "Thanks!!!!!" she squealed and picked up her bat. The bludger would be there at any moment now... Here it came!!WHAM!!!!! June hit the bludger spiralling down towards Dragon.

She smiled happily and flew down, chasing after it. She'd flown high up and wanted to get back down to where everyone else was, in case any of her team needed her. In fact, it was a good thing too, because Katie had just dived. What had happened? From the looks of it, Katie had... dropped the quaffle?! No!!!! June flew after her in pursuit.

//XD Okay, so it didn't come out that short... sorry... but... you have to admit, it's not how I usually type. I am not so miffed now .\\

June shouted, "KATIE DUCK!!!!!!!" Not sure if her friend would register the shout in time, June dove closer to her and raised her bat. Thank heavens she was already practically next to her friend, looking for the quaffle. As the bludger hurtled towards her, June gulped and clenched her hands around the base of her bat. Here it came.... June swung, trying to somehow get it out of Katie's way and towards Dragon. Perhaps she was too confined. Perhaps it was because she was already stressed out. Perhaps perhaps perhaps... But whatever the reason, June hit the bludger, half with her bat, half with her arm. Ow. ow ow ow ow ow!!!!

June winced as the bludger spun off at a strange angle and doubled over, rubbing her arm. Then she remembered that Dragon had probably gotten the quaffle by now. June forced herself to rid her mind of the pain, sat up, and flew after the bludger. It wasn't very fast and was still close, which was a sincere blessing. June muttered, "Faster, faster!" Her broom, ever faithful, complied. It spurred on and June raised her bat, trying to keep her injured arm out of the way.

Before she reached the bludger, June quickly turned her head and spied Dragon, heading towards the Racing Reindeer goal posts. NO!!! June focused once more on the bludger and drew her uninjured arm out, bat in hand. She swooped it out in a wide arm and hit the bludger, sending it straight towards Dragon's back. June winced as pain shot through her injured arm, but flew towards the bludger, tracking it. Her eyes flitted in all directions, determined to make sure that this bludger hit.

The game is now closed! The final Holiday Quidditch game will be up shortly.
