Part 2 ~*Creative Time*~

This plant is called the Heavenly Dancer (Uranicus Praesul)

It is a deep blood red, has one parent trunk with several swishing tendrils branching out, reaching a total height of 1.5 metres. These tendrils sway gently to and fro. They may seem benign, but if the plant or whatever the plant is protecting is threatened, then its defence mechanism kicks into action. It is designed to protect any small but extremely important item that should only be used for good. It should be kept within three metres of the protected item to ensure full protection. When the item is threatened, the bottom tendrils grab hold of the item with an unbreakable and the rest of the tendrils at the top spray the attacker with a painful solution: a mixture of concentrated sulphuric acid, swelling solution and bubotuber pus (it is a distant relative of the bubotuber plant). To maintain it, you need to feed it with Niffler droppings every 3.65 days and give it 9.3 drops of water every day at midnight. To give it the necessary nutrition without it attacking you, first say to it (because it understands human languages, though it cannot talk), “Oh great dancer, I offer you food.” It can sense if you are telling the truth and it will not attack you. Although if you do not feed it, it will get annoyed and attack you. If you do not give it water every day, it will not protect your item and will die within a week if it doesn’t have any food.

Part 2 ~*Creative Time*~



The Pixieba Tulip was created by the pixies of the gardens to aid in the protection of the small garden beings which look after the growth of the flowers. Its main source of protection comes from its middle. When it feels itself or the garden beings are threatened, it opens its orangy petals and lets out an almighty high pitched scream, invisible to humans, which alerts the small garden folk of a dark presence. It is particularly afraid of dogs and gnomes who threaten to destroy the gardens.
The garden folk maintain the flower by pixie magic, helping it to grow to the size of a small sunflower, peering above the grass and other flowers of the garden.
Most Pixieba Tulip’s are an orangy colour with a faded green stem to mingle in with the rest of the flowers and appeal to the natures of humans, yet pixies are able to put an invisibility cloaking system around in in case the humans want to get rid of it.
It has a sweetened odour which becomes stronger and more fowl when danger is lurking and is able to shoot small spikes from its middle as a last protective resort.
These flowers are not sold on the market, as it is the sheer creativity of the garden pixies, yet most humans mistake it for flowers they have planted themselves due to the invisibility cloaking device.

Part 2 ~*Creative Time*~

Create a plant of your choice that will protect something. Please explain what you wish for this plant to protect. Make sure you state what its composed of, how it protects its self, and how you maintain it so it doesn’t get out of control.

Don’t be afraid to state what it looks like, such as texture, color, and size. If you are able to show a picture or drawing, you will be rewarded 5 bonus points. Just remember to be creative, and have fun. This essay should be a minimum of 200 to a maximum of 500 words. The more detail the more points will be rewarded.

The Cruciactus Cactus- A nasty little plant that is used to guard the Malfoy Manor hence the reason that the Malfoys don't have to worry about dealing with burglers. The Cruciactus cactus stands 5 feet tall, has broad wide arms full of poisonous thorns that when stabbed by the painful needles it produces an effect exactly like the Cruciactus curse. The victims feel extreme pain and if too many thorns are imbedded into the victim at one time then the cactus is capable of driving the victim insane. With just one large yellow flower on top of it, it looks like an ordinary cactus but luckily these cati are not found in common muggle shops and deserts or else there would be an outbreak of muggles going insane. This cactus was first founded back in 1911. It was called the Creep cactus back then but once Lord Voldemort made his presence known, the cactus name was changed to Cruciactus Cactus. It was said that Lucius's Malfoy great great great great grandfather actually owned one yet no such evidence has been found. But the cactus does favor those of the dark arts. it is unwize to touch one with out wizard gloves.

PART TWO:

my plant is called dead hearts thrower
its black and the branches are red
its not big or small its just the normal size like any flower
and it has got 2 teeth from left and right in its mouth
and 2 tounges up and down in its mouth
and it can smell like the dogs , it knows me from my smell so it doesnt hurt me
it lives near fire only
and if someone comes near it ,first it warns by throwing a white liquid on the floor that transforms into small spiders but with poison but they can be killed easily so then it will bite his heart with its teeth and take it out of his chest and drink all the blood from it with its tounges (thats why the branches color is red coz the bloods that it drinks stays in it for a week and after this it needs blood again from any animal or person) , and then throws the heart away
and it protects my room , so no one can come and play with my things :lol:

The Puffer

The puffer is a very interesting plant. Its name, puffer, was given due to the ‘puffiness’ in its shape, and because of its defence mechanism. If the plant feels threatened, it will squirt blue mist out at the intruder. This will cause the intruder to become unconscious immediately.

This plant is mainly used as a security system. Thousands of homes around the world have this plant in front of doors, under windows, on window panes, and anywhere else that could be broken into. Its main body looks like a round mushroom. The common puffer is purple, with blue spots. It has a small nozzle where the gas is squirted out from. This is hidden under to ‘puff’ part of the plant.

Although, different variations have been know to exist. For example, The Yellow Puss Puffer is yellow in colour, and instead of emitting gas, emits and strange ‘pus’ like substance. If you wished to approach The Puffer, simply create a bad smell. Puffers prefer pleasant smells, and detest foul smelling things. This distracts it. Then hold the nozzle, while you do whatever you want to do to it. Try to keep the stems that grow out of the top short, for small puffers can grow out of the top of them, and become out of control. This type of puffer should only be bred if you wish to guard something big or extremely valuable.

It does not need feeding, for it catches food itself. It emits a smell that attracts all insects and small birds. It then squirts the gas, and eats it. So keep your hands away!

Part 2:

I found this plant in my yard one day when I was taking out the trash. There happened to have been a stale brownie in the trash bag because it had fallen on the floor, and the next thing I knew, something that looked like a large chocolate chip cookie was leaping at the bag and tearing it open. The plant had one dark brown root sticking out from its underside, and it seemed to have no problem in uprooting itself from the ground. Though no teeth were visible, the bag was torn open within minutes. I soon realized that what I had mistaken for two chocolate chips sticking out of cookie dough were actually two glaring brown eyes. I thought that perhaps this particular plant liked the taste of brownie, so I was surprised when the plant didn't eat the brownie. It simply took the brownie and guarded it, snapping at my fingers when they reached too close. I was delighted when I realized that this plant was PROTECTING the brownie. If only I could convince it to come into the house, nobody would be able to steal my warm brownies again! Of course, I couldn't get near the plant, either, so I tried to figure out what it would like. It didn't take me too long to get to a logical conclusion. I raced back into the house and returned with a cup of milk. I poured it bit by bit into the ground and the plant followed me into the house, licking at the treat. Now it guards the plate of brownies on my table, and it only lets me help myself to them because I feed it milk three times a day. Don't try to steal MY brownies! Jack-which is what I named him-can get really vicious when he wants to.

Part 2 ~*Creative Time*~

This plant that I so cleverly found deep inside the forbidden forest (with elfie's permission of course) was the Hoastious Deploum. This is a beautiful rare plant that blooms flowers that never dies. The flowers change colors upon every hour. The startling beauty of this plant can keep a person captivated for hours. Yet this is it's defence strategy. It keeps a person who looks at it too long hypnotized. As the person is caught up in the shimmering radiance of the petals and lovely fragrance, thin unbreakable roots start to creep out from the ground and wrap around their ankles. It then pricks the ankles to draw drops of blood that it suck up slowly, too slow for the victim to notice. Later on the victim will become sleepy and collapse, not knowing what happened when they wake up several hours later all weary. Once full, the flowers will close back up and turn brown to hide itself until it is hungry again.

The correct way to find this plant is to wear thick socks, carry an alarm clock, and wear dark sunglasses. The glasses will detract some of the radience away from the petals and make the person become less hypnotized. The thick sock prevents the roots from getting to your blood so easily. And the alarm clock should be set to ring every 20 mins. to wake you up from your daydream from the plant so you could get back to work. When treated correctly, this plant can treat headaches, stress, and depression.
